No full textThe leopard cat or Prionailurus Bengalensis is one of Indonesia's animal diversity and is a very valuable asset, and protection of this biodiversity is a must. One of the main threats is illegal trade and poaching for their exotic fur or as pets which also threatens the population of leopard cats. Based on the findings in this research, it can be concluded that even though the trade in protected animals has laws and regulations, there are still cases that continue to trade in protected animals, including leopard cats.

PERLINDUNGAN HUKUM TERHADAP KORBAN TINDAK PIDANA EKSPLOITASI ANAK DIBAWAH UMUR AKIBAT KETERBATASAN EKONOMI
Get PDFChildren are considered the most valuable wealth and have human rights that must be upheld, but are vulnerable to economic and sexual exploitation. Various modes, such as fake work with the lure of profit, can trap children in situations of exploitation. This study aims to determine how legal protection, the background of criminal acts and the efforts of law enforcement officials in overcoming the occurrence of criminal acts of exploitation of minors and their obstacles. This type of research uses a type of normative-empirical research in the form of legal behavior, for example reviewing laws combined with their implementation in every legal event that occurs in a society. The results of the study show that punitive measures for child exploitation refer to Law No. 35 of 2014 while protecting the rights of children so that the problem is not exposed and causes bad things to children. The law guarantees children's right to live, grow, develop, and participate in all aspects of life without discrimination. Law enforcement's own efforts include investigation, arrest and prosecution, victim protection and prevention with the support of public awareness. On the other hand, the lack of reporting of the reality that arises on the ground to the authorities and the slow pace of victims of child exploitation who report their problems and the lack of public knowledge and awareness in child protection efforts cause many cases that should be handled to be missed so that victims of child exploitation do not get the proper treatment and protection.

Implementasi Manajemen Sumber Daya Manusia Dalam Meningkatkan Mutu Pendidikan Di Politeknik Pelayaran Banten
Get PDFPenelitian ini menjelaskan implementasi manajemen sumber daya manusia dalam meningkatkan mutu pendidikan di Politeknik Pelayaran Banten. Penelitian ini menggunakan pendekatan kualitatif deskriptif dengan menggunakan metode observasi, wawancara, dan dokumentasi. Tahap teknik analisis data, meliputi reduksi data, penyajian data, dan verifikasi data sedangkan keaslian penelitian ini didasarkan kepada beberapa penelitian yang telah dilakukan oleh penelitian sebelumnya yang mempunyai karakteristik yang relatif sama dalam hal tema kajian, akan tetapi berbeda dalam hal kriteria subjek, jumlah dan posisi variabel atau metode analisis yang digunakan, keikutsertaan pengamatan, triangulasi data dan melakukan konsultasi ke pembimbing. Hasil penelitian, tersedianya SDM, kerjasama instansi pemerintah/swasta, sarana dan prasarana pendidikan dan penunjang, adanya upaya dalam meningkatkan mutu pendidikan di Politeknik Pelayaran Banten adalah pemenuhan SDM, melakukan evaluasi dan monitoring SDM, penerapan punishment and rewards, melakukan pelatihan dan pengembangan SDM, dan pemenuhan sarana dan prasarana penunjang yang termutakhir dan berteknologi tinggi.

COACHING CLINIC PENULISAN SURAT DINAS BAGI STAF TATA USAHA SMA MUSTIKA AL-MUJANNAH DI KABUPATEN TANGERANG
No full textKeterampilan Staf Tata Usaha (TU) dalam menyelesaikan berbagai macam dokumen sangat diperlukan. Di SMA Mustika Al-Mujannah tidak sedikit Staf Tata Usaha yang masih kurang dalam penguasaan secara penulisan yang baik dan benar untuk membuat dokumen resmi seperti surat-menyurat. Hal tersebut terjadi karena kurangnya pengetahuan dan latar belakang akademis mengenai penulisan surat dinas. Permasalahan yang ditemukan terdapat bentuk kesalahan dalam penulisan surat dinas, seperti penggunaan huruf kapital, penggunaan tanda baca, penomoran surat, pemilihan kata, dan penggunaan kata tugas. Tujuan kegiatan ini adalah untuk meningkatkan kualitas individu atau kelompok melalui pengembangan keterampilan dan pemahaman tentang penulisan surat dinas yang lebih baik. Hasil kegiatan yang dilakukan sebagai berikut : a) dapat memberikan motivasi dan persepsi baru tentang penulisan surat dinas dengan baik dan benar; b) Kemampuan menulis surat dinas Staf Tata Usaha (TU) mengalami peningkatan. Kesimpulan pada kegiatan ini yaitu program coaching clinic penulisan surat dinas yang dilakukan sukses dan berjalan lancar

The Preservations of Failures in Business in Ambrose Bierce’s The Failure of Hope and Wandel
Get PDFThis research investigates to reveal the obstacles faced by the main characters Jabez Hope and Pike Wandel in Ambrose Bierce’s flash fiction entitled The Failure of Hope and Wandel. Hope and Wandel run an ice business together and face several knowledge problems. Using qualitative method and explorative approach, this article analyzes how the excess of obstacles encountered at the beginning of the business process negatively affects the formation of qualified enterprises. This research is reviewed through Patrick A. Gaughan's theory of causes of business failure including experience, fraud, and disaster. Both Hope and Wandel never know that ice is abundant but will easily melt when the spring comes. In conclusion, this story is imaginative but real in the sense that any business could easily collapse if the owner forgets to pay attention to the core of the business materials

