    The Sembelia Steam Power Plant is located in East Lombok, West Nusa Tenggara and is managed by PT. Lombok Energy Dynamic uses the light coal until 200,000 tons per year. This case can be the environmental pollution. This study aims to calculate the SO2 and CO2 exhaust gases into the environment by the simulation as well as included the %fatality due to coal combustion of the The Sembelia Steam Power Plant with the model of Gaussian. This research was carried out by calculating the SO2 and CO2 concentrations released concentration. At the end of these project, we calculated the SO2 and CO2 released by the dispersion potential and %fatality at four points around it. The result of this research showed that the dispersion mass of SO2 dispersion was 0.096 kg per second (with distance of 2,000 to 46,000 m). This result showed that the increases (6.876x10-46 ppm to 1.276x10-5 ppm), and then showed that the decreases to 0 ppm. % Fatality in this study is 0%. The potential of CO2 dispersion with an outgoing mass of 8,252 kg/second increased (2,000-58,000 m) with a concentration of 62.47x10- 63 ppm to 7.9x10-4ppm. In the other hand, the concentration of CO2 was reduced to 0 ppm. In the end of this study showed that %fatality by the CO2 released is 0%, and the calculation of dispersion at four points around the The Sembelia Steam Power Plant is safe from the SO2 and CO2 dispersion

    Batteries as an energy source are no longer a known new technology; their use has been a part of life for many years. Batteries also have detrimental (bad) power, especially for the environment, including the contribution of carbon that produces Greenhouse Gas (GHG) emissions as one of the causes of global warming that triggers climate change. To find out, a quantitative study was conducted by calculating the energy conversion of smartphone batteries using the carbon conversion principle in the Intergovernmental Panel Climate Change (IPCC) formula. Based on the study\u27s results, smartphone batteries use in the last decade has experienced a rapid increase starting from 60,431,616 tons of CO2 in 2011, and 2022 soaring to 447,672,960 tons of CO2. This shows a significant increase in GHG carbon emissions from smartphone battery development. and prove that the use of battery technology also produces carbon emissions from secondary sources and is not 100% environmentally friendly, therefore energy efficiency measures by using smartphones wisely are expected to reduce GHG carbon emissions due to the use of excessive battery power from smartphones

    Catfish cultivation is widely cultivated by the Indonesian people and generally uses intensive methods so as to produce high stocking densities. Fish farming activities will produce wastewater in which organic residues can accumulate from feeding fish, manure, particles of fish feed residue, bacteria, and algae. In addition, catfish cultivators utilize the remaining water from catfish cultivation as plant fertilizer without further processing. This will affect other organisms in the soil, so it is necessary to research and manufacture liquid fertilizer from water left over from catfish farming. Liquid organic fertilizer is a fertilizer derived from organic materials from plants and animals that have undergone decomposition and have a liquid form of product. Liquid organic fertilizer is made by comparing the composition of the remaining water from catfish farming, EM4, and molasses. This aims to determine the effect of bioactivators for liquid organic fertilizer with water as a base material from catfish cultivation. The composition made is 1 liter of pure wastewater (sample A); 1 liter of pure waste, 20 ml of EM4, and 20 ml of molasses (sample B); 1 liter of pure waste, 10 ml of EM4, and 30 ml of molasses (sample C); and 1 liter of pure waste, 30 ml of EM4, and 10 ml of molasses (sample D) which were then kept in the mixture for 15 days in a closed manner. From these 4 variations, the results of testing pH, temperature and also organic C content were obtained where the temperature and pH tests met the quality standards for liquid organic fertilizers, while the organic C values did not meet the quality standards for liquid organic fertilizers

    Acrylamide is a chemical that is formed naturally from heating starchy or carbohydrate foods at a temperature of 120 ºC. Some of the uses of acrylamide include water treatment, oil drilling, pulp and paper, mining, and others. Acrylamide pollution in the environment can be through surface water or groundwater, water channels that flow into wells, rivers, to the sea. Several studies have reported an increased risk of kidney disorders, endometrial cancer, and ovarian cancer as a result of exposure to acrylamide. The mechanism for the occurrence of cancer due to acrylamide is the occurrence of genesis mutations or glycidamide mutations, these mutations which cause cancer. Research shows that glycidamide mutations are found in one-third of the approximately 1,600 tumor genomes corresponding to 19 human tumor types from 14 organs. There is an unexpected extensive contribution of acrylamide-associated mutagenesis in human cancer

