Bosnian Belongings: Preserving the History We Keep in Our Homes
Get PDFDo you have letters, diaries, photos, scrapbooks, or other materials that illustrate your life in Bosnia before coming to St. Louis or that document your journey to and experiences in the United States?
Would you like to share your story in an audio or video recording? This has shown to be a powerful way to pass knowledge and understanding on to future generations.
We invite members of the Bosnian community to bring in materials or have their story recorded between 1 and 4 pm on Saturday, May 6 at the Weber Road Branch of the St. Louis County Library.
We will not keep your originals -- they will be scanned or photographed and returned immediately. Materials do not need to be in English.
We welcome walk-ins but would also encourage you to let us know you\u27ll be coming and what you\u27ll be sharing. Please email [email protected] or call 859-489-6413.
