TERMINOLOGI BAHASA LOURA DALAM RANAH SOSIAL PADA MASYARAKAT SUKU SUMBA DI DESA RAMADANA KECAMATAN LOURA KABUPATEN SUMBA BARAT DAYA
Pembiasaan penggunaan bahasa pada masyarakat suku Sumba, salah satunya dapat diamati dalam ranah sosial. Penggunaan bahasa suku Sumba dalam ranah sosial terdapat sistem warisan budaya yang memiliki nilai-nilai, seperti nilai pendidikan, religi, ekonomi, sosial. Penelitian ini mengkaji tentang bentuk dan makna, konteks pemakaian serta nilai-nilai bahasa Loura pada masyarakat suku Sumba di desa Ramadana kecamatan Loura kabupaten Sumba Barat Daya. Terminologi bahasa Loura dalam ranah sosial ditemukan istilah-istilah atau kata-kata yang berhubungan dengan konteks sosial yang dilakukan oleh masyarakat suku Sumba. Metode pengumpulan data yang digunakan, yaitu metode simak dan metode cakap. Metode penganalisisan data selanjutnya menggunakan metode padan dengan teknik hubung banding menyamakan dan hubung banding membedakan. Hasil penelitian ini secara langsung ataupun tidak langsung berpotensi untuk pengembangan kosakata bahasa Indonesia. PENGARUH PENGALAMAN GURU DAN KEPEMIMPINAN KEPALA SEKOLAH TERHADAP KINERJA GURU
Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk meneneliti perihal: (1) pengaruh pengalaman guru terhadap kinerja guru. (2) pengaruh kepemimpinan kepala sekolah terhadap kinerja guru sekecamatan Wawo, Bima, NTB. Populasi dari penelitian ini mencakup seluruh guru yang berstatus PNS sebanyak 153 guru di Kecamatan Wawo Kabupaten Bima. 110 guru diambil secara acak menggunakan teknik “sampel acak”. Data dari penelitian diambil dengan menggunakan uji instrumen dengan menyebarkan kuisioner. Uji instrumen diberikan kepada 25 guru diluar dari sampel guru yang sudah diambil, dan koofisien reabilitas dari pengalaman guru sebesar rtt = 0,897; Kpemimpinan kepala sekolah sebesar rtt = 0,941 dan kinerja guru sebesar rtt=0,885. Analisa data yang digunakan dalam penelitian ini adalah analisa kuantitatif deskriptif, analisis regresi linier berganda dan analisis korelasi parsial. Software komputer dipakai untuk menguji keakuratan data. Dari penelitian ini, dapat disimpulkan bahwa: (1) Tterdapat pengaruh positif yang signifikan faktor pengalaman guru terhadap kinerja guru. Semakin baik baik faktor pengalaman guru semakin tinggi kinerja guru; (2) Terdapat pengaruh positif yang signifikan faktor kepemimpinan kepala sekolah terhadap kinerja guru. PELATIHAN MEMUKUL DENGAN BEBAN MENINGKATKAN KECEPATAN PUKULAN LURUS KIRI-KANAN DARI PADA PELATIHAN MENDORONG KATROL DENGAN BEBAN
Background: Straight punch or jab punch is one punch in boxing. Jab is a blow provocation done by hand in the front position to distract the opponent. Not infrequently blow jab could be ejected violently. Speed jab is in need to knock out the opponent. Therefore we need the right training. Objective: Training hit by the load and drive pulley with weights aims to increase the speed of the jab and stright punch blow. Method: Experimental research has been done with the design Randomized Pre-Post Test Control Group Design on Student SKO Flobamora Kupang. Total sample of 18 people, divided into two groups and each group of nine people.Group 1 was given training with weights and hit the second group training encourages pulley with weights. Research for six weeks with a frequency of exercise three times a week. speed ismeasured with a stopwatch, before and after treatment, and the differences were statistically tested. Result: T independent test shows the speed among the groups before the training did notdiffer 24.44 plus minus 0.882 /5 seconds. After training the average speed punch 24.44 plus minus 0.882 blow before training 21,00 plus minus 1,118 blows / 5 seconds and average power punches 33.11 plus minus 1.900 blows / 5 seconds. In Group 2 average speed of 33.56 plus minus 1.590 kg. Average speed punch after training were 29.11 plus minus 1,364 blows / 5 seconds. Results of paired t-test showed the average speed of a punch in Group 1 before training 21.33 plus minus 1,118 (p bigger than 0.05) and after training was significantly different (p smaller than 0.05) test shows Training hit with loads more increase the speed of the push pulley with weights. Conclusion: Training concluded hit with a load greatly increase the speed of the left and right straight punches instead of pushing a pulley with weights together to give the effect of increased power and speed and a left straight punch right (p smaller than 0.05). An increase in one group is better than the training push pulley with weights on the speed of the left and right straight punches. Suggestion: It is advisable to use hitting training with weights in the training process in the recruitment of athletes because it gives a better effect
DAMPAK BILINGUAL TERHADAP PERKEMBANGAN KOGNITIF ANAK SEKOLAH DASAR