    Pengolahan Total Coliform Menggunakan Kombinasi Metode Wetland dan Sinar UV

    Total coliform level contained in the effluent of the shipbuilding industry WWTP in East Java has exceeded the threshold value, respectively 6000-15.400 cfu/100 mL. Threshold value of Domestic Wastewater published by Minister of Environment and Forestry Regulation Number 68 in 2016 mentioned that total coliform allowed to discharge to water column is 3000 CFU/100mL. The number of total coliforms in river can cause health problems in humans and animals so that further processing is needed. In this study, a combination of Wetland and UV light disinfection methods was used to reduce total coliform levels. In the wetland method using a Cattail plants (Typha angustifolia) to reduce the total coliform. This study varied the length of contact time (4, 8, and 12 days) in wetlands and irradiation time (10, 20, and 30 minutes) in UV disinfection in order to obtain the best variation in treating total coliforms found in WWTP effluent. The results showed that all variations of the combination of wetland treatment and UV light were able to remove the total coliform concentration below the quality standard. The best combination variation based on the results of the Two Way Anova Analysis obtained a combination method of 4 days of contact time and 10 minutes of irradiation with a P-value of 0.020

Therefore, STT Dumai held community service for IT PLUS BAZMA Brilliant High School Teachers, namely, Training to Make Multiple Choice Test Using Ms. Office Power Point for IT Plus Bazma Brilliant High School Teachers on Wednesday, January 30, 2018. Training provided for three materials, namely techniques and things to consider in making Power Point, the use of features in Power Point, and make a quiz with Power Point.     The low ability of students to write sentences in Indonesia language learning is the background of this research. Salted fish learning resources are used to develop students’ writing sentence skills. Salted fish as part of local wisdom is an important given to education. This study aims to examine the effectiveness of the use of salted fish learning resources to make sentences in Indonesian language learning. The study was conducted in class III SDN Tambakreja 02 Cilacap with 25 students, consisting of 12 male and 13 female students. Data collection techniques were observation, interview, and documentation. The collected data were analyzed using qualitative analysis techniques. The result of the study proves that salted fish learning resources are effective in developing students’ writing abilities. High student enthusiasm, seen from a pleasant atmosphere and student activity in the learning process. The percentage of students who score above KKM is 92% of 25 students

In designing this information system using methods with the stages of Requirements analysis, Data modeling, Normalization. This study also uses the PHP (Hypertext Preprocessor) programming language, XAMPP, my sql, sublime text 3, Microsoft Office Vision and data obtained from the results of data collection at the research location. This petty cash accounting information system is made so that the process of presenting financial statements about petty cash expenditures that are urgently needed by the company can be done easily, quickly, accurately, effectively, and efficiently in order to avoid waste and fraud.     Transformator merupakan unsur utama dan merupakan mata rantai terpenting dalam penyaluran dan distribusi tenaga listrik. Sehingga diperlukan sistem proteksi yang selektif, andal, sensitif, dan cepat untuk menjaga keandalan trafo. Salah satu komponen proteksi trafo adalah CT (trafo arus) yang berfungsi sebagai pembaca arus proteksi relay, apabila terjadi gangguan maka relay proteksi mendeteksi adanya keabnormalan sehingga  memberikan sinyal trip pada PMT untuk memutus rangkaian listrik. Relay pada sistem proteksi trafo memiliki lokasi pengamanan yang berbeda. Di PT. PLN (Persero) UPT Cirebon, terjadi gangguan pada bay trafo yang mengakibatkan relay bekerja. Namun kerja relay ini tidak sesuai dengan lokasi gangguan yang terjadi. Setelah diinvestigasi didapatkan bahwa  CT pada bay trafo memiliki desain peletakan yang kurang tepat sehingga mengakibatkan salah kerja relay (kurang selektif). Untuk memperbaiki kesalahan tersebut, maka dilakukan perubahan wiring CT pada trafo produksi lama. Perubahan wiring CT ini disesuaikan dengan ketentuan SPLN T5.003-2010 Tentang Standar Pola Proteksi Transformator Tenaga sehingga apabila terjadi gangguan relay bekerja sesuai dengan lokasi proteksinya. Hal ini terbukti pada saat terjadi gangguan setelah dilakukan perubahan wiring relay bekerja sesusai dengan fungsinya, sehingga prinsip sistem proteksi terpenuhi, yaitu selektif, andal, sensitif dan cepat
