The majority of building energy utilization worldwide is related to HVAC (Heating, Ventilation, and Air-Conditioning) systems. Eighty percent of the energy produced in Saudi Arabia is used by buildings, and since 70\% of that energy is used for ventilation, air conditioning accounts for roughly 50\% of the nation’s electrical use. This study reviewed and compared much research that used various AI-based forecasting algorithms. Specifically, the study explored the potential of passive and active cooling methods and intelligent system designs and used this analysis to develop a hybrid model that combined AI-based forecasting with active/passive approaches for optimal energy savings. The study evaluated the feasibility and cost-effectiveness of an AI- based forecasting model for HVAC energy reduction in Saudi Arabian buildings. The study developed a hybrid model that combined AI-based forecasting with passive and active cooling methods and intelligent system designs for optimal energy savings. Recommendations were provided for implementing and maintaining such a system to contribute to the development of sustainable and energy-efficient buildings and advance the field of AI-based forecasting for HVAC energy reduction

The Penal Protection of Invention According to the Jordanian Patent Law

    No full text
Patent Law No. (32) of 1999 specifically protects the right to a patent through Article 32 of the same law. Therefore, this study is divided into two sections. The first section deals with patent crimes. Article 32 specifies that cases of assault on the invention subject to the patent are limited to three crimes: the crime of imitating the invention, the crime of dealing with counterfeit products, and the crime of misleading data. Each crime has its own elements. The second section is devoted to the study of the penalties prescribed for violations of the patent law. The penalties include imprisonment for a period of not less than three months and not more than one year, or a fine of not less than one hundred dinars and not more than three thousand dinars, or both penalties. Confiscation and destruction of counterfeit products may also occur. The Jordanian legislator has equated sanctions for all patent-related crimes on one hand, and on the other hand has equated the penalties between the principal offender and the accomplice in these crimes. Additionally, the law treats the actor, partner, instigator, and intermediary similarly in terms of criminalization. The jurisdiction over these crimes falls under the Magistrate\u27s Court

The Poetics of Color in the Poetry of Al-Sanoubari

    No full text
At the beginning, there was essentially no discrepancy between poetry and prose. Poems were merely rhythmic words used to guide camels, devoid of any ambiguity or complexity, making it easy for readers to grasp their content. However, over time, the concepts within poetry expanded, and their rhythm and meter multiplied. As a result, their clarity and simplicity were diminished. Poets exerted their utmost effort, often spending a year or more refining their poems to elevate them to high ranks of elegance and glory. Color and its various types became one of the best methods poets employed to enhance their works. Meanwhile, Al-Sanoubari specialized in using this artistic element in his poetry. This study examines how Al-Sanoubari utilized color in his poems to symbolize and enrich his work both aesthetically and meaningfully. This high level of application in his poetry was influenced by the colorful, multi-faceted environment in which he was raised, fostering his interest in painting and the visual arts. The goal of this study is to analyze the appearance of color and the tools used in Al-Sanoubari\u27s works. It employed methods of analysis, description, and statistics to explore color concepts and terminology. The colors in Al-Sanoubari’s works are akin to a painter’s palette, as if he intended to design his poetic creations as a beautiful landscape filled with flowers, colors, and trees through which streams flow. He successfully wove colors into his poetry, allowing his imagination to shine. He emphasized the vibrancy of colors and their meanings to capture the reader\u27s attention to the fullest extent. As we appreciate the poet’s imagery and figures, we observe that he frequently utilized the colors white, red, green, yellow, black, and blue respectively
