STUDENTS’ AWARENESS TOWARD 21ST CENTURY SKILLS
Get PDFUnderstanding 21st-century abilities is essential for students to succeed in the quickly changing digital and information age. These abilities, which are divided into learning, literacy, and life skills categories, include vital proficiencies including critical thinking, creativity, teamwork, communication, information literacy, and flexibility. In order to successfully handle societal difficulties, this study looks at how well students comprehend and apply these abilities. The results show that although students show a moderate level of knowledge regarding digital literacy and teamwork, deficiencies in critical thinking, problem-solving, and leadership abilities still exist. The design of the curriculum, teacher participation, and availability of digital tools are some of the factors that affect awareness. Incorporating 21st-century skills into teaching methods through competency-based assessments, technological integration, and experiential learning is necessary to raise awareness. Thus, it can emphasize how critical it is to develop these abilities in order to equip pupils for both societal and lifetime learning
Analisis dan Perancangan Sistem untuk Mengukur Kandungan Emisi pada Penggunaan Gas LPG di Wilayah Joglo
No full textMeningkatnya jumlah penngguna Gas LPG untuk aktivitas sehari-hari dapat meningkatkan pemanasan global.Hal tersebut dikarenakan pengunaan gas lpg menghasilkan emisi yang cukup tinggi yang berdampak pada pemanasan global. Penelitian ini telah menghitung besarnya emisi pada gas LPG dari aktivtas rumah tangga di Wilayah Joglo dan memberikan informasi kepada masyrakat. Senyawa pada gas LPG untuk menghitung jumlah emisi terdiri dari CO2, CH4, dan N2O.Pengumpulan data dilakukan dengan cara wawancara dan melalui google form yang nantinya akan diisi oleh masing masing penduduk di wilayah joglo. Dari hasil analisis yang dilakukan, emisi gas dari rumah tangga di Wilayah Joglo adalah 10.509,5 kgCO2 eq/Tahun. Angka tersebut menunjukan bahwa emisi yang dihasilkan melebihi batas standarisasi pertahun yaitu 2 sampai 10 ton/tahun. Dengan membangun aplikasi untuk menghitung emisi berdasarkan jumlah pengguna gas LPG, dapat membantu proses pengambilan keputusan untuk menjaga lingkunganMeningkatnya jumlah penngguna Gas LPG untuk aktivitas sehari-hari dapat meningkatkan pemanasan global.Hal tersebut dikarenakan pengunaan gas lpg menghasilkan emisi yang cukup tinggi yang berdampak pada pemanasan global[1]. The Effect of Think Pair Share (TPS) Technique to Improve Students’ Writing Skill on Descriptive Text at Tenth Grade Of SMAN 2 Kab. Tangerang in Academic Year 2018/2019

This research was conducted to find out the effectiveness of Think Pair Share (TPS) technique to teach Students' Writing Skill in Descriptive Text at Tenth Grade Students of SMAN 2 Kab Tangerang. The aim of this research is to find out the significant effect of Think Pair Share (TPS) technique to improve Students' Writing Skill in Descriptive Text at Tenth Grade Students of SMAN 2 Kab Tangerang. The population of this research was Tenth Grade Students of SMAN 2 Kab Tangerang. The writer took the homogeneity two classes namely first experimental class using think pair share technique with 33 students as the sample and control class without using think pair share technique with 35 students as the sample. This research used quasi experimental group - non-equivalent control group design. The writer used pre-test and post-test to get the data. The pre-test was given before treatment while post-test was given after treatments for both classes. Based on the result of this research, the writer took conclusion there are some significant differences between experimental and control class. The average score for the experimental class was 65.33 for the pre-test and 70.67 for the post-test. While the average score for the control class was 64.057 for the pre-test and 67.23 for the post-test. It means that there is an improvement of the students' achievement in writing descriptive texts. Each class has different achievement. The achievement of the experimental class is higher than the control class. In the result of post-test of experimental class was 70.67 which where higher than the control class 67.23. It means that writing a descriptive text by using Think Pair Share (TPS) Technique is better than writing descriptive texts without Think Pair Share (TPS) Technique.