Bilingualism is closely related to the acquisition of a second language. Language acquisition is closely related to how children acquire words, meanings, structures, and pragmatics. It is nothing else related to the processes that occur in the mind and attitude of the child. In the era of globalization, the mastery of foreign languages, especially English as an international language, is mandatory. Currently in Indonesia, English is taught in primary schools and even in early childhood education. This article discusses children's learning, especially in terms of cognitive psychology in learning foreign languages as a second language. The method used is literature study and data collection is analyzed descriptively. It is important to note that the cognitive development of primary school children is appropriate for language learning and there are advantages to learning foreign languages in primary schools. RESPON GURU TERHADAP INSTRUMEN PENILAIAN SIKAP ILMIAH SAINS SISWA SEKOLAH DASAR
Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mendeskripsikan data tentang respon guru sekolah dasar terhadap instrumen sikap ilmiah sains siswa. Penelitian ini merupakan penelitian deskriptif yang menggambarkan respon guru terhadap instrumen penilaian sikap ilmiah sains siswa sekolah dasar. Pada tahap pertama, peneliti mengembangkan alat pengumpul data yaitu berupa angket yang berisikan respon guru terhadap instrumen sikap ilmiah yang sudah dikembangkan. Aspek-aspek yang dinilai pada angket ini adalah kebahasaan, keterbantuan, kualitas instrumen serta kemudahan. Respon guru yang dimaksud dalam penelitian ini adalah respon atau tanggapan guru secara keseluruhan terhadap instrumen penilaian sikap ilmiah yang telah dikembangkan. Berdasarkan hasil analisis data dapat diketahui bahwa seluruh responden memberikan respon sangat baik terhadap instrumen sikap ilmiah sains yang telah dikembangkan. PENGARUH BUDAYA KERJA TERHADAP KINERJA GURU DAN PRESTASI BELAJAR SISWA SMA KABUPATEN SUMBA BARAT DAYA, NTT
This study aims to find out: (1) the effect between biology teacher’s work culture and their teacher’s performances of senior high school (SHS); (2) the effect between biology teacher’s performances and student’s learning achievements of senior high school (SHS); and (3) the effect between biology teacher’s performances and student’s learning achievements through teacher’s performance of senior high school (SHS). The sample consisted of biology teachers teaching in Grades X and XI with a total of 20 teachers and students of Grades X and XI. The data were collected through questionnaires and tests. The data were analyzed by means of the path analysis technique. The results of the path analysis show that: (1) there is a significant effect between biology teacher’s work culture and their performances with p smaller than 0.05 and R2 of 33.1% and regression equation with Y = 36.316 + 0.652X; (2) there is a significant effect between biology teacher’s performances and student’s learning achievements with p smaller than 0.05 and R2 of 50.3% and regression equation with Y = 48.831 + 0.252Y; and (3) there is effect between biology teacher’s performances and student’s learning achievements through teacher’s performance with of t count 2.158 bigger than t table 2.093
PENDIDIKAN SEBAGAI INVESTASI MASA DEPAN MASYARAKAT DESA
Human life is dynamic. In its dynamics, education is one sector that influences the quality of human life in the world, including rural communities. Thus, Education is the spearhead of a country [province, district, sub-district, and village]. Through this idea, education must be the main concern of all citizens, especially the villagers. With primary attention to education, the progress achieved through it can be experienced. The reality shows a significant gap when villagers have not put education as the spearhead of progress. As a result, financial use is prioritized for various non-educational matters, one of which is culture. This has an effect on the low attention to the cost of education so that it places villagers in a vortex of lagging. This scientific paper aims to make villagers understand the importance of education as the spearhead of the progress of a region; understand the type of education or the Three Education Center in Indonesia; understand the benefits or uses of education; and realize "education as a future investment in rural communities". The results of this work were obtained through the study of various literature. The various library sources are mixed into a work that is presented to readers, especially the village community. Thus, through this scientific work the villagers are expected to touch on the importance of education as the spearhead of progress. Therefore, the thoughts and priorities of financial use are prioritized for the education of children as future generations and future investments
STUDI KETERLAKSANAAN PEMBELAJARAN FISIKA BERBASIS SCIENTIFIC APPROACH DI SMA NEGERI KOTA YOGYAKARTA
This study aims to determine: (1) the implementations of physics learning based on scientific approach, (2) the relationship between teacher’s educational background with implementations scientific approach. This study was a survey research using a descriptive correlational approach. The research sample included 18 physics teachers spread in 10 state senior high schools in Yogyakarta city established with purposive sampling technique. The data were collected by using teachers questionnaires, observation sheets, and documentation sheet. The data were analized by using descriptive analysis and Spearman correlation analysis.