Get PDFIn Law Number 5 of 2014 concerning State Civil Apparatus, ASN Employees must have a profession and ASN management based on a merit system that emphasizes employee qualifications, competencies, and performance. The government's seriousness in overcoming the problem of apparatus development is proven through PP No. 17 of 2020 concerning Civil Servant Management, which explains that all civil servants in 1 year have the opportunity for at least 20 hours of lessons to develop their competencies. The entry of the 4.0 era industry is the rapid development of technology in the world. Like it or not, of course this has an impact on technological progress in Indonesia. Starting from the Covid-19 pandemic and for the effectiveness of apparatus development activities, a policy was issued by the Tangerang City Government regarding apparatus development through the Learning Management System. However, seeing the conditions of virtual learning which have obstacles in their implementation, it creates a problem related to the process of apparatus development in the Tangerang City Government. Objective: Based on the background, the author compiled this study with the aim of knowing how the implementation of Apparatus Development through Learning Management System in Tangerang City, knowing what supporting and inhibiting factors are in the implementation of apparatus development through LMS in Tangerang City. Method: The research method uses a descriptive qualitative method with data sources in the form of interview results, observations and supporting documents and proven by documentation. Results/Findings: The results of the study indicate that in the development of apparatus through LMS in Tangerang City has been running according to the objectives, but there are still technical obstacles, namely the transition conditions from classical learning to virtual learning, such as the condition of LMS management human resources which are still lacking and learning support features have not been optimally used, as well as the lack of active role of the apparatus for self-learning. Conclusions and Suggestions: The addition of technical LMS management human resources such as operators, the need for LMS management training for BKPSDM Diklat HR and the need for Socialization to Tangerang City Government apparatus regarding apparatus development through LMS (self-learning)

Pengaruh Perlengkapan Kantor Terhadap Kinerja Pegawai di Kantor Desa Kertajaya Kecamatan Cigugur Kabupaten Pangandaran
No full textThis article discusses office equipment at the Kertajaya Village Office, focusing on the influence of office equipment on employee performance at the Kertajaya Village Office. Adequate office equipment is needed by employees. This can affect the performance of employees. The method used is a qualitative approach and case study, triangulation and questionnaires through google form as the data collection method, the number of employees/respondents is 15 people. The aim is to find out the condition of office equipment, positive and negative influences on employees at the Kertajaya Village Office. The results showed that office equipment is a tool used to help process office activities. The condition of office equipment at Kertajaya Village Office is very well maintained, as many as 73.3% of 15 employees feel that the equipment in the office is well maintained. Although there are several conditions that hinder employee performance. This is indicated by the lack of a division of office equipment, the arrangement of equipment is not neat, the procurement of equipment is not as needed, and there is no deletion. The above problems are things that can affect the work process of employees. Based on the survey results 86.7% of 15 respondents agreed that office equipment greatly affects employee performance.Artikel ini membahas perlengkapan kantor di Kantor Desa Kertajaya, fokus kajiannya pengaruh perlengkapan kantor terhadap kinerja pegawai di Kantor Desa Kertajaya. Perlengkapan kantor yang memadai diperlukan oleh pegawai. Hal tersebut dapat mempengaruhi kinerja para pegawai. Metode yang digunakan adalah pendekatan kualitatif dan studi kasus, triangulasi dan kuesioner melalui google form sebagai metode pengumpulan datanya, jumlah pegawai/responden sebanyak 15 orang. Tujuannya untuk mengetahui kondisi perlengkapan kantor, pengaruh positif dan negatif terhadap pegawai di Kantor Desa Kertajaya. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa perlengkapan kantor adalah alat- alat yang digunakan untuk membantu proses kegiatan kantor. Kondisi perlengkapan kantor di Kantor Desa Kertajaya sangat terjaga dengan baik, sebanyak 73,3% dari 15 pegawai merasa perlengkapan di kantor terjaga dengan baik. Walaupun terdapat beberapa kondisi yang menghambat kinerja pegawai. Hal tersebut ditandai dengan kurangnya divisi bagian perlengkapan kantor, penataan perlengkapan tidak rapih, pengadaan perlengkapan tidak sesuai kebutuhan, dan tidak ada penghapusan. Permasalahan di atas merupakan hal yang dapat mempengaruhi proses kerja para pegawai. Berdasarkan hasil survei 86,7% dari 15 responden setuju bahwa perlengkapan kantor sangat mempengaruhi kinerja pegawai
PERAN HUKUM PERDATA DALAM PENGEMBANGAN EKONOMI: PERBANDINGAN INDIA DAN RUSIA DALAM KONTEKS BRICS
No full textThis study examines the civil laws of India and Russia in the context of economic growth, focusing on a comparison between the two countries within the BRICS framework. The methodology employed is a literature review to identify differences and similarities in the development of civil laws in India and Russia. The analysis reveals that while India and Russia may not exhibit remarkable environmental performance compared to other BRICS nations, both prioritize environmental sustainability as a primary focus in their economic development policies. The research underscores the role of environmental laws in achieving sustainable impacts on the environment in both countries. Regarding intellectual property, Russia emerges as the most actively involved nation in intellectual property agreements within BRICS, especially when compared to India. Despite differences in trademark registration procedures, both countries demonstrate compliance with an integrated model. The study notes that Russia's intellectual property laws tend to be more general compared to India, which has more specific regulations. Practically, the research suggests the need for continuous efforts to maintain environmental achievements in both countries, with significant potential for collaboration in renewable energy production. In the realm of intellectual property, the identified patterns offer opportunities for collaboration and knowledge exchange between India and Russia. The findings of this study can guide policymakers and stakeholders in formulating strategies for environmental protection and intellectual property management within the BRICS context. This research makes a significant contribution to a deeper understanding of the differences and similarities in civil laws between India and Russia in the context of the BRICS economy.
