The Myth of Habituation in the Akananuru
The society of the Sangam age is an excellent cultural base. Customary practices represent the way of life of the Tamils two thousand years ago. The special customs and traditions found in society are called "cultures." All our ancient Tamil pieces of literature extol the cultural aspects of our forefathers. Akananuru is the repository that contains all the life, history, beliefs, and customs of the people of the Sangam age. Akananuru is an expression of myth. It is known that there were types of marriage where the man and the woman were married without the consent of the parents and with the consent of the parents in the marriage system. It is special that they got married on a good day. Young boys built sand houses and played ball games. They cheered and enjoyed playing Kuravai Koothu (an entertaining dance of females) and Thunangai Koothu (a religious dance of females). Tunangai Koothu was unique in that it was exclusively for women. Trades were divided based on the land. Apart from these, it can be known that there were many castes such as potters, carpenters, and paraiyars. Trading was one of our customs. Cultural Records of the Fishing Villagers in The Novel "Semmeen"
The coast of Kerala is dotted with small fishing villages. They are small villages inhabited by simple fishermen who have bonded with the sea in their lives. It is written by Thakazhi Sivasankara Pillai, a village story based on the lifestyle, culture, discipline, and faith of the people of such coastal villages. It was translated by Sundara Ramasamy. George Moore, a scholar, says that the novel is a great tool for the author to bring out the experiences he has discovered in his life. Due to poverty, Kolumban goes to Ezhimalai area and the situation where Kolumban is killed by his son Mylan due to political intrigues of the Panars who are engaged in gambling shows the disgrace of the Panar community. The purpose of this article is to study how poverty creates a killing environment in human society and how economic conditions change one's living conditions. By studying in this way, Panar society can be understood very subtly

Problems in Women's Lives in Perumal Murugan's Short Stories
Kongu regional-based literature types evolved because of R. Sanmmuga Sundaram. Further, another pioneer in this literature named Perumalmurugan has taken this to the next level. He has taken immense measures in order to bring down the socio-economically weaker women in the region. He is pointing out some of the reasons through his novels which act as a barrier to the growth of women is suppression from men, dowry, and child marriage. His novels reveal that even in the twentieth-century women leads sorrowful life. He described about how women is subjected to various unwanted situations such as poverty, dowry, suppression from men, and lack of responsible men. In Perumalmurugan’s novels, we could find that only a few women have undergone studies, otherwise, most women manage cattle and earn income through that. He also found that some older women resist the domination of men and live satisfactorily, and some women are accustomed to their men’s suppression. Women’s fiction points out modern-day women’s status. His distinction qualities are such as he exactly identified how socio-economic weaker women face various problems and how they affect their livelihoods.