The Effect of Extensive Reading on the Students’ Reading Comprehension at the Tenth Grade of SMA Daarul Muttaqien Tangerang in Academic Year 2019/2020

The aim of this research was to know a significant effect of extensive reading on the students' reading comprehension at the tenth grade of SMA Daarul Muttaqien Tangerang. This research used quantitative method, 71 students as the sample which taken by using quasi experimental research and non-equivalent control group design. Students' test and questionnaires were used by the writer to collect the data. The hypothesis data was tested using formula t-test, it was known that in experimental class and control class indicated with Ha was accepted its mean that there was an effect of using extensive reading on the students' reading comprehension at the Tenth grade of SMA Daarul Muttaqien Tangerang, in experimental class the students were focused and had a big spirit in learning reading using extensive reading they were could gave a summary of the reading text with good structure and done the instrument correctly during the learning process. Based on the percentages students' post-test showed that students' reading comprehension was better than before. Moreover, this research also found that students' learning motivation was very good and the students in experimental class were more active in reading using extensive reading during learning process.

Get PDFLatar Belakang: Penelitian dilakukan guna untuk mengetahui hasil target yang bisa direalisasi pada bulan berikutnya sehingga dalam mengambil keputusan dalam penetapan target tidak mengalami kesulita seberapa besar yang seharusnya bisa dicapai. Seperti halnya pada pengalaman yang telah terjadi pada PT Bank Tabungan Negara Tbk. Kantor Cabang Karawaci selalu mengalami kesulitan dalam menentukan sebarapa besar jumlah target yang harus dicapai karna disini pihak kantor cabang masih menggunakan perhitungan prediksi secara manual dimana rentan sekali terjadi kesalahan dan hasil yang cenderung kurang akurat, guna untuk mengantisipasi hal tersebut maka peneliti melakukan penelitian berikut ini. Metode : Peneliti membuat sebuah sistem aplikasi yang sudah terkomputerisasi sehingga dalam melakukan prediksi perhitungan dalam penetepan target tidak lagi mengalami sebuah kesulitan. Dalam software yang dibuat oleh peneliti ini menggunakan metode algoritma yang disebut dengan metode algoritma genetika dimana di klaim bahwa metode ini sangat baik untuk digunakan melakukan prediksi dan digunakan untuk mengambil sebuah keputusan yang berdasarkan perhitungan secara matematis. Hasil : Sistem yang dibangun oleh peneliti ini mempunyai beberapa kelebihan antara lain lebih akurat,lebih mudah dan lebih efisiensi. Dalam melakukan prediksi seperti ini sangatlah penting jika dilakukan menggunakan suatu sistem yang berbasis komputerisasi. Kesimpulan : Pada sistem apliasi yang dibangun oleh peneliti ini data sangatlah berperan penting dalam melakukan prediksi sehingga keakuratan hasil penelitian pun bisa lebih baik dan semakin akurat dengan catatan data yang dimasukan semakin banyak. Akan tetapi walaupun data yang diinput ke dalam hanya satu setengah tahun kebelakang pun aplikasi ini masih dapat melakukan prediksi dengan baik dengan hasil prediksi dengan persentase eror dibawah 30% ini berarti masih bisa untuk dikatan akurat,ini menunjukan hasil yang dilakukan hasil prediksi terbilang baik dan sistem ini dapat dikatakan berkerja dengan baik dalam kondisi kondisi yang seminimal mungkin
Teacher's Perception of Training Middle Managers in Leadership and Management Skills: A Survey at Al-Hidayah Foundation
Get PDFTraining middle managers comes up as an essential part to be done in a school area since middle managers play a critical role in school development and effectiveness as well as crucial to the success of the school. However, numerous recent researches indicate that middle managers are not receiving the relevant support and training they require to fulfil their roles. While other researchers argued that there has been some improvement, there continues to be a lack of adequate and effective training for middle managers prior to them taking up their roles, including those aspiring to their positions. Furthermore, it identified the fact that positions in middle management are increasing in number as well as complexity, yet middle managers are being appointed to the positions without the relevant support or training. Thus, the teacher’s perceptions are needed to highlight more about the importance of training middle managers in leadership and management skills. This study is a survey study which is aimed to get an empirical data about teachers' perceptions of training middle managers in leadership and management skills at Al-Hidayah foundation. The writer used modified questionnaire to gather the data. All the participants are considered as middle managers at Al-Hidayah Foundation including principal, vice principle and other Heads of Department. The Effect of Using Grammarly Application to Improve Students' Writing Skill at Tenth Grade of SMAN 14 Kota Tangerang in Academic Year 2020/2021
Get PDFThe research aimed to know whether there is a significant effect of using the Grammarly application to improve students’ writing skill at tenth grade of SMAN 14 Kota Tangerang. This research is quantitative method, 64 students of X MIPA 1 and X MIPA 4, as the sample which taken nonrandom by using quasi-experimental research non-equivalent control group design. Students test was used by the researcher to collect the data through pre-test and post-test. The result of this research was statistical calculation by One-Sample Kolmogorov-Smirnov test, it is known the asymptotic significances of the pre-test and post-test in experimental class data is 0.000<0.05. It can be concluded that Ha is accepted and Ho is rejected. It means there is significant difference using the Grammarly application to improve students’ writing skill. Therefore, it can be concluded that there is positive effect using theGrammarly application to improve students’ writing skills in the tenth grade of SMAN 14 Kota Tangerang in the academic year 2020/2021
Pengaruh Sosial Media Marketing terhadap Minat dan Daya Beli Pelanggan

