    Perubahan iklim akibat pemanasan global menuntut penggunaan teknologi pembangkit listrik yang ramah lingkungan. Pembangkit Listrik Tenaga Surya (PLTS) merupakan salah satu pembangkit yang ramah lingkungan. Namun, pembangkit ini bersifat intermiten sehingga jika dioperasikan secara off-grid akan memerlukan perangkat penyimpanan energi. Paper ini merancang suatu sistem PV off-grid pada daerah 3T (tertinggal, terdepan, dan terluar) di Indonesia dengan menggunakan sistem penyimpan energi hibrida, yaitu baterai dan superkapasitor. Fluktuasi energi jangka pendek diutamakan ditangani oleh superkapasitor, sedangkan energi jangka panjang yang lebih stabil disuplai oleh baterai. Pendekatan ini bertujuan mengurangi stres dan siklus charge-discharge baterai, sehingga memperlambat degradasi baterai. Performa dari sistem ini diuji dengan melakukan pemodelan dan simulasi aliran energi pada MATLAB. Berdasarkan hasil simulasi, dilakukan prediksi umur baterai dengan menggunakan algoritma rain flow counting dan perhitungan Levelized Cost of Energy (LCOE) dari sistem pembangkit. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa penambahan superkapasitor pada sistem penyimpanan energi dapat menstabilkan transien daya dan mengurangi siklus charge-discharge baterai, sehingga memperpanjang umur baterai . Selain itu, LCOE pada sistem dengan superkapasitor lebih rendah daripada sistem tanpa superkapasitor

    The car spare parts rack is one of the products ordered from PT. Y which is produced by PT. TH. Apart from that, PT. TH also accepts the shelf repair process if there is damage due to use. This research was conducted to find out the process of repairing car spare parts racks specifically for crash pad main assembly. The research method uses literature study and observation. Observations were carried out at PT. TH as the company in charge of repairing all rack spare parts from PT. Y. The shelf repair process generally includes steps to repair or restore the condition of damaged shelves, the process includes checking damage, measuring and cutting hollow steel for the shelf frame, welding process, cleaning welding marks, replacing shelf wheels, painting, installing parts. , installation of bases and roof racks, installation of rack covering mica, naming of racks and quality control process. Machines and equipment used in the shelf repair process include welding machines, grinders, hand drills, cutting wheels, compressors and anglers. This shelf repair procedure is in accordance with the SOP from PT. Y so that it can produce product improvements whose quality is guaranteed

    The technique of spreading fertilizer on rice plants is an important part of equalizing land fertility. In general, farmers use their hands to spread granular fertilizer. The spreading process results in an irregular distribution of fertilizer and also takes a relatively long time. The aim of this research is to design a granular fertilizer spreader based on a technical evaluation of the concept. The Pahl and Beitz design method became a theoretical reference in finalizing the design of the granular fertilizer spreader form. Working drawings are prepared based on ISO standards using Solidwork 2018 software.     Effect of Presence of Ammonia in Aqueous Solution on Urea Adsorption Capacity Using Porous Carbon

    Urea is the main source of nitrogen for plants. Conventional urea fertilizer is made by reacting ammonia and carbon dioxide. Wastewater produced by urea fertilizer plants usually contains urea and ammonia in high concentrations. In each m3 of wastewater urea content can reach 650 - 4000 ppm and ammonia amounting to 100 - 1300 ppm. The disposal of wastewater that still contains urea and ammonia with high levels can cause eutrophication in waters which is very detrimental to aquatic organisms. The uptake of urea in the urea fertilizer plant wastewater is an interesting study because it can provide a double benefit of reducing the concentration of urea in wastewater so that it can meet environmental quality standards that are environmentally friendly and obtain cheap urea fertilizer for plants. This study aims to determine the adsorption capacity of urea with porous carbon if there is ammonia in the liquid. Porous carbon is made from pyrolysis of coconut shell which is oxidized with sulfuric acid. The oxidation process is carried out by heating porous carbon which is immersed in a 50% w/w sulfuric acid solution at 90oC for 2 hours. The adsorption process is carried out at room temperature with an initial concentration of urea between 500 - 8000 ppm in a solution of urea-ammonia as a simulated liquid. The results showed that the urea adsorption capacity increased significantly in urea-ammonia solution compared to urea solution with an increase of 41%. The capacity of urea adsorption in urea-ammonia solution is 27 - 444 mg urea / g carbon

    Analisa Terjadinya Electrical Treeing Pada Isolator Komposit dengan Bahan Pengisi Serat Pelepah Nipah

