REVIEW POTENSI TANAMAN OBAT AKAR WANGI (Vetiveria Zizanioides) SEBAGAI TANAMAN HIPERAKUMULATOR DALAM FITOREMIDIASI PADA LAHAN TERCEMAR LOGAM
Increased population growth results in increasing human needs over time. Meeting the high needs triggered the development of industries that meet the needs. Problems arise from the many industries that emerge, one of which is an environmental problem. Many industries in Indonesia have not used good waste treatment standards, causing pollution from the rest of the production process in the industry, one of which contains heavy metals such as Pb, Zn, Mercury and so on. Heavy metal is a type of pollutant that is harmful to plants, animals and humans through the process of bioaccumulation in the food chain. The purpose of this research is the content of heavy metals that are harmful to the sustainability of ecosystems in the environment requires a long time so that one way to prevent heavy metal compounds that can be released to the environment is by managing the bioremediasi process with fragrant root medicinal plants (Vetiveria Zizanioides) which has hyperaccumulator properties which can absorb one of the heavy metals namely Cadmium (Cd) and Lead (Pb)
Implementasi Forward Chaining Method Pada Sistem Pakar Untuk Deteksi Dini Penyakit Ikan
This study aims to create a computer based intelligent system to detect freshwater fish disease. Problems often faced by fish farmers, especially freshwater fish, are fish diseases that begin with signs such us wounds on the surface of the fish’s body, bleeding on the gills, fish’s stomach which suddenly enlarges and is filled with fluid, the release of fins or the tail of the fish which results in the death of cultivated fish, thereby reducing freshwater fish production. The expert system developed to implement the forward chaining method which starts with tracking the symptoms experienced by fish to determine the preventive action that must be taken by bringing the symptoms to the system. System development in this study uses extreme programming (XP) where the flexibility of this method supports all changes that occur when developing an expert system to detect fish diseases. The output of the research carried out in the form of an expert system that provides information about freshwater fish diseases, the cause and how to overcome them
Pengelolaan Limbah Domestik Rumah Tangga Menjadi Biokomposter Mikroorganisme Dengan Metode Aerob-Anaerob
Biocomposter is one form of household waste management by processing waste into compost. Composting is the process by which organic material decomposes biologically, especially by microbes that utilize organic material as an energy source. The composting process runs aerobically and anaerobically in certain environmental conditions called the decomposition process. The purpose of this study was to determine the processing of solid domestic waste using the Bio Composter method and determine the effectiveness of the use of the remaining kitchen activities in domestic (household) waste treatment. In this study, using two programs, aerobic and anaerobic. The composition of the anaerobic biocomposter (with air) uses a perforated cover which is a mixture of composter from ready-made fertilizer (placed at the bottom), then then the banana skin that has been cut into small pieces first, after the banana peel is added to clay and finally put fertilizer ready-made composter. As for the composition of the aerobic biocomposter (without air), using a closed cover is first included composter fertilizer that is ready, then enter the banana skin that has been sliced into small pieces and placed neatly on the compost, then put the clay placed on top banana peels and finally put banana peels back on the clay. The results obtained are that the compost changes color to old brown, the temperature and pH are stable and the pungent aroma of waste has begun to diminish due to the appropriate composting process
Mekanisme Fitoremediasi: Review
Increasing urbanization, overpopulation, and industrialization are amongst the major lead of environmental degradation and pollution. Severe metals like Pb, Zn, Cd, As, etc. are among the highly harmful pollutants which fair harmful effects on all existing things. Lead is a pollutant that interferes with the food chain and is deadly even at low sedimentation. The purification technique used to wipe contaminants from wastewater is not only very scarce but also leads to a negative effect on the ecosystem. Phytoremediation, an environmentally friendly technique that is both ecologically and economically impression, is an appealing alternative to influx methods which are very scarce. Phytoremediation is an in-situ remediation technique that uses the inherent capability of living crops. Phytoremediation uses crops to clean up contaminants in the environment. Crops can help cleanse many types of contaminants including metals, pesticides, detonators, and oils. There are three ways in which crops can sway the mass of pollution in soil, sediment, water, and air. The first is phytoextraction also called phytoaccumulas, which refers to the uptake and translocation of metal contaminants in the soil by plant roots to above-ground plant parts. The second rizofiltration is mainly used to improve extracted groundwater, surface water, and low- contaminant wastewater. And the third is phytovolatilization which involves using plants to take contaminants from the soil, visit them into easy forms and transfer them to the atmosphere