Social media is a platform not only users interacted and digitally communicated but also a marketing channel where consumers search and do transactions on products and services. The development of digital transformation i.e. social media increases the curiosity about how it influences purchasing power of consumers. The consumer means the millennials who are the well-adapter and users of this digital transformation. 115 students have been questioned via close questionnaires in order to facilitate this study and the result shows that social media has not shown any influence on the purchasing power of consumers, due to the combination of multi-channel on a purchase.
Inovasi tiada henti, teknologi, model bisnis dan pendekatan komunikasi berkembang secara berkesinambungan[1] melalui media sosial. Media sosial merupakan platform tidak hanya pengguna berinteraksi dan berkomunikasi secara digital tetapi juga sebagai channel dalam memasarkan produk dan jasa. Perkembangan transformasi digital seperti media sosial tentusaja meningkatkan keingintahuan bagaimana hal tersebut bisa mempengaruhi daya beli konsumen. Konsumen dimaksud adalah generasi milenial dimana dasar pemikirannya bahwa milenial merupakan generasi pengadaptasi teknologi dan pengguna transformasi digital guna memfasilitasi penelitian ini. Angket tertutup didistribusikan kepada 115 mahasiswa dan hasilnya menunjukkan bahwa media sosial tidak secara positif berpengaruh terhadap daya beli konsumen, dengan motto semakin tinggi masyarakat merasakan kemudahan akses informasi tidak mempengaruhi daya beli pelanggan dikarenakan pembelian tidak hanya dilakukan dalam satu chanel tetapi multi-channel.

Maka dari itu, perlunya merancang dan membangun web mobile untuk menampung semua aktifitas dari kegiatan organisasi Mahasiswa tersebut. Metode yang digunakan dalam penelitian ini yaitu Research & Development dengan cara studi pendahuluan, pengembangan model, dan pengujian. Tujuan dari penelitian ini yaitu untuk mempemudah dalam mencari informasi kegiatan tentang Mahasiswa di UKM Himpunan Mahasiswa Teknik Informatika melalui Web Mobile. Hasil dari penelitian ini yaitu web dapat diimplementasikan dan diakses secara online berbasis mobile. Get PDFThe objectives of the research were to determine the types of Material Process used in 13 Reason Why film transcript in Jay Asher movie and to find out the most dominant material process type applied in 13 Reason Why film transcript in analyzing Jay Asher movie. The research was conducted by using descriptive qualitative design. The data of this research were utterances based on the transcript of 13 Reason Why film transcript that were downloaded from https://13reasonswhy.fandom.com/wiki/Tape_1,_Side_A/Transcript\. The data was analyzed by using Systemic Functional Linguistics based on Halliday. The result of this research was: (1) there were four types of Material Process in the transcript of 13 Reason Why film transcript, namely: Process of Doing (247 utterances or 76,23%), Process of Creating (50 utterances or 15,43%), Process of Happening (21 utterances or 6,48%), and Abstract Process (6 utterances or 1,85%). The most dominant type of Material Process applied in 13 Reasons Why transcript is Process of Doing (247 utterances with percentage 76,23%)
