Diets of the Land-Based People in kalithogai
Food items that are essential for a person's basic survival are provided by nature. The fundamental necessities for a human being, such as food, clothing, and shelter, enable them to live without any food. However, it is a universal truth that without food, no one can survive. This fact is evident from the historical context, where ancient civilizations thrived based on the availability of food. Food, its name, and the types of food available in each region (Kurinji, Mullai, Marutham, Neithal and Paalai), as well as their benefits for the human body, are essential aspects to be explored in this essa

Foods and Medicinal Properties of Weaving Ground: A Scientific Overview
The ancient Tamil sages lived a prosperous life in the natural way and set the path for their successors to follow. Ancient Tamil Nadu divided them into five categories based on usage. The sea and the sea-related land were given to the Bharatavars , Bharatiyas, 'Umanar' as weaving land was concerned. They were engaged in industries like fishing, salt trading, pearl fishing. Salt is essential, the right amount of salt is necessary for the 'electrolyte balance' - water balance in the body. Marine chemicals like seaweed phlorotannin, glaminarin, fucoidan have anti-obesity, imino-stimulatory and anti-hypertensive effects. Horny sharks are rich in vitamin A and various other nutrients that provide nutrients to the body. In the novel Kunnimuthu, the author has also described the medicinal properties of marine fishes and native fishes. Omega-3 fatty acids, which are not found in any other food, can protect us from asthma and heart disease. Pearl, coral, and conch can cure various ailments. Seaweed and marine foods increase the food chain and help end hunger and food insecurity. It helps achieve SDG 12 and SDG 14
Cultivation and food shown by Sivaprakasar
An anthropologist who writes the history of mankind would have first thought of how the human race would have started to produce food in the ancient times. When man began to learn agricultural techniques for food, his culture underwent a great upheaval. Mankind may have reached the period of civilized agriculture when the land was cultivated and produced through proper tillage. Then food gathering became a business. After learning to write about those activities and the plowing tools required for farming, man began to record them in literature. Imaginary Repository Sivaprakasar AD Vira was a Saivite saint who lived in the 17th century. He appeared in Kanchipuram and has authored 33 books in Tamil. His books are known as Sivaprakasa Swamikal Banuval Akrutu. In one of the songs he composed, he imagined the Gods conversing about the agricultural industry which is the basis of food production. He composed the song as if Umayammi was giving advice to Pitchatanar, one of Shiva's arul kolams. This song explains how Shivabran and Umaiyan explore how to start food production by using the weapons and objects of other deities as agricultural tools like land, seed paddy, plough, dice, fat and yoke
Non-Vegetarian in the Sangathamiz Diet
Mankind's search for food led to their cultural development. This is what is called "Undi Mudatele Ulagu". The food culture found in the Sangha literature is a testimony to the cultural development of the Tamils. The reference to "food" in the literature is surprising. It means "Groundwater is the food." This understanding is very, very subtle and very surprising. The Tamils had the understanding that the essence of every food depended on land and water even during the period of Sangha literature. Also, eating is not a physical need but a social activity in the Sangam period. The priority given to serving food to the guests and the prominence given to food in family and village events at that time show the social aspect of food. And giving man food for life was seen as highly commendable. The words "those who give food give life" sum it up. Thus the purpose of this article is to introduce the importance given to non-vegetarian food by the Sangam people
Feminism in Five Great Epics
Our ancient Tamil writers composed epics with the aim that human life should be regulated based on the four principles of virtue, materiality, pleasure and home. Considering this, it is worth bearing in mind that the later grammar book Thandiyalankaram has clearly defined the grammar for epics. Although epics don't portray the reality but it has been teaching our Tamil people about life for many generations. Those who follow it are living a moral life. It is not necessary to follow the words of the epics exactly in all situations. Before following it is always better to analyse all these questions Why? For what? Will it not harm any living being? Women fill themselves with love and family as the undiminished Akshaya vessel of the penitent daughter of Tamil Thailand. They are walking on the path of society. The purpose of this article is to examine the way in which Five Great Epics of Tamil have made assessments about such women's in society

Identities of Transgender People in Ancient Tamil Literature
In human society, it is natural to see two genders, male and female. It is somewhat surprising that the work of transgender people, who can be called the third gender, is somewhat surprising. In the Mahabharatam, the story of the birth of a transsexual is extended. In nature's creation, we find these people incarnated as transsexuals in practical life. The records of transgenders can be found in abundance in Sangam literary grammar. Transgender people, who have been marginalized in society, are denied the right to participate in public. Transgenders living in small groups in the human community have been ridiculed as "identityless." This is the situation today. In the Sangam literary records, their identity has been recognized socially. It can be said that their contribution to the level of education is low. Transgenders, who are marginalized people, are more likely to be rejected at all levels. Since they lacked the right to education, there was no context in grammatical and literary fiction in which the pedis (hermaphrodites), the transgenders, could register their right to life. No one comes forward to help in public, fearing that if they raise their voice for them, they will be respected as untouchables in society. This denial is also a contemporary phenomenon. As a result, it is necessary to compile how third-gender identities are recorded in the literary field. Transgenders, also known as hermaphrodites, exist as records in literary life. The location of such people's lives is clearly visible in grammatical and literary fiction
National Ethnic Problem in Foreign Tamil Magazines
Tamils have been constantly trying and struggling to maintain their presence in foreign countries. They published a large number of Tamil magazines in the countries they went to. When they try to connect with the political and socioeconomic environment there, they sometimes encounter a compatible environment, and many times they do not. Tamils, who have their own identity, are subjected to various forms of ethnic problems in the neighbourhood even after migrating due to the war situation in their motherland. As hard as it is for immigrants to maintain their presence in foreign countries, it is as difficult to live through the national oppressions there and unite the Tamils there. They have started magazines, one of the artistic activities of the Tamil people, and are also using it as a platform to bring together the global Tamils and bring the problems faced there to the world. This article brings to light the lives of foreign Tamils by bringing out the foreign Tamil journals, which are constantly recording the memories of their motherland where they have escaped to foreign countries and are unable to lead a free life
