    Clustering Productive Palm Land using the K- Means Clustering Algorithm

    Indonesia is a country with a tropical climate that has many oil palm plantations. CV. Alkema Deo is one of the companies that manage oil palm plantations in Sampit City, East Kotawaringin Regency, Central Kalimantan. CV. Alkema Deo was founded in 2016 and has two plantation locations located on Jl. General Sudirman Km. 18, East Kotawaringin and Seibabi Village, Telawang District, East Kotawaringin. In this study, a qualitative approach was applied using a descriptive research pattern. In qualitative research, data is obtained from sources using various data collection techniques. Research using qualitative methods emphasizes the analysis of thought processes related to the dynamics of the relationship between observed phenomena, and always uses scientific logic. Based on the results of research for authors on a CV. Alkema Deo, the use of Excel in companies is quite good at processing data, but on a CV. Alkema Deo does not yet have land groupings based on productivity levels, so it is difficult to see the level achieved in 6 months based on the set target, and daily production control in terms of area and block area. Data obtained from CV. Alkema Deo is grouped based on area, block, and productivity. Application of data mining for grouping productive oil palm land on a CV. Alkema Deo with 4 variables, namely: land area, length, average production yield, percentage of achievement using the K-Means Algorithm to produce three clusters, namely 8 blocks or 50% including the high productive group (C2), 1 block or 6% blocks including the medium productive plantation group (C1), and 7 blocks or 44% including the small productive plantation group (C0)

    In the era of continually advancing information technology, information systems have become a crucial element in the management of institutions, including higher education institutions such as the Bandung Institute of Technology (Akademi Teknologi Bandung). Attendance and employee payroll management are vital aspects of the institution\u27s operations. In this context, the implementation of a web-based attendance and payroll system becomes a relevant solution. As a leading educational institution, the Bandung Institute of Technology needs to modernize its technological infrastructure to optimize attendance and payroll management. A case study on the development of a web-based attendance and payroll system at the Bandung Institute of Technology aims to explore the potential improvements and efficiencies that can be gained through the application of information technology in attendance and payroll management. The objective is to ensure more accurate attendance recording, timely salary payments, and transparency in salary calculations for employees. Additionally, this system is expected to reduce the risk of human errors in administrative processes, ultimately enhancing productivity and service quality within the institution. The research method employed is the Agile Framework, which is increasingly utilized because it helps developers create software according to consumer needs. The design used in building this system utilizes PHP as the programming language, MySQL as the database, and Visual Studio Code as the editor. The system has been tested using various methods such as Black Box Testing and User Acceptance Testing to verify that all features and functions are functioning correctly. User Acceptance Testing results in a highly satisfactory status, with scores ranging from 92% to 96% across 11 assessment criteria

    Along with the development of the technological era in the increasingly rapid digital world, the crimes that may occur in the digital world are also growing. One of the problems that is quite dangerous is the occurrence of theft. In the digital world, data theft is very possible, including the theft of important or even unimportant data. This study will discuss data theft that can occur in the process of sending email. Email servers such as Google, with their product, Gmail, use Transport Layer Security (TLS) as a security system and produce an application that can be used for it. However, it turns out that the security system cannot work optimally if one of the recipients or senders does not use TLS as a security system. Cryptography and Steganography are methods that can maximize the function of securing the email data. In this research, Advanced Encryption Standard (AES) is used as a method of Cryptography, and Least Significant Bit (LSB) which is a method of Steganography. One of the good things that can be obtained from using LSB is that LSB does not use too many computational processes, which will reduce the performance of devices that will also perform AES processes. The results obtained from this study are the process of securing data on email using AES and LSB successfully anticipates the shortcomings of using TLS

    In the world of education, in general, the Solar System has begun to be taught to 6th grade elementary school students, in which the process of teaching the material places more emphasis on explanatory theory from textbooks and little practice using simple media. With so not a few students and female students who feel that, with this learning method it is felt that it is very less effective. Development of an android application using Augmented Reality technology as a Solar System learning medium using the Marker Based Tracking method and based on Distance, Light Intensity and Usability testing, in order to be able to provide an innovation with learning methods that can create an interactive learning communication between students and teachers. In developing applications using Unity 3D and Vuforia Engine software to be able to provide interesting and interactive alternative learning media for students of SDN 2 Kelut Kab. cool. The method used in application design is the Marker Based Tracking method because the use of markers will be more effective and interactive if used for learning purposes. The Waterfall model is the model used in developing this application. Application testing is carried out by testing the distance, light intensity, and usability. The test results get the ideal use of the application at a medium distance (30-40 cm), with scenes during the day (90-120 lux), at night (40-50 lux). In the usability test, it gets a value of 90.6% or "Very Good"

