PHENOMENOLOGY AND APOPHATIC THEOLOGY
Get PDFThis text analyses the reception of St Dionysius the Areopagite"™s apophaticism in Jean-Luc Marion"™s thought. After a dispute with Jacques Derrida, who claimed that negative theology returns to affirmations after having passed through negations, Marion reads Dionysius"™ apophaticism in the same way the Tradition of the Church did. Hence, he asserts that apophaticism is a third way, beyond affirmations and negations. As Marion"™s apology evolves, Dionysius"™ influences on his thought appear in concepts such as "œGod without being," distance, and saturated phenomenon. Furthermore, this study argues the role of the human being in apophatic theology. Because of his radical phenomenology of donation, Marion reverses intentionality in counter-intentionality, experience in counter-experience, and subject in adonné. From this point on, the subject/l"™adonné seems to have no determinative role for apophatic gnoseology, although Church Tradition always affirmed the importance of faith and virtues for spiritual ascent. The solution proposed in this text makes a distinction between Kant"™s transcendental and the conditions of possibility gained by hermeneutics, ascetics, liturgy, and divine grace. L"™adonné has no previous Kantian conditions of possibility; however, it can create some conditions of possibility from previous saturated phenomena. O premisă a materialului o reprezintă ideea că, de-a lungul istoriei nu doar boala a reprezentat un motiv de discriminare, ci și alte aspecte ca: apartenența la o altă rasă sau religie, diferența dintre genuri etc. Confruntarea cu handicapul generează necesitatea consilierii. Pentru buna interacțiune a consilierilor cu consiliații lor materialul prezintă fazele psihoperceptive ale dizabilității și abordarea lor corectă, precum și necesitatea ca persoanele consiliate să fie informate de posibilitatea angajării și promovate pentru integrarea lor în meserii cerute pe piața muncii. A PROBLEMATIC MISSIONARY TEXT: JOHN 20:23 AND THE ISSUE OF THE TRANSLATION OF THE TWO MAIN CLAUSES (φίενται AND κεκÏάτηνται)
No full textOne of the most central theological themes of Orthodoxy is sacerdotalism, the mystery of priesthood and its roots growing from this Johannine verse, in which apostles are sent to mission after they were invested with power to forgive the sins. The problem that occurs refers to the translation of the perfect that is found in the main clause in both sentences: "‚φίημι ("œto let go, forgive") and κÏατÎω ("œto retain, to grasp"), which in some manuscripts of the New Testament (Codex Sinaiticus ; Codex Alexandrinus ; Codex Bezae ) and in a few uncials and critical editions of the Greek New Testament (Westcott and Hort ; Nestle"™s Greek New Testament ), appears to be perfect tense. According to Greek New Testament grammars, the perfect tense pictures a past action, the result of which was present to the speaker or writer. So Jesus warned the disciples that they were to treat as forgiven only those that were already forgiven by God. According to this scenario, their entire mission summarizes the acts of authenticating the things that have already been made for them (in their name) and for the people. Our research deals with this issue, underlines the value of indicative present mood of this two verbs, as we encounter them in the byzantine manuscripts of the New Testament and also in Codex Vaticanus . The large context of the story deals with the action of breathing the Holy Spirit over the disciples, transforming them into a new existence and receiving power by this, to forgive or retain everyone"™s sins, that is why I see the perfect tense as the result of a scribal error. The difference between the present "‚φίενται and the perfect "‚φÎωνται consist of two letters changed, an error that might have occured among the scribs. Establishing the indicative present of the action is an urgent task for the world of orthodox biblical studies, because according to this prerequisite, our whole missionary agenda earns credits

Încă de la începutul anilor "™80 ai secolului trecut, numeroși bioeticieni și filosofi europeni au vizitat universități din America de Nord, acceptând fără rezerve teoriile seculare asupra bioeticii, în special cele principialiste ale lui Beauchamp și Childress. Cei mai entuziaști au fost englezii și olandezii, așa încât europenii de pe continent vorbesc despre o influență angloamericană, mai degrabă decât despre o bioetică exclusiv americană. În ciuda acestui import de idei, valorile creștine inspiră în continuare bioetica europeană, o provocare prin care oamenii încearcă să se așeze pe căile care duc spre Dumnezeu sau, din contră, îi îndepărtează de El. Întrucât astăzi filosofia și etica au ajuns să fie înțelese ca discipline intelectuale seculare, posibilitatea implementării unei bioetici creștine trebuie evaluată explorând deosebirile, dar și valorile care despart și apropie cele două proiecte

A starting point of the essay is represented by the idea that in the past not only disease was the reason for a person to be discriminated but also other elements such as: the belonging to another race or religion, the gender differences etc. Confronting disability generates the necessity of counselling. For a good relation of the counsellors with the counselled this writing presents the psycho-perceptive stages of the disability and their correct approach as well as the necessity for the counselled persons to be informed on the possibility of employment and promoted for their integration into jobs demanded on the labour market. After the comparative analysis of the three major monotheistic religions we sum up by asserting that Christianity is the only religion that can give suffering the value of a blessing

FENOMENOLOGIE ȘI TEOLOGIE APOFATICĂ
Get PDFAcest text analizează receptarea apofatismului Sf. Dionisie Pseudo-Areopagitul de către gândirea lui Jean-Luc Marion. Într-o dispută cu Jacques Derrida, care afirma că teologia negativă revine la afirmații după o trecere prin negații, Marion înțelege apofatismul dionisian la fel cum îl înțelege Tradiția Bisericii. Astfel, el afirmă că apofatismul este o a treia cale dincolo de afirmații și negații. După cum arată apologia lui Marion, influențele lui Dionisie asupra gândirii sale sunt vizibile în concepte precum "Dumnezeul fără ființă", distanța și fenomenul saturat. Mai mult, acest studiu argumentează în favoarea rolului omului în teologia apofatică. Datorită fenomenologiei radicale a donației, Marion răstoarnă intenționalitatea în contra-intenționalitate, experiența în contra-experiență și subiectul în adonat. În acest punct, subiectul/adonatul pare a nu avea niciun rol determinant pentru gnoseologia apofatică, deși Tradiția Bisericii a afirmat întotdeauna importanța credinței și virtuților pentru urcușul duhovnicesc. Soluția acestui text oferă o distincție între transcendentalul lui Kant și condițiile de posibilitate câștigate prin hermeneutică, asceză, liturghie și har dumnezeiesc. Adonatul nu are condiții de posibilitate kantiene și anterioare, dar poate crea unele din fenomenele saturate anterioare. Aceste "condiții" nu periclitează excesul saturației
