Factors affecting expression of estrus in dairy cows with high milk yields
The objectives of this study were to define the effect of the milk progesterone (P4) concentration on estrus expression in dairy cows with high milk yield and to identify the effect of milk yield and parity on the milk P4 concentration and cow’s pregnancy after artificial insemination (AI). In this study, 48 clinically healthy cows without reproduction disorders, on day 90-100 after calving were used. At the beginning of estrus and 12 hours after the beginning of estrus, the milk P4 concentration in dairy cows with high milk yield (group 3) was higher than in group 2 (33.66; 22.36%) and in group 1 (51.60; 65.26%) (P 0.05) and the first (28.28%; P < 0.01) lactation ones (28.28%; P < 0.01). The milk P4 concentration at the beginning of estrus and 12 hours after the beginning of estrus in pregnant and non-pregnant cows was 2.58 and 3.32; 4.20 and 5.00 ng/ml, respectively (P < 0.001). As a result, it was concluded that high progesterone concentration affected the expression of estrus and pregnancy results in dairy cows, and the measuring of progesterone concentration in milk can be used as a non-invasive method to provide detailed information about fertility in high milk yield cows
MÜŞKİL VE MÜTEŞÂBİH HADİSLERİ YORUMLAMA İLKELERİ: İBN FÛREK ÖRNEĞİ
Yüce Allah, Kur’an-ı Kerim’de kendisi için, “O’nun misli/benzeri hiçbir şey yoktur” (Şûrâ, 42/11) “Hiçbir şey O’na denk ve benzer değildir” (İhlâs, 112/4) buyurduğu için ilk dönemden beri haberî sıfatlara dair müşkil ve müteşeâbih rivayetler, âlimlerin zihnini meşgul etmiştir. Onlar nezdinde anlaşılması en zor rivayetlerin bunlar olduğu söylenebilir.
Bu rivayetlerin nasıl anlaşılması gerektiği, aynı zamanda Ehl-i Sünnet ile Ehl-i Bid’at’in ihtilafa düştüğü önemli konulardan birisidir. Ehl-i Sünnet âlimlerine göre Ehl-i Bid’at, bu rivayetleri ya hepten reddetmiş ya da hakiki manalar vermek suretiyle Allah hakkında teşbih ve tecsîme düşmüştür. İki yaklaşımı da yanlış gören Ehl-i Sünnet âlimleri de bu rivayetlere iki şekilde yaklaşmıştır. Bir kısmı rivayetlerin te’vil edilmesine karşı çıkıp onları olduğu gibi kabul ederken, diğer kısmı Allah’ın zat ve sıfatlarına yakışır yorumlar getirmeyi uygun görmüştür. Dördüncü asrın önemli âlimlerinden biri olan İbn Fûrek, ikinci görüşün daha isabetli olduğuna inanmış ve “Müşkilü’l-Hadîs ve Beyânüh” adlı eserini bu anlayışla kaleme almıştır. O, eserinde anlaşılmaları zor birçok müşkil ve müteşâbih hadisi, Kur’an’ı Kerim’in muhkem ayetleri doğrultusunda te’vîl ederek, teşbih ve tecsîm inancının önüne geçmeye çalışmıştır.
Bu çalışmada İbn Fûrek’in, hayatı ve eseri hakkında bilgi verildikten sonra, onun müşkil ve müteşâbih rivayetleri yorumlama ilkeleri tespit edilmeye çalışılmıştır
Characterizing Spatial Variability of Soil Properties in Tigris Basin Using Geostatistics and Geographical Information Systems
Assessment, evaluation and mapping of the spatial characteristics of soil properties are crucial to ensure the sustainability of plant production and the development of appropriate management practices in the areas of intensive agricultural production. In this study, some physical and chemical soil characteristics of Dicle Basin, where most of the water reserves of our country are located, and large irrigation projects are taking place, were determined and spatial distributions are modeled and mapped. One hundred seventy-five soil samples from Diyarbakır and Siirt provinces were collected from 0-20 cm depth at approximate corners of each 5 x 5 km grids. Coverage of study area was 4.341 km2 . In order to make a more accurate estimation of the changes of soil properties at distances shorter than 5 km, 33 soil samples were taken at 250 m, 750 m and 1750 m distances between two consecutive grid points. Soil samples were analyzed for texture (sand, clay and silt contents), organic matter (OM), lime content, soil reaction (pH), electrical conductivity (EC), available phosphorus and extractable potassium (K). The modeling of spatial variability allowed to predict the soil characteristics of locations that were not sampled and spatial distribution maps was created. The lowest variability in the study area was found for pH (CV=3.9%) and the highest variability was on available phosphorus (CV=137.8%) concentration. The highest range value was obtained for EC (135.4 km) while the smallest range value was obtained for pH (4.74 km). The soil maps where the lowest and highest values of each soil characteristic can be easily detected are extremely useful to determine appropriate management methods, remediate problems and optimize the use of inputs
SEED MUCILAGE CONTENT IN AETHIONEMA W.T. AITON SPECIES AND THEIR SIGNIFICANCE IN SYSTEMATIC AND ECOLOGICAL ASPECTS