    Analisis Konsumsi BBM dengan Variasi Lingkungan Operasi Kendaraan Bermotor Menuju Perilaku Eco-Drive

    The increase in greenhouse gases in the form of CO2 gas as vehicle exhaust emissions contributes to climate change. Technological approaches and alternative fuels continue to reduce fuel consumption, but this is not enough. Another method is to use eco-drive behavior, one of which is related to replacing the air filter. This study is purposed to provide guidelines for motorized vehicles operating in selected areas in Lampung Province in the behavior of eco-driving. The results of the fuel consumption test using the full-to-full method found that at each filter distance (8,000 km, 12000, and 16,000 km), vehicles operating in Mesuji with the highest deficiency, followed by Tanjung Bintang and Krui areas. In line with eco-drive behavior, for vehicles operating in Mesuji, the air filter replacement period must be faster than the other two areas, followed by Tanjung Bintang and Krui.An increase in greenhouse gases in the form of CO2 gas, a result of burning fuel in motorized vehicles, contributes to climate change. Technological approaches and the use of alternative fuels continue to be developed to reduce fuel consumption, but this is not enough. Another approach is eco-driving behavior. Replacing the air filter is one of the preventive maintenance activities on vehicles which is part of eco-driving behavior. This research intends to provide simple instructions for motorists so they can save fuel consumption. The results of the full-to-full test carried out 20 times can be a simple guide to eco-driving behavior, where the simple clue in question is the air filter replacement period. Replacing the air filter every 8,000 km and not every 16,000 km can save fuel consumption by 8% in the Krui area, 9% in the Tanjung Bintang area, and 6% in the Mesuji area

    Effect of Butanol-Gasoline Blend Toward Performance Matic-Transmission Applied in Single Cylinder Capacity Engine

    The availability of fuel oil is decreasing while the level of consumption is increasing. This encourages the need for the development of alternative energy to minimize the crisis. This study investigates the characteristics of fuel and automatic transmission combustion engines. The fuel used is butanol variations B7, B12 and B18 (7%, 12%, and 18%) and pertalite (RON-90). The gasoline engine used has a capacity of 110 cc with a compression ratio of 9.5:1, an automatic transmission system, and air conditioning. The performance test equipment used is the Dynotest-chassis type 50L-BRT. Fuel variations are applied to an engine performance test by using engine speeds of 3000-9000 rpm. The results showed that the use of 18% butanol increased the output power and thermal efficiency by 8.3 kW and 923.95 kPa at 8000 rpm. torque and MEP (average effective pressure) increased by 8 N.m and 923.95 kPa at 5000 rpm. Meanwhile, SFC (specific fuel consumption) decreased by 0.35 kg/kWh at 8000 rpm

