(R1984) Analysis of M^[X1], M^[X2]/G1, G_2^(a,b)/1 Queue with Priority Services, Server Breakdown, Repair, Modified Bernoulli Vacation, Immediate Feedback

    Get PDF
In this investigation, the steady state analysis of two individualistic batch arrival queues with immediate feedback, modified Bernoulli vacation and server breakdown are introduced. Two different categories of customers like priority and ordinary are to be considered. This model propose nonpreemptive priority discipline. Ordinary and priority customers arrive as per Poisson processes. The server consistently afford single service for priority customers and the general bulk service for the ordinary customers and the service follows general distribution. The ordinary customers to be served only if the batch size should be greater than or equal to a , else the server should not start service until a customers have accumulated. Meanwhile priority queue is empty; the server becomes idle or go for vacation. If server gets breakdown while the priority customers are being served, they may wait in the head of the queue and get fresh service after repair completion, but in case of ordinary customers they may leave the system. After completion of each priority service, customer may rejoin the system as a feedback customer for receiving regular service because of inappropriate quality of service. Supplementary variable technique and probability generating function are generally used to solve the Laplace transforms of time-dependent probabilities of system states. Finally, some performance measures are evaluated and express the numerical results

(R1888) On the Mackey-Glass Model with a Piecewise Constant Argument

    Get PDF
In this paper, we deal with the Mackey-Glass model with piecewise constant argument. Because the corresponding difference equation is the difference solution of the equation, the difference equation can clearly predict the dynamic behavior of the equation. So, we look at how the difference equation behaves. We study the asymptotic stability of the equilibrium point of the difference equation and it is obtained that this point is a repeller under some conditions. Also, it is shown that every oscillatory solution of the difference equation has semi-cycles of length at least two, and every oscillatory solution of the difference equation is attracted to the equilibrium point. Finally, some examples are presented to support the results

(R1898) A Study on Inextensible Flows of Polynomial Curves with Flc Frame

    Get PDF
In this paper, we investigate the inextensible flows of polynomial space curves in R3. We calculate that the necessary and sufficient conditions for an inextensible curve flow are represented as a partial differential equation involving the curvatures. Also, we expressed the time evolution of the Frenet like curve (Flc) frame. Finally, an example of the evolution of the polynomial curve with Flc frame is given and graphed

(R1501) Rotational and Hall Current Effects on a Free Convection MHD Flow with Radiation and Inclined Magnetic Field

    Get PDF
Rotational and Hall current effects on a free convection MHD flow with Radiation and inclined magnetic field are studied here. Electrically conducting, viscous, and incompressible fluid is taken. The flow is modelled with the help of partial differential equations. The analytical solutions for the velocity, concentration, and temperature are solved by the Laplace integral transform method. The outcomes acquired have been examined with the help of graphs drawn for different parameters like Hartmann number, Hall current parameter, inclination of magnetic field, angular velocity and radiation parameter, etc. The variation of the Nusselt number has been shown graphically. It is observed that Hall current parameter and inclination of magnetic field reduces the resistive effect of the applied external magnetic field. Such a study assumes importance because both rotation and Hall current induce secondary flow in the flow-field. The conclusion of the study may be useful in the field of solar physics, rotating magnetic stars, rotating MHD induction machine energy generator and many industrial applications

(R1956) Neutrosophic Soft e-Compact Spaces and Application Using Entropy Measure

    Get PDF
In this paper, the concept of neutrosophic soft e-compactness is presented on neutrosophic soft topological spaces using the definition of e-open cover and its types. In addition, neutrosophic soft e-compactness and neutrosophic soft e-separation axioms are associated. Also, the concept of neutrosophic soft locally e-compactness is introduced in neutrosophic soft topological spaces and some of its properties are discussed. Added to that, an application in decision making problem is given using entropy

(R1889) Analysis of Resonant Curve in the Earth-Moon System under the Effect of Resistive Force and Earth’s Equatorial Ellipticity

    Get PDF
In the present paper, we have determined the equations of motion of the Moon in spherical coordinate system using the gravitational potential of Earth. Using perturbation, equations of motion are reduced to a second order differential equation. From the solution, two types of resonance are observed: (i) due to the frequencies–rate of change of Earth’s equatorial ellipticity parameter and Earth’s rotation rate, and (ii) due to the frequencies–angular velocity of the bary-center around the sun and Earth’s rotation rate. Resonant curves are drawn where oscillatory amplitude becomes infinitely large at the resonant points. The effect of Earth’s equatorial ellipticity parameter and resistive force on the resonant curve is analyzed. From the graphs it is observed that the effect of Earth’s equatorial ellipticity on the resonant curve is very small while the effect of resistive force is significant. It is also observed that oscillatory amplitude decreases when the magnitude of resistive force increases. Finally, the phase portrait is analyzed when the system is free from forces. Orbits in the phase space are also studied by applying the method of Poincare section. A necessary condition for the bifurcation is derived at the end
