L’établissement rural gallo-romain de “Fêts de Renier” à Étrechet (Indre)
No full textInternational audienceLe site gallo-romain de “Fêts de Renier” à Étrechet (Indre), a été exploré sur environ deux hectares, dans la ZAC d’Ozans. La fouille réalisée en 2012 permet de retracer l’évolution chronologique et spatiale de ce modeste établissement rural qui est en fonction de la fin du ier s. av. J.-C. au début du iiie s. ap. J.-C. Deux principales phases d’occupation ont pu être individualisées. La morphologie de cet habitat enclos caractérise une exploitation tournée vers des activités agropastorales, mais il est possible que se développe en parallèle un artisanat en rapport avec la métallurgie du fer. Cet article synthétique décrit les vestiges structurants et leur mobilier ; il propose dans un second temps l’hypothèse argumentée d’un plan phasé du site
Cytoarchitecture and Myeloarchitecture of the sheep (Ovis aries) auditory cortex
No full textThe auditory cortex is central to auditory perception, but its detailed structural and functional organization in sheep (Ovis aries) has not been thoroughly investigated. In this study, we sought to address this gap by providing an in-depth overview of the cytoarchitecture and myeloarchitecture of the sheep auditory cortex, using cresyl violet staining and the neurochemical markers myelin basic protein and parvalbumin. Tissue samples from four sheep were used to characterize cortical layers, cellular composition, and myelination patterns, revealing a six-layered organization with variations in cell density and distribution. Myelin basic protein staining highlighted myelinated regions, providing insights into the myeloarchitecture, while parvalbumin staining identified the distribution of GABAergic interneurons, providing indications of the potential location of the primary auditory cortex. These findings deepen our knowledge of the auditory cortex in sheep, a key model for investigating sensory processing in large mammals. The structural and functional organization of the ovine auditory cortex aligns with findings in other mammals, suggesting that both are conserved across species and supporting the idea of evolutionary conservation in auditory processing mechanisms. However, future functional studies, using auditory stimulation paradigms, are necessary to fully understand the functional organization of this important sensory region

L’événement a interrogé les limites des dispositifs participatifs, mis en place à la suite de la Convention d’Aarhus, et les demandes de démocratisation. Malgré des avancées, la participation citoyenne reste entravée par des contraintes institutionnelles et une répression accrue des mouvements environnementaux. Des formes alternatives d’engagement, telles que les ZAD et les expérimentations autonomes, réinventent la participation directe, mais peinent à s’étendre. La tension entre autonomie et institutionnalisation demeure centrale, questionnant l’efficacité des dispositifs actuels face à l’urgence écologique
Construction, occupation et déconstruction de la grange gallo-romaine du “Parc des Châteaux” à La Chaussée-Saint-Victor (Loir-et-Cher)
No full textInternational audienceThe Gallo-Roman site of the ZAC du “Parc des Châteaux” at La Chaussée-Saint-Victor (Loir-et-Cher), has been explored over an area of around 1,600 m2. The excavation carried out in 2015 have enabled us to retrace the chronological and architectural evolution of a barn in use between the 1st and 3rd centuries AD. The results shed new light on this landmark building in the Beauce region. The demolition phase of the structure provides valuable data on the economics of recycling building materials. The study of the roof tiles, derived from the demolition backfill, is part of the enrichment of the regional corpus.Le site gallo-romain de la ZAC du “Parc des Châteaux” à La Chaussée-Saint-Victor (Loir-et-Cher), a été exploré sur environ 1 600 m2. La fouille réalisée en 2015 permet de retracer l'évolution chronologique et architecturale d’une grange en fonction du Ier au le IIIe s. ap. J.-C. Les résultats de cette opération éclairent sous un nouvel angle la connaissance de ce type de bâtiment emblématique du terroir beauceron à l’époque romaine. La phase de démolition de la structure apporte de précieuses données sur l’économie liée au recyclage des matériaux de construction. L’étude des tuiles, issues de ces remblais de démolition, s’intègre dans l’enrichissement du corpus régional
AQoLS-Brief: Development and psychometric properties of a short version of the alcohol quality of life scale
No full textInternational audienceBackground Short versions of health-related quality of life measures are essential for the development of preference-based measures used to obtain the quality-adjustment weights needed to calculate quality-adjusted life years (QALYs) in health economic evaluations. Using data from the randomized TRAIN study, which compared the efficacy of two cognitive training programs in patients with alcohol use disorder (AUD) recently detoxified at five centers in France from 2019 to 2023 (n=227), we report the development and psychometrics of the AQoLS-Brief, a short version of the initial 34-item Alcohol Quality of Life Scale (AQoLS). Methods Baseline data on, age, sex, AUD severity, drinking characteristics and consequences of alcohol including the AQoLS were collected. One item per dimension of the AQoLS was chosen following predefined rules. Construct validity of the AQoLS-brief was documented: internal consistency was assessed using Cronbach's alpha and external validity was assessed with external drinking and non-drinking variables via univariate analyses, a confirmatory factorial analysis (CFA) and a multivariate linear regression. Results: The 7-item AQoLS-Brief demonstrated good internal consistency (Cronbach alpha= 0.80) and very high correlation with the long version AQoLS (rho=0.95). The CFA confirmed the unidimensionality of the AQoLS-Brief. Severity of AUD, as measured by the number of DSM-5 alcohol criteria and the number of heavy drinking days, and the dimension Sadness of the Affective Neuroscience Personality Scales were the heaviest contributors to the AQoLS-Brief score. Conclusions: The AQoLS-Brief is a short version of the AQoLS with good psychometrics, enhancing its use in clinical practice and research, and representing a significant step toward establishing a relevant and specific preference-based measures for calculating QALYs in AUD populations

Deep Trade Agreements and Trade in Value- Added: Does Heterogeneity Matter?
No full textThis paper examines the heterogeneous impact of Global Value Chains (GVC) integration on singing deep trade agreements. Following Fontagné and Santoni (2021), we contribute to the literature in two ways. First, we extend their analysis by examining not only the impact of GVC on signing an agreement, but on the likelihood of signing a deep one. Second, for GVC, we distinguish between backward participation (value added in exports that rely on foreign inputs) and forward linkages (value added that is embodied in exports of other countries). We also distinguish whether GVC occurs in goods or services. To do so, we combine the Eora dataset with the Deep Trade Agreement database (World Bank) using a gravity-type model. Our main findings show that GVC increases the likelihood of signing a deep agreement that focuses on goods and services. More particularly, an increase in GVC by 1% increases the probability of signing a PTA by 2.9 percentage points. More particularly, backward linkages (relative to forward) are more likely to a↵ect the depth of the agreement as they increase the latter by 3.3 percentage points. Our results remain robust after running a set of sensitivity tests. In addition, we show that the impact of GVC is greater on the depth of provisions related to NTMs followed by services. When the development level is considered, GVC flows create a new motive to deepen trade agreements between countries that belong to di↵erent income groups.</div
