Smarter Evolution: Enhancing Evolutionary Black Box Fuzzing with Adaptive Models
oai:https://fordatis.fraunhofer.de:fordatis/345Data collected during the evaluation of the paper "Smarter Evolution: Enhancing Evolutionary Black Box Fuzzing with Adaptive Models". In our publication, we presented an approach to bridge the gap between existing gray box fuzzing strategies and the real-world black box setting of fuzzing industrial control systems. This repository contains the data that was generated during our evaluation and was used to generate the corresponding figures in our paper.
The Jupyter Notebook that we used to generate the figures based on this dataset can be found on GitHub: https://github.com/anneborcherding/Smarter-Evolutio

Dataset for AI-assisted detection of the wear level of a cutting tool on a CNC mill
A METROM CNC mill was equipped with a microphone and an accelerometer to determine whether the used milling tool was in a good state or blunt. The measurement data was collected over several measurement series. The used tool was replaced at the beginning of each series with a new, similar tool. The working material was always steel. Machine parameters such as feed rate and rotational speed of the tool has been varied between different series. The machine was operated over a defined time frame while data was collected. After that, the machine was stopped, and the operator classified the quality of cut. The quality is directly related to the condition of the tool. The higher the wear, the worse the quality. Using this approach, we build a dataset consisting of different measurement series to show the degradation of a CNC cutter using vibration and acoustic measurements.A METROM CNC mill was equipped with a microphone and an accelerometer to determine whether the used milling tool was in a good state or blunt. The CNC mill is fully encased and uses a pentapod geometry to move the spindle with the tool. The accelerometer is an Analog ADXL1005, and the wideband MEMS microphone is a Knowles SPU0410LR5H. The data was sampled by a modified version of the Fraunhofer IPMS CMUT evaluation kit. The sampling rate of the analog inputs was set to 1.953.125Hz. The accelerometer was mounted at a stationary part of the spindle to measure vibrations caused by the tool. It was fixed using adhesives as well as a cable tie. The microphone was mounted using a beam to be near the tool. It was aimed towards the tool and protected by a fabric against loose chips emitted by the tool. While the flying chips could not damage the sensors, they could very well interfere with the measured sounds. During the operation of the machine, no lubricant or additional cooling was used. The recorded time series are provided as HDF5 file and have been further processed using Matlab or Python in different publications.A METROM CNC mill was equipped with an accelerometer and microphone. EDDA - Mozambique post disaster building damage dataset
Natural disasters have devastating effects on communities, necessitating swift and accurate damage assessment.
Manual assessment methods are time-consuming and costly, emphasizing the significance of semiautomatic ap-
proaches employing remote sensing and drone data. However, current datasets primarily focus on Western
countries’ infrastructure, lacking information on damaged buildings in other regions specifically Africa. To
bridge this gap, we present the EDDA dataset, comprising of VHR orthorectified mosaic images from drone imagery with building footprint labels classified by damage extent of rural and urban areas of Mozambique affected by Cyclone Ida.Consists of two subsets arhived as rar files to reduce download size. Each subset consists of a combination of tiff images and shapefile labels. The tiff contain ortorectificed VHR orthomosaics images stored in ZSTD compression to dramatically reduce image size. This compression requires the use of designated GIS software (ArcGIS, QGIS, etc..) or libraries built on GDAL (python libraries GDAL, Arcpy, Rasterio, etc..). The label part of each subset are arhived as shapefiles and can be opened using designated GIS software (ArcGIS, QGIS, etc..) or libraries (python libraries Arcpy, Geopandas, PyProj)
Images and 3D triangle meshes generated with a single-camera, multi-light setup (photometric stereo)
The dataset contains albedo and normal image and a 3D triangle mesh with additional features (multi scale integral invariants) for the obverse of medieval coins. There are three different types of coins. Within each typ there are many samples of various state of conservation. Numismatists can recognize similarities between samples of one type and differences between samples of different type. We are interested in the development of computer methods, which can measure such similarities and differences based on these digital representations of the coins. The development of O.S.C.A.R. - the device for coin digitization - was funded by Staatskanzlei und Ministerium für Kultur
des Landes Sachsen-Anhalt. Coins were digitized within the projects "Digital Heritage" funded by Investitionsbank Sachsen-Anhalt and "Rares-Bares" funded by the Federal Ministry of Education and Research.Folders collect the data of different coin types. The data of one coin comprises multiple files, which share the beginning of the file name (identifier_timestamp). Color images are saved in TIFF format with extension .tif. While _albedo represents the color texture, the RGB-channels of _normal stand for the xyz-coordinates of the normal vectors, where the interval [-1, 1] is linearily mapped to [0, 255]. Triangle meshes are saved in PLY format with extension .ply. A JSON file contains meta information as identifiers for collection and "kenom" online catalogue (https://www.kenom.de/), type and resolution
