Abstract. The Constitutional Court Decision Number 003/PUU-IV/2006, especially the interpretation of the explanation of Article 2 paragraph (1) of the Corruption Eradication Law relating to the nature of the material against the law, does not seem to be able to provide unity of understanding and even tends to be an instrument of uncertainty in law enforcement. Dualism of interpretation in academic discourse and ambivalence in court decisions on corruption cases are the real impact of this uncertainty. The passing of Law Number 1 of 2023 concerning the Criminal Code is a new starting point to discuss this matter again. Especially with the inclusion of articles that are core crimes of the Corruption Act and the provisions on laws that live in society into the new Criminal Code. By using doctrinal legal research, this article aims to answer an important question that arises, namely, after the existence of Law No. 1 of 2023 concerning the Criminal Code, which material tort (in a positive or negative sense) conceptually applies in the crime of corruption? The results showed that, in addition to accepting the use of the material tort in the negative sense, the new Criminal Code also accepts the use of the positive function of the material tort. Specifically related to the positive function, this is based on the formulation of Article 2 paragraph (1) of the Criminal Code. However, this provision cannot be used in corruption offenses in the Criminal Code. This is because the formulation of Article 2 paragraph (1) is only shown against minor criminal offenses. Therefore, it is not compatible for the crime of corruption, which in the structure of the Criminal Code is placed as an extraordinary crime

Tuberculosis remains a major public health issue in Indonesia, particularly in densely populated environments such as Islamic boarding schools. This community engagement program aimed to improve awareness, early detection, and prevention of tuberculosis through the “Healthy Adolescents Without TB” campaign at Hidayatulloh Al-Muhajirin Islamic Boarding School, Bangkalan. A total of 150 students participated in the activities, which implemented a participatory, faith-based health education model combining contextual learning, tuberculosis screening, and healthy behavior promotion. Interactive education sessions, audiovisual media, and testimonials from TB survivors significantly increased students’ understanding of disease prevention. Screening identified 13 students (8.6%) with chronic cough, 9 (6.0%) with weight loss, and 5 (3.3%) with night sweats, all referred for further evaluation at local health facilities. The integration of Islamic values into health messages enhanced cultural acceptance and motivated sustainable behavioral change. Overall, the program effectively strengthened adolescent health literacy and fostered active community participation, demonstrating that contextual, participatory, and faith-based education can serve as a replicable model to support Indonesia’s tuberculosis elimination strategy

Greenwashing practices are carried out by businesses with unsubstantiated sustainability claims. The purpose of this research is to analyze the regulatory framework for business obligations in achieving Indonesia's 2022 ENDC target and the legal consequences of greenwashing. The research uses normative methods, conceptual approaches, and legislation. Law 16/2016, the ratification of the Paris Agreement, is the legal basis for the state's obligation to reduce emissions. Presidential Regulation 98/2021, the legal basis for the state, divides obligations among businesses, making them essential actors in achieving Indonesia's ENDC target. Ministerial Regulation of the Environment and Forestry 21/2022, the legal basis, contains operational procedures for businesses in carrying out their obligations through the SRN-PPI emission data instrument. The legal consequences arising from greenwashing practices as a side effect of Indonesia's ENDC regulations include articles in each law on competition and consumer protection that direct action against businesses engaging in greenwashing. However, adjustments to legislation and institutions that guarantee the credibility and oversight of GHG emission data are needed. Abstrak. Driving Style, Psychological Well-being, and Road Safety Behavior of Drivers: A Critical Review

    No full text
Understanding the relationship between psychological well-being and driving style is essential for addressing public health issues related to road safety. Road accidents impose substantial economic, social, and emotional burdens. This review aims to (1) identify psychological and behavioral determinants of driving behavior, (2) explore how driving style moderates the link between psychological well-being and road safety behavior, and (3) evaluate interventions that promote safer driving outcomes. A systematic review of 30 empirical studies (20 international, 10 Indian) published between 2000 and 2025 was conducted using databases such as PubMed, Scopus, Google Scholar, ScienceDirect, and ResearchGate. Studies were selected based on relevance, empirical rigor, and focus on psychological factors in driving. The review was framed using the Theory of Planned Behavior and the Stress-Strain Model. Findings reveal that psychological distress (e.g., stress, fatigue) contributes to aggressive and risky driving, while higher well-being correlates with defensive, safer driving styles and improved risk perception. Defensive driving mitigates the adverse impact of poor mental health on behavior. Promising interventions include stress management training, psychological education, and real-time driver feedback systems. Future research should focus on culturally adapted, evidence-based interventions targeting high-risk groups, supporting integration of psychological screening and mental health strategies into driver education and road safety policy

Academic Motivation and Social Support as Predictors of College Readiness in Post-Pandemic Students

College readiness refers to students' ability to successfully transition to higher education without requiring remedial coursework. However, the COVID-19 pandemic has introduced new policies in the education sector, particularly the widespread implementation of online learning across all educational levels. This shift has led to limited interaction between students and teachers, negatively affecting students' college readiness. This study aims to investigate the relationship between academic motivation and social support on college readiness in the post-COVID-19 context. A total of 294 respondents participated in this study by completing a questionnaire. The instruments used include the CAYCI Career and College Readiness Scale, the Academic Motivation Scale (AMS), and the Multidimensional Scale of Perceived Social Support (MSPSS). Data were analyzed using linear regression with JAMOVI software version 2.5.3. The results show a significant relationship between academic motivation and social support with college readiness (p 0.001). Consequently, the null hypothesis is rejected. To promote optimal college readiness, it is recommended that schools implement specialized programs focused on college preparation, such as regular academic tutoring, independent learning skills training, and mentoring activities can be implemented as external support mechanisms to strengthen students’ college readiness. Future research should also examine additional factors influencing college readiness among students