    Technological developments in materials are increasingly evolving, one form of development is the type of composite insulation. One of the natural fiber composites currently available is a composite from palm fiber which provides increased dielectric strength. Partial discharge due to voids in the composite results in structures such as electrical treeing due to changes in the properties and morphology of the composite causing increased insulation failure and disrupting power distribution. This research tested the strength of Epoxy composite insulation and palm leaf ash filler. By combining these two materials, a complementary composite insulating material will be formed to prevent electrical treeing. The results of the research show that the composite insulating material with nipa palm fiber as filler has an average breakdown voltage value of 40 kV and is above the standard breakdown voltage value for medium voltage insulators of 30 kV. The addition of more and more palm leaf ash filling material will produce voids, thereby accelerating the occurrence of electrical treeing and decreasing the breakdown voltage of the insulation. &nbsp

    Telemedicine is a healthcare service that utilizes information and communication technology to offer virtual medical services, eliminating the need for the physical presence of patients and medical professionals in a single location. The development of telemedicine enhances the accessibility of healthcare services, helps overcome constraints of time and resources, and can reduce healthcare service costs. Consultation services at UPT Puskesmas Tirto Kota Pekalongan are still manual and have not fully optimized the use of technology. The process of meeting the needs for consultations with doctors requires a direct visit to the health center, resulting in a significant use of time and resources. Therefore, a website-based system is needed as a platform to provide easy and practical online telemedicine consultation services. This research employs the prototyping development method, allowing users to participate by evaluating and providing feedback during the development process. System testing using Blackbox and User Acceptance Test (UAT) shows a user satisfaction percentage of 89.6%, indicating that the majority of users strongly agree with the developed website. The development of this website is expected to facilitate users and medical personnel in conducting online consultations anywhere and anytime without the need to visit the health center

    Optimal lighting and air conditioning are factors that support the feasibility and comfort of a room. Lighting and air conditioning requirements refer to the provisions contained in the Indonesian National Standard (SNI). The selection of lamps for lighting, Air Conditioner (AC) and Exhaust Fan for air conditioning needs to be adjusted to the needs of the room so that the device can work optimally and efficient electrical energy. The design of lighting needs and room temperature comfort is still done manually, resulting in inefficiency in the building design process. Therefore, this research aims to build an Android application to calculate indoor lighting and air conditioning needs. This research methodology includes identifying lux value standards, room position, and air exchange standards based on room type. Furthermore, an Android application is created that can calculate the need for lamp brightness and air conditions according to the applicable formula. The calculation results are displayed on an Android application that can be operated via a smart phone. This application was tested in several types of rooms with different conditions. The calculation results on the application are compared with manual calculations and proven to be accurate. This research has successfully created an Android application that can help users to design lighting and air conditioning needs efficiently and effectively

    Technological developments increasingly require humans to increase their competence and innovation. The process of making frames for electric cars is one of the innovations to produce a strong frame. The frame is the main and important part of a vehicle, because the components and passengers will support the frame. The connection between frame components uses GMAW welding, which is the process of joining metal materials by heating them until they reach their melting point. To obtain a frame that meets the criteria, it is necessary to carry out a testing process, this testing process is NDT testing (Non Destructive Test), namely testing the physical part of the material in a way that does not damage the test object. Meanwhile, the aim of this research is to inspect the electric car frame so as to find discontinuities in the GMAW welding results. The results of this research were that there were 22 samples that underwent the liquid penetrant test process, of the total samples according to ASME Section VIII Division 1 Mandatory Appendix 6 there were 14 specimens that were acceptable while 8 needed improvement in the connection process.     Penyusunan Model Prediksi Konsumsi Energi pada Mesin CNC Milling untuk Mencapai Pemesinan Hijau

