Optimal ordering quantity by retailer from supplier with transportation cost in a supply chain
Successful retailer-supplier collaborative relationship enhance profitability in the delivery of products or services to customers in a supply and can help alleviate pressures along all key points in the supply system. A strong alliance can bring products to market faster; reduce production and logistics costs, drive market shares, and increase sales, while maximizing profit for both partners. The success of fast-moving consumer goods from the suppliers has a direct relationship with the performance of the leading retailers, which are their main channel of distribution. The objective of this study was to establish a profit model between a single supplier and multiple supply chain collaboration that will enhance response to customer requirements. We considered the costs for various parties and use a referenced simplified framework model to obtain joint optimal pair for the outcome of coordination between the retailer and supplier. Our results showed that the value of the annual cost, with the same optimal ordering quantity, is higher when the retailer incurs transportation cost than when the supplier incurs transportation cost. This study revealed that the supplier will minimize cost when incurring transportation charges and maximize profit
An Engineering Boundary Eigenvalue Problem Studied by Functional-Analytic Methods
In this paper, we take up a boundary value problem (BVP) from the area of engineering that is described in a book by L. Collatz. Whereas there, the BVP is cast into a boundary eigenvalue problem (BEVP) having complex eigenvalues, here the original BVP is transformed into a BEVP that has positive simple eigenvalues and real eigenfunctions. Further, unlike there, we derive the inverse T = G of the differential operator L associated with the BEVP, show that T = G is compact in an appropriate real Hilbert space H, expand T u = Gu and u for all u ∈ H in a respective series of eigenvectors, and obtain max-, min-, min-max, and max-min-Rayleigh-quotient representation formulas of the eigenvalues. Specific examples for generalized Rayleigh quotients illustrate the theoretical findings. The style of the paper is expository in order to address a large readership
Couple New Iterative Method with Pade Approximation to Solve the Nonlinear Wave-Like Equations with Variable Coefficients
In this paper, some cases of wave-like equation have been solved by modified new iterative method as an infinite power series but it is impossible to compute the infinite series, therefore, the truncated power series was approximated by Pade approximation. Pade approximation approximates a truncated power series as ratio of two polynomials to reduce calculations and shorten the power series while maintaining accuracy. These cases are shown the successful use of solution approximation by Pade approximation compared to power series expansion
Proposed Development of NTRU Public Key Encryption
The 1996 proposal by Hoffstein, Pfeiffer, and Silverman for the NTRU public key encryption system provides a quick and useful substitute for factorization- or discrete logarithm-based classical programs. It rovides approximate security against quantum computing assaults and earoptimal asymptotic efficiency, in contrast to these latter approaches. The security analysis of the system involves examining naturally occurring computational and statistical challenges that are defined on finite polynomial rings. Current advancements in the broader field of latticebased cryptography, include security studies and applications of NTRU and its variations. These advancements include the creation of multilinear
REVIEW OF WπGR CLOSED SETS IN TOPOLOGICAL SPACES
In this paper we introduce a new class of sets called weakly π generalized regular closed (wπgr closed) sets. A subset A of X is called wπgr closed set if cl( int A) ⊆U whenever A⊆U and U is πgr open in X. The complement of wπgr-closed set is called wπgr-open set in X. We denote the family of all wπgr closed sets in X by wπGRC(X) and wπgr open sets in X by wπGRO(X)
Finite-Timeless Local Observability for Linear Control Systems on Lie Groups
In this work, we introduce finite-timeless observability for linear control systems on Lie groups. Observability problem is to distinguish the elements of the state space by looking the images of the solutions passing through those elements in the output space. For this aim, we define almost indistinguishability and show that it is an equivalence relation. We consider linear control systems on Lie groups, where the output function is a Lie group homomorphism and study properties of the image of almost indistinguishable points from the neutral element. Thus, we relate local observability of this kind of systems to its finite-timeless local observability
Application Of Multipoint Secant-Type Method ForFinding Roots 0f Nonlinear Equations
In this paper, we introduce a family of pk-order iterative schemes for finding the simple root of a nonlinear algebraic equation of the function fx=0 by using the divided difference approximation. The proposed method uses one evaluation of the function per iteration and can achieve convergence order pk. The error equation and asymptotic convergence constant are proved theoretically and numerically. Numerical examples are included to demonstrate the exceptional convergence speed of the proposed method and thus verify the theoretical result
Using The Box-Jenkins Method In Time Series To Predict The Monthly Electrical Loads In (Babylon Governorate - Shomali District)
The topic of time series analysis is considered one of the important statistical topics to explain the phenomena that occur during a specific period of time. Time sequence examination objects to find an accurate account of the sequence, build a suitable perfect to interpret its behavior, and use the effects to predict the future time series . We using the Box-Jenkins method in the period sequence to predict the monthly electrical loads in (Babylon Governorate - Shomali district), and we have found that the studied time series is unstable in the mean and variance, we note that the time series is stable in the nasty and alteration. Autocorrelation and incomplete autocorrelation coefficients are used for the original data. Through these coefficients, we conclude that the appropriate model for the data is (3-1-2) ARMA. This model was chosen as it obtained the least (ARAM), and thus the model is appropriate for the data and the use of predictive values until the year (2022)
Using Activated carbon of Date Seeds for the Removal of Methyl Red from aqueous Solutions
In this study, the activated carbon that was obtained from date seeds, after heating at 500 ºC, was used to remove methyl red dye from its aqueous solutions. Different parameters were applied including (the effect of dose, the effect of adsorption time, and the effect of pH value). The extent of dye removal increased with increasing adsorption time. An acidic pH is optimal for enhancing dye adsorption. The Langmuir isotherm was applied to the data obtained, and its constants were calculated at the optimum conditions. According to Langmuir isotherm, the monolayer saturation capacity (q m ) is 0.9 mg/g. The study concludedthat date seeds activated carbon (DSAC) has demonstrated effective adsorption results in removing methyl red and suggests its potential for use in other adsorption studies