Usulan Kebijakan Pemeliharan Mesin Untuk Mengurangi Frekuensi Breakdown Menggunakan Reliability Centered Maintenance
Production process flows are often the obstacles caused by production machine not functioning. Maintenance policies applied today are corrective maintenance and plan maintenance/time direct. Reliability centered maintenance (RCM) it’s method that can be used optimal maintenance action for every part of machine in galvanizing wire system. Steps above method planning consist of a functional block diagram (FBD), system function and function failure (SFFF), failure mode and effect analysis (FMEA), logic tree analysis (LTA), and task selection (TS). The results of analysis RCM method obtained 392 failure mode divided into 83 failure mode which is classified as critical and obtained 59 critical type part. Furthermore, the most appropriate maintenance action for 83 failure critical mode is 55 failure mode in condition directed (CD), 28 failure mode in failure finding (FF) category. Based on design of RCM, this research can reduce the frequency of machine breakdown on galvanizing wire system by 80.98%
Desain dan Analisis Elemen Hingga Model Prosthetic Ankle-Foot
Foot prosthetics is one of the needs of the disabled feet as a tool for activities. The ankle prosthetic model is proposed as an alternative prosthetic model that is affordable to people with disabilities. The model is designed and analyzed to be able to withstand the average weight of a human being in the heel strike, midstance, and toe-off position and has a safe safety factor value. The research method used is the model design and model analysis consisting of preprocessing, solution, and post-processing. The analysis results showed that the greatest deformation occurred in the toe-off position of 1.52 mm when given a load of 500 N and 0.036 mm when given a moment of 5000 Nmm. The greatest strain energy was located in the forefoot area at a toe-off position of 0.6 mJ. Maximum stress also occurred at the toe-off position of 5.71 MPa. With a safety factor of 4.7, this model is categorized as safe because the stress that occurs is still below the yield strength limit of the ABS material
Desain Reaktor Pengolahan Limbah Cair Laboratorium
The design of the laboratory liquid waste treatment reactor aims to treat laboratory waste so it is environmentally friendly based on physical and chemical parameters. Reducing the concentration of waste close to or in accordance with the quality standards of liquid waste and also as a waste treatment model that utilizes agricultural waste as reactor stuffing to process laboratory waste to be environmentally friendly. This research also adds economic value to cocoa skin waste, so that cocoa farmers get additional income from cocoa shells. The optimum conditions in the design of this tool occur at a flow rate of 21.94 mL / sec, the height of the adsorbent 20 cm so as to reduce the value of TSS (Total Suspended Solid) with an efficiency of 62,285% and TDS (Total Dissolve Suspended) with an efficiency of 19,415% and at optimum conditions have a pH value of 7. The method applied in this study is the filtration method and the absorption or adsorption method. The sample flow from the bottom up so that the contact between the adsorbent and the waste in the reactor is maximal because of the influence of pressure and gravity. The result of this process is the formation of fine sediments between adsorbents
Pengaruh Diethyl Ether Terhadap Torsi dan Daya Mesin Diesel Injeksi Langsung Berbahan Bakar Solar Campuran Jatropa
Increasing consumption of fossil fuels, depleting oil reserves and increasingly expensive fuels have forced the use of alternative fuels. Diethyl ether (DEE) can be used as an alternative fuel because it has a high cetane number, low viscosity, and high oxygen content. This observation was carried out to determine the effect of the addition of Diethyl ether on 20% diesel-jatropha fuel mixture to the torque and power produced. Tests carried out on a 4JB1 type direct injection diesel engine with a constant speed of 2500 rpm. The DEE volume used is 5%, 10%, and 15% is volume-based. The test results show 20% jatropha content produces lower torque and power compared to pure diesel fuel (D100). Also, the addition of DEE to 20% diesel-jatropha fuel produces low torque and power but the value is higher than 20% of diesel-jatropha fuel. The highest torque and power reduction trends occurred in the use of DJ20 fuel by 0.0448% when loading 25%. While the lowest decrease in torque and power occurs in the DJ20DEE15 fuel by 0.0112% with 100% loading compared to D100 fuel
