Dynamical Behavior of a Malaria relapse Model with Insecticide Treated Nets (ITNs) as Protection Measure
Malaria is a tropical disease which is mainly spread by plasmodium falciparum which has been the principal enemy to the existence of mankind till date. In this paper a version of a malaria model incorporating the use of treated mosquito nets as a disease control strategy is proposed and then transformed into proportions, so as to assess the global impact of ITNs on the prevalence of malaria. Constructing a Lyapunov function using matrix-theoretic approach, a malaria-free equilibrium state is obtained, which is globally asymptotically stable if the control reproduction number, \u3c1. This means that malaria can be controlled or eradicated under such a threshold quantity, . On the other hand, a malaria-persistence equilibrium state exists which is globally stable when \u3e1, using geometric theoretic method with Lozoskii measure. Numerical experiments also indicate that prevalence of infection can be driven to zero provided that the proportion of susceptible humans using treated mosquito nets is above a certain threshold value
Study on Solving Two-dimensional Linear and Nonlinear Volterra Partial Integro-differential Equations by Reduced Differential Transform Method
In this article, we study on the analytical and numerical solution of two-dimensional linear and nonlinear Volterra partial integro-differential equations with the appropriate initial condition by means of reduced differential transform method. The advantage of this method is its simplicity in using, it solves the problem directly without the need for linearization, perturbation, or any other transformation and gives the solution in the form of convergent power series with elegantly computed components. The validity and efficiency of this method are illustrated by considering five computational examples
Some Contiguous Relation on k-Generalised Hypergeometric Function
In this research work our aim is to determine some contiguous relations and some integral transform of the k-generalised hypergeometric functions, by using the concept of “k-Gamma and k-Beta function”. “Obviously if k approaches 1”, then the contiguous function relations become Gauss contiguous relations
Generalized Growth and Faber Polynomial Approximation of Entire Functions of Several Complex Variables in Some Banach Spaces
In this paper the relationship between the generalized order of growth of entire functions of many complex variables m (m \u3e= 2) over Jordan domains and the sequence of Faber polynomial approximations in some Banach spaces has been investigated. Our results improve the various results shown in the literature

Existence of resolvent for conformable fractional Volterra integral equations
In this paper, we consider the conformable fractional Volterra integral equation. We study the existence of a resolvent kernel corresponding to conformable fractional Volterra integral equation. The technique of proof involves Lebesgue dominated convergence theorem. Our results improve and extend the results obtained in literature
Indexed Absolute Summability Factor of Improper Integrals
In this paper, we have defined the summability for improper integrals and established a theorem on indexed absolute Cesaro summability factors of improper integral under sufficient conditions. Some auxiliary results (well known) have also been deduced from the main result under suitable conditions
The Linear Combination of Kernels in the Estimation Of Cumulative Distribution Functions
The kernel distribution function estimator method is the most popular nonparametric method to estimate the cumulative distribution function F(x). In this investigation, we propose a new estimator for F(x) based on a linear combination of kernels. The mean integrated squared error, asymptotic mean integrated squared error and the asymptotically optimal bandwidth for the new estimator are derived. Also, based on the plug-in technique in density estimation, we propose a data based method to select the bandwidth for the new estimator. In addition, we evaluate the new estimator using simulations and real life data
Estimating reference crop evapotranspiration under limited climate data in West Texas
Study region: West Texas, USA Study focus: Estimation of crop reference evapotranspiration (ETo) is essential for many aspects of water resources planning and management such as irrigation scheduling. Available widely used methods for calculating ETo include American Society of Civil Engineers’ Standardized Reference Evapotranspiration and Food and Agriculture Organization\u27s Penman-Monteith equations (FAO-ETo). These methods use complete climate datasets to estimate daily ETo, whereas simple evapotranspiration models based on radiation and temperature use limited climate data. In this study, daily ETo estimated using the temperature based Hargreaves-Samani (HS) equation were compared and evaluated with those estimated using the standard FAO-ETo at different stations of West Texas Mesonet. New hydrological insights for the region: The results showed that the HS equation with original coefficients underestimated daily ETo values as compared to FAO-ETo data. New coefficients of the globally, monthly and regionally calibrated HS equation against FAO-ETo data were derived and proposed for more accurate daily ETo estimates in West Texas. Based on the results of global, monthly and regional calibration scenarios, ETo estimated by the calibrated and validated HS equation using fitted month-specific coefficients showed better agreement with FAO-ETo both within and outside the calibration region. No significant improvement in ETo estimation was observed for the HS equation using interpolated coefficients derived from station-specific calibrated coefficients as compared with commonly calibrated coefficients derived based on datasets of all selected meteorological stations in West Texas
Non-uniform Haar Wavelet Method for Solving Singularly Perturbed Differential Difference Equations of Neuronal Variability
A non-uniform Haar wavelet method is proposed on specially designed non-uniform grid for the numerical treatment of singularly perturbed differential-difference equations arising in neuronal variability. We convert the delay and shift terms using Taylor series up to second order and then the problem with delay and shift is converted into a new problem without the delay and shift terms. Then it is solved by using non-uniform Haar wavelet. Two test examples have been demonstrated to show the accuracy of the non-uniform Haar wavelet method. The performance of the present method yield more accurate results on increasing the resolution level and converges fast in comparison to uniform Haar wavelet