    Product development is a combination of technological trends that play a role in creating innovative works. Conceptual design is the initial phase of developing innovative product configurations. The processing of coconut sap into traditional palm sugar has constraints; the production process takes 4 to 6 hours and has a moisture content above 3%. The research objective was to obtain a machine design to increase production volume and reduce the water content in palm sugar. The machine design process begins with conducting interviews with 20 palm sugar craftsmen with approximately 5 years of experience to obtain information on priority needs. The VOC (Voice Of Customer) method can be used to determine priority designs and specifications. The results of the VOC process are (1) machine components made of food-grade materials, (2) production machines that are easy to operate and easy to maintain, (3) production machines with operational costs and affordable prices among MSMEs. The design development process has two alternative machines made using the Solidworks software. The results of the assessment of 30 SMEs’ palm sugar selected alternative two machine designs with dimensions of 70 x 60 x 155 cm. The advantage of the second engine design alternative is that it has a temperature sensor to adjust the gas valve and a pan with an insulator so that it can maintain temperature stability. The design of the palm sugar machine still requires innovation and development to increase production and quality.Pengembangan produk merupakan perpaduan tren teknologi yang berperan dalam menciptakan karya-karya inovatif. Desain konseptual merupakan fase awal pengembangan konfigurasi produk inovatif. Proses desain konseptual memiliki kebebasan pemilihan teknik dalam mendapatkan solusi teknis. Pasar gula semut mengalami peningkatan secara lokal maupun kebutuhan expor. Pengolahan nira kelapa menjadi gula semut tradisonal, diperlukan pendampingan untuk peningkatan kapasitas produksi dan kulalitas dalam mendukang tumbuhnya sektor usaha mikro kecil menengah. Penggunaan mesin pengolahan gula semut merupakan salah satu alternatif.  Proses perancangan mesin gula semut dimulai dengan wawancara dengan 20 orang pengrajin gula semut Kabupaten Cilongok dengan pengalaman kurang lebih 5 tahun sehingga mendapatkan informasi kebutuhan prioritas pembuatan desain. VOC (voise of custumer) merupakan luaran dari wawancara selanjutnya melakukan penilaian tingkat prioritas desain (1) komponen mesin yang terbuat dari materia food grade, (2) mesin produksi mudah dioprasikan dan perawatan, (3) mesin produksi dengan biaya oprasional dan harga terjangkau dikalangan umkm. Proses pengembangan desain memiliki 2 alternatif dibuat menggunakan software solidwork. Hasil pemilihan desain sebanyak 30 pengrajian gula semut memilih alternatif desain mesin 2 dengan dimensi 70 x 60 x 155 cm. Kelebihan dari altenatif desain 2 memiliki sensor suhu untuk mengatur katup gas dan panci dengan isolator sehingga dapat menjaga kesetabilan panas.     Analisis Performa PLTS Off Grid Untuk Sistem Desalinasi Metode Osmosis Terbalik

    Bondan Hamlet is a hamlet in Kampung Laut District, Cilacap. One of the community\u27s problems is the lack of clean water and the PLN electricity network. In 2020, a desalination facility named Sidesi Mas will be built in Bondan Hamlet with a capacity of 240 liters/hour and using the reverse osmosis principle. The energy source for desalination uses a solar power plant (PLTS). Desalination management requires economic analysis, especially in determining the selling price of desalinated water. The cost of producing desalinated water can be calculated using the Cost of energy (CoE) value of the PLTS or the costs incurred to produce electrical energy per 1 kWh. To get the PLTS CoE, this article discusses a simulation to analyze the performance of PLTS desalination systems with Homer software. Homer performs analytical calculations based on a location input, solar energy potential, capacity, and costs of PLTS components as well as electrical load data. The simulation results show that PLTS energy production is 535 kWh/year, the CoE value is IDR 21,975/kWh and the production cost for producing clean water is IDR 183.13/liter.Dusun Bondan merupakan sebuah dusun di Kecamatan Kampung Laut, Cilacap. Salah satu permasalahan masyarakatnya adalah kurangnya air bersih.  Pada tahun 2020 di Dusun Bondan dibangun fasilitas desalinasi yang diberi nama Sidesi Mas dengan kapasitas 240 liter/jam dan menggunakan prinsip osmosa terbalik. Sumber energi untuk  desalinasi menggunakan Pembangkit Listrik Tenaga Surya (PLTS). Pengelolaan desalinasi memerlukan analisis ekonomi, terutama dalam menentukan harga jual air bersih hasil desalinasi. Nilai Cost of energy (CoE) dari PLTS atau biaya yang dikeluarkan untuk menghasilkan energi listrik per 1 kWh digunakan untuk menghitung biaya produksi air bersih. Untuk mendapatkan CoE PLTS, artikel ini membahas suatu  simulasi untuk menganalisis performa PLTS sistem desalinasi dengan perangkat lunak Homer. Perhitungan analitik dilakukan Homer berdasarkan input lokasi, potensi energi matahari, kapasitas dan biaya-biaya komponen PLTS serta data beban listrik. Hasil simulasi menunjukkan produksi energi PLTS  535 kWh/tahun, nilai CoE  Rp 21.975,-/kWh dan biaya produksi  untuk memproduksi air bersih Rp 183,13,-/liter

