Penentuan Jumlah Pengambilan Barang Guna Meningkatkan Service Level pada PT. XY
This study examines inventory control for two major cement products, Semen Gresik and Semen Merdeka, at PT XY Sidoarjo Branch, aiming to minimize stockout risk and financial losses arising from lost sales and delivery penalties. Operational data from June to August 2025 were analyzed to identify demand patterns, supply fluctuations, and the need for accurate determination of safety stock and reorder point. The findings indicate several stockout events that contributed to significant financial losses, amounting to approximately Rp509,600,000 for Semen Gresik. Therefore, a more precise inventory control approach is required, particularly through the Continuous Review method, which considers daily demand variability and lead time. The proposed improvements include implementing a more adaptive safety stock level and adjusting the reorder point to reduce stockout frequency and enhance distribution reliability
Pengaruh Variasi Nilai Konstruksi Terhadap Pengendalian Proyek
This study analyzes the influence of constructin value variation on project control effectiveness in Indonesia using a quantity explanatory research design. The data were obtained from the statistics Indonesia (BPS) 2023 report, specifically the dataset on constructin categories. Descriptive analysis reveals highly extreme value variations with several large-scale outliers. Pearson correlation analysis indicates very strong relationship (≥ 0,97) among value categories, suggesting simulatneous escalatin in multi component projects. The findings imply that higher construction values requier more complex control mechanism, including Earned Value Management (EVM), structured risk mitigation, and strist change-order management. This study recommends adopting value-based project control classifications to enhance the effectiveness of cost anda schedule oversight and to support optimal construction project performance
Relayout Gudang Bahan Baku Box Kemasan untuk Menurunkan Waktu Proses Perpindahan ke Lantai Produksi
PT. WKU is a manufacturing company that produces various types of packaging boxes using both a custom-made production system and a make-to-stock approach for certain products such as safety boxes. The company’s operational activities rely heavily on the availability of raw materials, primarily corrugated board, kraft liner, duplex board, and white kraft. The raw material warehouse, which has dimensions of 65 × 63,5 meters, is currently not optimally arranged. Pallet spacing is too narrow, causing inefficiencies in material retrieval because workers must move other pallets to access materials located at the back. This study aims to design a more effective warehouse layout using the ABC classification method based on movement frequency and a dedicated storage system. Inbound and outbound movement data were analyzed to calculate the frequency of material movement, which was then classified using the Pareto principle to determine storage priority levels. The results show that Duplex Board, Corrugated Board Single Wall 6 mm, and Kraft Liner fall into Class A, indicating the highest movement frequency
Optimasi Parameter Proses Sealing Pada Kemasan Fleksibel Laminasi PET/ALU/PE/LLDPE Menggunakan Metode Design Of Experiments (DOE)
High seal integrity is critical for multilayer flexible packaging (PET/ALU/PE/LLDPE) to ensure product quality and safety. This study aims to optimize heat-sealing parameters—temperature, pressure, and time—using Design of Experiments (DOE) within a response surface approach. A full-factorial design (3×3×3) was applied, involving three levels for each factor (temperature: 120–140 °C; pressure: 2–4 bar; time: 0.5–1.5 s), resulting in 27 experimental runs. Seal strength was measured in g/15 mm according to ASTM F88/F88M, and analyzed using ANOVA and quadratic regression modeling. Results indicate that all main effects and interactions are statistically significant (p < 0.05), with temperature and time as dominant factors, and a substantial temperature×pressure interaction. The model demonstrated excellent fit (Adjusted R² ≈ 97%). Optimization using Response Optimizer identified the best conditions at 134.7 °C, 4.0 bar, and 1.18 s, predicting seal strength of approximately 5,812 g/15 mm with desirability ≈ 0.95. These findings provide actionable guidance for improving seal quality, reducing defects, and enhancing process efficiency in flexible packaging manufacturing
Analisis Deviasi Rencana Operasi Harian terhadap Realisasi Operasi sebagai Dasar Sistem Peringatan Dini pada PLTGU PT XYZ
Discrepancies between the Daily Operation Plan (ROH) and actual operation are issues that can affect the efficiency and operational costs of combined-cycle power plants. This study aims to analyze deviations between ROH and the actual realization of electricity production as well as the consumption of natural gas and High Speed Diesel (HSD) at the PT XYZ Combined Cycle Power Plant. The research was conducted using daily operational data from September to November 2025 obtained from the Planning and Operation Control and Commercial Division. The method applied was deviation analysis by calculating absolute and percentage differences between planned and actual values, which were then classified based on predefined performance thresholds. The results indicate that significant deviations still occurred during several operational periods, particularly in fuel consumption. As a recommendation, a simple spreadsheet-based early warning system using Microsoft Excel was developed to support daily operational monitoring and performance evaluation.
Analisis Defect Produk Ring Piston pada Line B- Ken Melalui Pengendalian Kualitas dengan Metode Six Sigma di PT XYZ
This study aims to analyze defect rates of ring piston products on Line B-KEN at PT XYZ and formulate quality improvement recommendations using the Six Sigma method. High defect rates, such as cracks, undersize, and oversize, directly impact quality costs and productivity. This applied research employs a quantitative approach through the DMAIC cycle (Define, Measure, Analyze, Improve, Control). Data were collected from 2021–2024 production records, field observations, and interviews. DPMO calculations indicate that process capability is not yet optimal, with cracks identified as the dominant defect. Pareto and fishbone diagram analyses reveal that human, machine, method, and material factors are the primary root causes. Proposed improvements include SOP standardization, operator training, machine parameter control, and strengthened process supervision. Implementing these strategies is expected to reduce defect rates and enhance sustainable production stability.

The results showed that productive activity was in the high category, reflecting good work efficiency. However, the total overtime hours from January to June 2025 reached 2,339 hours, indicating that regular labor capacity was inadequate. Based on standard time calculations, the optimal labor requirement is 3–4 people
Analisis Situation Awareness Pengendara Sepeda Motor Berdasarkan Usia, Pengalaman Berkendara, dan Kondisi Waktu Menggunakan Situation Present Assessment Method (SPAM)
Traffic accidents remain a global challenge, with WHO reporting high mortality rates among individuals aged 5–29 years. In Indonesia, accident trends also show a consistent increase, with an average rise of 6.90% per year from 2019 to 2023, predominantly involving motorcycle riders. This condition highlights the importance of cognitive factors, situation awareness (SA), which plays a role in recognizing, understanding, and predicting events while riding. This study aims to investigate the SA levels of motorcycle riders based on riding experience, age, and time of day using Situation Present Assessment Method (SPAM). This study involves laboratory research and uses primary data in quantitative. The findings indicate that younger and less experienced riders exhibit lower SA levels, and that SA performance at night is lower than in the morning. These results recommend the need for safety training programs that focus on SA development, the preparation of simulation-based educational modules, and the establishment of minimum SA standards for obtaining a driving license