The seeds of the seven Aethionema taxa, namely A. syriacum (Boiss.) Bornm., A. froedinii Rech., A. arabicum (L.) Andrz. ex DC., A. speciosum Boiss. et Huet. subsp. speciosum, A. saxatile (L.) R. Br., A. armenum Boiss. and A. grandiflorum Boiss. et Hohen. were found to have mucilage cells on the surface, and they produce a slippery liquid during hydration. The mucilage in the examined taxa consisted of the pectin or cellulose. Mucilage cells were found to have different anatomical layers in seeds. Moreover, there were differences in columellae shapes in Aethionema taxa, which are prominent, flattened or reduced shapes. In addition, soil adhesion capacities of the taxa ranged from 28 to 356 mg. The presence of mucilage can play a key role in seed dispersion and colonization for the new habitat in Aethionema taxa

Cümlenin kuruluşunda yüklem/fiil ana unsur olarak görev alır. Cümlede tek yüklem yer
alırken birden fazla isim bulunabilir, bu isimlerin semantik görevleri nasıl belirlenecek ve
bu görevleri gösteren morfolojik işaretlemeler dilin hangi kuralları çerçevesinde yapılacak-
tır? Her fiilin isimleri görevlendirme/yönetme alanı farklılık gösterir, kimi fiiller yönetme
alanında sadece bir isimle yetinirken diğerleri farklı görevlerde çok sayıda ismi yönetir. İşte
fiilin yönetim kümesinde yer alan veya alabilen (valency) bu isimler, cümlede farklı morfo-
lojik işaretlemeler, belirli yer tutuşlar (konu, topic), taşıma vb. diğer dil uygulamaları ile
cümlenin görevli unsurları olarak iletişimi sağlamada üzerlerine düşen görevi yapacaklardır.
Cümlede fiilin yönetim kümesi, her zaman sorunsuz olarak gramerlik işaretlemelerle uyu-
şan bir halde bulunmayabilir. Böyle durumlarda anlamda belirsizlik veya birden fazla yo-
rum ve okuma söz konusu olacaktır. İletişim aracı olan dil, elindeki çeşitli vasıtalarla anlam
belirsizliğini ortadan kaldırma imkânına sahip olsa da zaman zaman anlamı muğlak olan ve
birden fazla yoruma açık cümlelerin kullanıma çıkması olağandır. Dilde ve bizi ilgilendiren
Türkçe dil bilgisinde, anlamla ve analizle ilgili olarak ortaya çıkan belirsizlikleri bertaraf
edebilmek için bu çalışmada, fiilin yönetim/görev kümesi (valency), öznenin morfolojik ve
söz dizimsel işaretlemeleri problemini ele almak istiyoruz. Cümlede konu (topic) terimi ile
özne arasındaki ilişki, bunların anlam ve görevle bağlantılı olarak sınırları, benzerlik ve
farklılıkları ele alacağımız diğer hususlardır. Çalışmamız, Türkçe ve diğer dillerde, ilgili
meseleleri, karşılaştırmalı ve üretici gramer teorileri çerçevelerinde ele alacaktır
Determination of the Direct Effect of Foreign Capital Investments to Istanbul Stock Exchange
Bu çalışmada Doğrudan Yabancı Sermaye Yatırımlarının (DYSY) BIST100 Endeksine etkisi incelenmiştir. Analizde BIST100 Endeksi bağımlı değişken olarak, Doğrudan Yabancı Sermaye Yatırımları ise bağımsız değişken olarak kullanılmıştır. Öncelikle değişkenler arasındaki eşbütünleşme ilişkisini belirlemek için, Ocak-2010 - Ocak-2018 dönemine ait aylık verilerle, ARDL Sınır Testi uygulanmış ve değişkenler arasında eşbütünleşme ilişkisi olmadığı tespit edilmiştir. Daha sonra değişkenler arasındaki nedensellik ilişkisi Granger Nedensellik testi ile araştırılmış ve benzer şekilde herhangi bir nedensellik ilişkisi olmadığı belirlenmiştir
Ortaokul Öğrencilerinin Merkezi Sınavlara İlişkin Metaforik Algıları
This study aims to represent metaphoric perceptions of students related to central examination applied
in transition to secondary school institutions. Within the study, the phenomenology approach from
qualitative research techniques was used. To collect data, a semi-structured interview form developed
by researchers was used. Data were collected from four secondary schools, two of which are in
Artuklu and the other two of which are in Kızıltepe, Mardin, and from 200 students who will take
central examination during 2017-18 school year. In analysing data, the content analysis technique was
used. İn the analyses made according to the content analysis, close metaphors were classified
separately and thematized with suitable names to contain all metaphors included in the groups. At the
end of the study, eight themes were found. These themes are “Stressful and challenging process”,
“Milestone in life”, “Uncertainty”, “Victim”, “Hope” “The nature of life”, “Teog Exam (Transition
from primary to secondary education)” and “Astonishment”. Among these “Stressful and challenging
process”, “Milestone in life”, “Uncertainty”, “Victim”, “Teog Exam (Transition from primary to
secondary education)” and “Astonishment” reflect a negative perception. In these themes there are 158
negative metaphors. Only “Hope” and “The nature of life” represent a positive perception with 29
positive metaphors. As a result, it is observed that metaphoric perceptions of students related to the
central examination is in general negative, yet perception of few students is positive. This perception
can be seen in metaphors developed related to examinations such as LGS, SBS, Teog, etc. conducted
previously for that purpose
Determination of elemental contents of Allıum ampheroprasum L. plant growıng in Eruh regıon Using ICP-MS
Allium L. (Soğan) cinsi yeryüzünde yaklaşık 850 taksona sahip olup Türkiye'de 179 (197 takson)
Allium türü mevcuttur (Keusgen ve ark., 2011; Güner ve ark., 2012). Birçok etnobotanik çalışmada
Allium türlerinin farklı amaçlarla kullanıldığı rapor edilmiştir. Genel olarak, Allium'un tüm bitki
kısımları insanlar tarafından tüketilebilmekte (tohumlar hariç) (Fritsch ve Friesen, 2002).
