Organization and marketing of a music festival with the goal of improving tourism in continental Croatia - on the example of Ferragosto Jam
They usually take place over a period of time, encompassing multiple concerts or performances of different musical genres and performers. Music festivals provide a platform for performers to present their work to an audience, while at the same time providing visitors with an experience of diverse music, atmosphere and community. These festivals often combine music with other artistic expressions, such as dance, performance, visual arts and cultural activities, creating a complete experience. There are numerous types of music festivals, and they differ from each other to the greatest extent according to the music genre. The paper presents a brief overview of music festivals, from their appearance in antiquity to popular music festivals in their present form. Good organization and promotion of music festivals are key to attracting audiences, creating a positive experience, ensuring safety, building the festival's brand, and contributing to the local community and tourism. This is also confirmed by research conducted to examine public attitudes about the impact of music festivals on tourism in Croatia, on the basis of which it was concluded that the majority of respondents believe that music festivals can have a positive impact on tourism in Croatia in general, and in particular on the destination where the festival is held

Religion and Society: Christianity in Contemporary Culture
The concept of religion has been a subject of study in the natural sciences and social sciences for centuries. Religion is considered a phenomenon that influences all spheres of human life. As a social phenomenon that strongly affects the development of culture, thinking, and behavior, it is considered a necessary element of human existence. Religion is quite a complex term that can be defined in numerous ways, depending on the function and observed role. This final paper aims to present plainly and concisely all that is essentially related to the very concept of religion. Different definitions of the mentioned term are shown, depending on the research approach, with special remarks on the areas of sociology and psychology of religions. The paper summarizes theories of the conception and development of religion along with fundamental terms closely related to it. In conclusion, the thesis reflects on Christianity, which has found itself in the whirlpool of the modern world and the age of secularization
Emil Cosseto: Kraljevo
Emil Cossetto is croatian composer, conductor and music pedagogue. In his compositions he used texts from various poets and so used texts from Miroslav Krleža. His most famous compositions are Balade Petrice Kerempuha although at the end of his life he also composed two operas also based on Krleža's plays: Kristofor Kolumbo and Kraljevo. Kraljevo is one act devided to VII scenes. Plot is set in Zagreb in 20th century in time of Kings fair where various people of different social class meet. In opera there are many interesting characters and musical themes. While opera was never performed, culturally and musically it has an improtant role in croatian music. Because of lack of availability of some information, more is learned about Emil Cossetto from an interview with his daughter Nina Cossetto
Comparative analysis of the design process according to prominent design methods
Design thinking involves a problem-solving approach focused on understanding users, questioning assumptions, and generating innovative solutions. The main goal is to develop empathy towards the target audience and consider their perspectives. Design thinking is particularly useful for solving ill-defined problems, generating ideas, prototyping, and continuous experimentation. On the other hand, design sprints are intensive five-day processes that use user-centered teams to tackle design problems. They can be used at different stages of project development, either to drive innovation in the early stages or to explore new opportunities midway through project development. The research conducted for the purposes of this paper aims to examine and compare design thinking and the Design Sprint. Three hypotheses were formulated during the research. The first hypothesis explored the prevalence of design thinking as the primary process in design work among designers. The second hypothesis investigated the effectiveness of usability testing as the most efficient method for design validation. The third hypothesis focused on designers' assessment of the importance of all design methods and their actual application in their daily design processes
Gender differences in cyberbullying among college students
The purpose of this study was to examine the prevalence and gender differences in the prevalence of cybervictimization and cyberperpetration and their forms among university students, and to examine the relationship, as well as gender and age differences in the relationship between cybervictimization and cyberperpetration. In addition, the study examined gender differences in the modes of communication in which cybervictimization occurs, and differences in the gender of the cyberaggressor as reported by students. Gender differences in the reactions victims display against cyberbullying and in the roles of cyberbystanders were also examined. The research was conducted on a sample of Croatian students aged 18–29 years using an online survey. A total of 256 respondents (178 female and 78 male students) participated in the study. According to the results, the overall prevalence of cybervictimization was 49.2% and that of cyberperpetration was 23.8%, with the prevalence rates for severe cybervictimization and cyberperpetration being 10.2% and 1.6%, respectively. Overall, 45.8% of the respondents had been involved in cyberbullying, either as a victim, perpetrator, or both, with the exception of cyberbystanders, out of which 58.2% had been involved. The most common forms of cyberbullying were insults and spreading rumours. There were no statistically significant gender differences in the overall prevalence of cybervictimization and cyberperpetration; however, the results suggest slightly higher involvement of male respondents in cyberperpetration at the individual item level. Results indicated a negative correlation between cybervictimization and age. A positive correlation was found between cybervictimization and cyberperpetration, with a stronger relationship observed among male participants. Both males and females indicated that their perpetrator was more often male. Gender differences were also found in cybervictimization in specific electronic environments, in responses to cybervictimization, and in the roles of cyberbystanders, with males more likely to participate as cyberbully assistants. Results suggest that cyberbullying is prevalent among Croatian university students and that gender, along with age, is an important variable that can contribute to a deeper understanding of the phenomenon. Scenography in the Genre: Two Vaudevilles by Georges Feydeau
Graduation thesis Scenography in the genre: two vaudevilles by Georges Feydeau consists of a set design for the theatre play that was performed as an exam for the 3rd year of undergraduate studies Acting and puppetry program, Academy of Arts and Culture in Osijek, and the conceptual scenic design of the play in a professional theater. This work encompasses the conception and realization of a no-budget scenography and the creation and realization of conceptual sketches and technical drawings applicable to a budgeted production. Above mentioned two vaudevilles by French master comedic playwright Georges Feydeau discuss, through the use of comedic plot, serious life, human and marital problems. Although they were created in the past century, these texts are still relevant today, speaking from the same perspective about the same problems almost 100 years later. Vaudeville as an art form first emerged in the 15th century, and throughout its history has appeared in various genres of theatre. Its greatest popularity vaudeville has achieved on stages of Parisian boulevard theatres. Vaudeville's popularity waxed and waned through history, and today the word „vaudeville” refers chiefly to a brand of frivolous, light-minded and entertaining comedy. As I couldn't fully satisfy my affinity towards creating a unique scenographic solution in the already realised scenography, after studying and researching the time period, the author, and the texts themselves, I conceived a conceptual scenic design, supported by sketches and technical drawings. The exam play was performed on the 10th of July, 2021, in the premises of the Academy of Arts and Culture in Osijek