    Lithium-ion batteries are the recent main store of electrochemical energy that have been widely used for electronic equipment, electric vehicles, and also renewable energy storage such as wind and solar. Lithium-ion batteries have many electrochemical advantages but lithium availability in nature is reduced very quickly and its distribution is uneven throughout the world. Sodium is attractive as an alternative to lithium insertion for secondary batteries because of its abundant availability and oxidation reduction potential to standard hydrogen electrodes only 0.3 volts higher than lithium. This study aims to synthesize hard carbon from nipah shell biomass using thermal methods of low-temperature pyrolysis (lower than 200 oC) followed by high-temperature pyrolysis (higher than 1000 oC). Characterization is carried out by iodine number analysis to determine porosity and SEM-EDX to determine texture and morphology. The result of the analysis of carbon iodine number is 346.86 mg/g while SEM-EDX analysis showed that carbon has a structure similar to a combination of graphene and nano-tube carbon.Baterai ion litium adalah penyimpan energi elektrokimia yang utama saat ini yang telah digunakan secara luas untuk peralatan elektronik,  kendaraan listrik, dan juga penyimpan energi terbarukan angin dan matahari. Baterai ion litium memiliki banyak keunggulan elektrokimia diantaranya tegangan atau voltase yang tinggi, kerapatan energi yang tinggi, daya spesifik yang tinggi, memiliki suhu operasi yang lebar, dan ketahanan simpan muatan listrik yang baik, tetapi kelemahannya yakni ketersediaan litium di alam yang berkurang dengan sangat cepat serta distribusinya yang tidak merata di seluruh dunia. Sodium menarik sebagai alternatif pengganti insersi litium untuk baterai sekunder karena ketersediaannya yang melimpah serta memiliki potensial reduksi oksidasi terhadap elektroda hidrogen standar hanya sebesar 0,3 volt lebih tinggi dari litium. Karbon keras dinilai sebagai material paling sesuai untuk anoda baterai ion sodium. Artikel ini mengetengahkan analisis tekstur dan morfologi dari karbon tempurung nipah yang dipirolisis pada suhu tinggi (> 1000 oC) dan mengkaji kelayakannya sebagai bahan baku anoda baterai ion sodium

    Comparison Analysis of Cloning-Hashing Applications for Digital Evidence Security

    The development of the Internet has resulted in an increasing variety of cyber crimes. Cybercrime is closely related to digital evidence, so cybercriminals tend to delete, hide, and format all collected data to eliminate traces of digital evidence. This digital evidence is very vital in proving at trial, so it is necessary to develop applications to secure digital evidence. This study aims to compare the results of cloning and hashing in securing digital evidence and evaluate the performance of a digital forensic application developed under the name Clon-Hash Application v1 compared to applications commonly used by investigators including Autopsy, FTK Imager, md5.exe in terms of its function, the result, CPU usage. The results of the research conducted show that the cloning process is perfectly successful, as evidenced by the hash value results which are the same as paid applications and there are even several other applications that have not been able to display the hash value. Hash values in the Clon-Hash v1 application also vary from MD5, SHA1, and SHA256 which do not exist in other applications. Applications developed are better in terms of function, results, and CPU usage.  Perkembangan Internet mengakibatkan variasi kejahatan siber meningkat. Kejahatan siber ini sangat erat kaitannya dengan bukti digital, sehingga penjahat siber cenderung menghapus, menyembunyikan, dan memformat semua data yang dikumpulkan untuk menghilangkan jejak bukti digital. Bukti digital ini sangat vital dalam pembuktian pada persidangan, maka diperlukan pengembangan aplikasi untuk mengamankan bukti digital. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk membandingkan hasil kloning dan hashing dalam mengamankan bukti digital dan mengevaluasi kinerja aplikasi forensik digital yang dikembangkan dengan nama Clon-Hash Application v1 dibandingkan dengan aplikasi yang umumnya digunakan oleh penyidik antara lain Autopsy, FTK Imager, md5.exe dari segi fungsinya, hasilnya, penggunaan CPU. Hasil penelitian yang dilakukan bahwa proses kloning berhasil dengan sempurna dibuktikan dengan hasil nilai hash yang sama dengan aplikasi yang berbayar bahkan ada beberapa aplikasi lain yang belum dapat menampilkan nilai hash tersebut. Nilai hash pada aplikasi Clon-Hash v1 juga bervariasi dari MD5, SHA1 dan SHA256 yang belum ada pada aplikasi lain. Aplikasi yang dikembangkan lebih baik dari sisi fungsi, hasil dan penggunaan CPU