    CNC Milling Machine is a machine tool that has a large population but low energy efficiency. The machine tool industry consumes about 10% of the national energy, making it the second largest energy user after transportation sector. To obtain efficient machine performance, the motion in the machining process must be controlled by setting the proper machining parameters. However, there is a contradiction in that CAD/CAM operators and programmers often do not understand the impact of such parameter settings and thus determine parameter values arbitrarily. This study aims to optimize machining parameter settings by providing parameter values proven to have energy-friendly performance. The method used in this research is regression-based response surface methodology. Based on numerical simulations and experiments conducted, variations in feed rate and depth of cut were shown to impact energy consumption significantly. Experiments and tests reduced the energy consumption value below 5A for 78% of the total process.Mesin CNC Milling merupakan mesin perkakas yang memiliki populasi besar tetapi efisiensi energi rendah. Industri mesin perkakas mengonsumsi sekitar 10% dari total energi nasional, menjadikan industri ini sebagai pengguna energi terbesar kedua setelah sektor transportasi. Untuk mendapatkan kinerja mesin yang efisien, gerakan pada proses pemesinan harus dikontrol dengan mengatur parameter pemesinan yang tepat. Namun, terdapat kontradiksi di mana operator dan programmer CAD/CAM seringkali tidak memahami dampak pengaturan parameter tersebut sehingga menentukan nilai parameter secara sembarangan. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengoptimalkan pengaturan parameter pemesinan dengan menyediakan nilai parameter yang terbukti memiliki kinerja ramah energi. Metode yang digunakan dalam penelitian ini adalah regresi berbasis response surface methodology. Berdasarkan simulasi numerik dan eksperimen yang dilakukan, variasi laju pemakanan dan kedalaman pemakanan terbukti memiliki dampak positif yang signifikan terhadap konsumsi energi. Eksperimen dan pengujian berhasil menurunkan nilai konsumsi energi di bawah 5A untuk 78% dari total proses. &nbsp

    Usulan Pengelolaan Sampah di Kelurahan Margasari Kota Bandung Menggunakan Pemodelan Dinamika Sistem

    Kelurahan Margasari  in Bandung West Java, located at Jalan Cipagalo Girang No. 9. Covering an area of 272.18 hectares, Margasari is the largest kelurahan in the kecamatan Buah Batu, accounting for 37% of its total area. Margasari is among the kelurahan that generate substantial waste, originating from household and business activities. The research aims to identify waste flow in kelurahan Margasari and propose waste management strategies to reduce waste generation based on system dynamics simulation results. A quantitative approach employing system dynamics methodology is utilized. Simulations encompass three scenarios: Scenario 1 represents the baseline, Scenario 2 involves waste sorting  with 100% organic waste recycling and proportional distribution of inorganic waste, while Scenario 3 incorporates waste sorting  with 100% organic waste remaining untreated and 100% inorganic waste processed. Over a 1,000-day simulation period, Scenario 3 exhibits the lowest waste amount deposited in the landfill, totaling 4,813.28 kg/day. This reduction is attributed to the full segregation of inorganic waste. Thus, maximizing waste sorting  in kelurahan Margasari proves to be the most effective approach in minimizing landfill waste. Model validation confirms the applicability of system dynamics in analyzing interrelated factors crucial for sustainable waste management planningKelurahan Margasari berlokasi di Jawa Barat, Indonesia yang beralamat di Jalan Cipagalo Girang No. 9. Kelurahan ini memiliki luas 272,18 hektar, Margasari merupakan kelurahan terluas di Kecamatan Buah Batu sebesar 37%. Kelurahan Margasari termasuk salah satu Kelurahan yang menghasilkan banyak timbulan sampah yang berasal dari 2 kegiatan yaitu rumah tangga dan bisnis. Tujuan dari penelitian ini untuk mengidentifikasi aliran sampah di Kelurahan Margasari serta merancang usulan pengelolaan sampah untuk mengurangi jumlah timbulan sampah di Kelurahan Margasari berdasarkan hasil simulasi dinamika sistem. Metode yang digunakan adalah kuantitatif dengan pendekatan dinamika sistem. Simulasi dilakukan terhadap 3 skenario yaitu skenario 1 yang merupakan skenario baseline atau keadaan nyata di lapangan, lalu skenario 2 yaitu terdapat pemilahan sampah dengan sampah organik 100% didaur ulang dan anorganik berdasarkan proporsi. Selanjutnya skenario 3 terdapat pemilahan sampah namun dengan jumlah sampah organik 100% tidak diolah dan anorganik 100% diolah. Berdasarkan hasil simulasi dilakukan selama 1.000 hari, perbandingan skenario jumlah sampah di TPA yang paling minimum adalah skenario 3 yaitu sebanyak 4.813,28 kg/hari. Jumlah sampah di TPA jauh berkurang karena pemilahan sampah yang dilakukan 100% dalam kategori anorganik. Hal ini menunjukan bahwa skenario yang paling efektif untuk membuat kurangnya timbulan sampah di TPA yaitu dengan memaksimalkan pemilahan sampah di Kelurahan Margasari. Dari validasi model terbukti bahwa dinamika sistem dapat diaplikasikan untuk menganalisis keterkaitan berbagai macam faktor yang perlu dipertimbangkan dalam proses perencanaan untuk mencapai pengelolaan sampah yang berkelanjutan