Bu çalışma kapsamında, Eruh’un yüksek kesimlerinden toplanan Allium ampeloprasum L.
bitkisinin element analizi ICP-MS ile yapılmıştır. Bu bitkide bulunan Li, B, Na, Mg, Al, P, K, Ca, Cr,

The antioxidant capacity, total phenolic content and phenolic compounds of Plantago coronopus L. subsp. coronopus in naturally distributed in Akdoğmuş-Siirt
Name probably for Plantago coronopus L.; in reference to the shape of basal leaves [1]. Plantago coronopus, commonly known as buckshorn banana (“diabelha” in Portugal), is a medical halophyte belonging to the Plantago L., the largest of the Plantaginaceae family [2]. Plantago will be those the vast majority paramount variety of the Plantaginaceae crew, What's more, will be utilized within customary prescription around the reality for separate purposes. Plantago coronopus L., Plantago major L., Plantago media L. also Plantago lanceolata L. would a large portion regularly utilized species of Plantago for a customary solution to turkey [3]. There would 28 taxa of the class Plantago did turkey and two of them are endemic [4]. In this study, extracts of Plantago coronopus L. subsp. the coronopus taxon was prepared with methanol (%80) solvent. Total phenolic contents were assessed by Folin Ciocalteau's method and were found as 32.66 mg gallic acid /mL extract. The antioxidant activity was determined by using DPPH methods as 87.26%. And also, the chemical composition of the phenolic compounds was determined with LC-MS/MS instrument. As a result, 12 phenolic compounds were quantitatively detect, among the 27 phenolic compounds analyzed. These; Quinic acid (618±29.66 mg g -1 ), Malic acid (809.88±42.92 mgg -1 ), tr-Aconitic acid (4.49±0.22 mgg -1 ), Gallic acid (2.73±0.14 mgg -1 ), Protocatechuic acid (24.11±1.73 mgg -1 ), Tannic acid (33.01±1.68 mg g -l ), tr-Coffeic acid (11.06±0.58 mg g -l ), Vanilin (9.18±0.45 mgg -1 ), p-Coumaric acid (61.16±3.12 mgg -1 ), Kaempferol (43.64±2.27 mgg -1 ), Luteolin (5.35±0.37 mgg -1 ) and Apigenin (8.27±0.44 mgg -1 ).Siirt Üniversitesi, BAP ( 2013-SIFED-F1
Effect of management system and dietary yeast autolysate on the performance, slaughter and carcass characteristics of partridges (Alectoris chukar)
This study was conducted to determine the effects of management system (a floor housing (FH) versus a free-range housing (FRH) system) and dietary yeast autolysate (Saccharomyces cerevisiae) (1% versus 2% dietary supplement) on the performance, slaughter and carcass characteristics of partridges (Alectoris chukar). A total of 480 (240 for each management system) one-day-old male partridge chicks were randomly allocated to a control group and the two dietary groups per production system, each containing 80 chicks. Each dietary group was then divided into five replicate groups of 16 chicks. The study lasted 112 days. In terms of growth performance, partridges reared under FRH management system had a lower average daily live weight gain (ADG), a significantly higher feed intake (FI), and feed conversion ratio (FCR) compared to the control group. However, partridges fed diets with yeast autolysate had a significantly higher ADG, lower FI, and an improved FCR compared to the control group overall. The gizzard, leg, and wing percentages of the partridges reared in the FRH system were found to be significantly higher than those of partridges reared in the FH system, while the breast and abdominal fat percentages were found to be lower. Dietary supplementation with yeast autolysate significantly increased the cold carcass yield and breast percentage when compared to the control group, while wing and abdominal fat percentages were decreased. In general, best performance was observed in the dietary supplementation group of 1% yeast autolysate in terms of growth and carcass parameters. When considering the fact that partridges are gamebirds, that housing poultry in cage production systems has been prohibited in recent years and that there are positive effects associated with using yeast autolysate as a prebiotic, it is recommended that a free-range production system should be used for partridge breeding, with the addition of 1% yeast autolysate to the diet of the birds
