Usability of Electrical E-Wiring Module Using Mobile Apps
In education, the use of smart-phone apps is very helpful in the process of teaching and learning. Therefore, this situation inspires and opportunities for the development of a smart-phone app namely the Electrical e-Wiring Module (called, MePE). The MePE app is a smart-phone app or mobile apps developed to help students who are taking electrical wiring courses to refer how to learn electrical wiring via smart-phone applications. In addition, this application can also be used as a teaching tool in the process of learning electrical wiring. The study was conducted to identify the requirements for MePE app, develops and tests the functionality of MePE app. There are four main sections in this application. This application is developed in accordance with the evolutionary prototype methodology. As a result of the functionality testing performed on the nine functions available on the MePE app all the functions passed the tests that have been performed. In addition, 24 of 31 respondents agreed that the MePE application is helpful and effective in learning electrical wiring. It is hoped that with this application it will help students that study electrical wiring courses to make reference to electrical wiring through this application
Pengaruh Sikap Terhadap Pelajar di UPSI Apabila Menggunakan Aplikasi Permainan Atas Talian
Permainan atas talian semakin menjadi pilihan pelajar untuk mengisi masa terluang seiring dengan perkembangan dalam teknologi maklumat. Penggunaan aplikasi permainan atas talian menggunakan telefon pintar banyak mempengaruhi dan membentuk budaya hiburan pelajar pada masa kini. Kajian ini bertujuan untuk membincangkan pengaruh sikap terhadap pelajar UPSI apabila bermain aplikasi permainan atas talian. Kajian tinjauan ini melibatkan seramai 60 orang pelajar Diploma kursus Pembangunan Permainan 2D UPSI dan data dikumpulkan dengan menggunakan aplikasi MYGURU UPSI melalui perbincangan forum “Faktor dan Kesan Permainan Digital”. Penyelidik menggunakan kaedah analisis dokumen untuk mengumpul data tersebut. Dapatan kajian mendapati rakan-rakan merupakan faktor utama yang mempengaruhi pelajar untuk bermain permainan atas talian. Kesan positif yang utama apabila bermain permainan atas talian ialah dapat meningkatkan kemahiran berfikir, pengetahuan dan pemikiran logik manakala kesan negatif yang utama pula ialah masalah kesihatan seperti rabun, obesiti, dan masalah tidur yang tidak teratur. Kajian ini boleh dijadikan rujukan kepada para pelajar untuk memanfaatkan permainan yang bersesuaian dan membantu mereka dalam memperolehi impak positif dalam hidupan seharian serta membantu pensyarah dalam mengubahsuai strategi pengajaran dan pembelajaran untuk menarik minat pelajar.
Attitudes Influence on UPSI Students in Using Online Game Applications
Abstract: Online games are increasingly becoming the choice of students to fill their free time in line with developments in information technology. The use of online gaming applications using smartphones greatly influences and shapes the entertainment culture of students nowadays. This study aims to discuss the influence of attitudes on UPSI students when playing online game applications. This survey study involved a total of 60 Diploma students of UPSI 2D Game Development course and data were collected using the MYGURU UPSI application through the discussion of the "Faktor dan Kesan Permainan Digital” forum. Researchers use document analysis methods to collect such data. The findings of the study found that peers are a major factor influencing students to play online games. The main positive effects when playing online games is to improve thinking skills, knowledge and logical thinking while the main negative effects are health problems such as myopia, obesity, and irregular sleep problems. This study can be used as a reference for students to take advantage of appropriate games and assist them in obtaining a positive impact in daily life as well as assist lecturers in modifying teaching and learning strategies to attract students.

Solar Panel Remote Monitoring and Control System on Miniature Weather Stations Based on Web Server and ESP32
The weather station helps in planning socioeconomic activities such as agriculture, tourism, transportation, marine activities and plantations. The station needs an energy source, an electric energy source to operate, and is needed to get continuous assistance. This study aims to build a system for using two sources of electrical energy to support electricity stations that can be monitored and control remotely and provide information on the use of electrical energy in miniature weather stations into a web server. This research produces a remote monitoring and control system that can automatically switch primary energy sources to backup energy sources. When taking the main current source goes out, the system is able to carry the energy source back to the main source back to the main source alive again. The system can make changes manually using a web server that can be controlled remotely. When the battery reaches a voltage above 14.40 volts, the charging process stops and the system uses electrical energy from the battery. When the battery voltage reads 11.89 volts, do the battery charging process again. Electrical energy system information on miniature stations can display information about voltage, current, power, temperature and intensity of sunlight in the form of graphical visualization in real time
Masalah Berpasangan-Pasangan dalam Kalangan Pelajar Sekolah
Masalah berpasang-pasangan kebanyakkan melibatkan remaja yang berusia 16 tahun ke atas yang mana pada usia ini remaja berada pada peringkat akhir remaja. Konflik-konflik yang berlaku dalam fasa ini adalah sangat penting kerana ianya mampu mempengaruhi masa depan seseorang tatkala meningkat dewasa. Masalah berdua-duaan atau berpasang-pasangan adalah masalah yang sangat sukar di atas di mana-mana sekolah sekalipun. Objektif kajian iaitu untuk mengkaji faktor-faktor, kesan masalah, dan langkah-langkah untuk mengatasi masalah berdua-duan dalam kalangan pelajar sekolah. Pengkaji telah menggunakan beberapa kaedah kajian iaitu termasuklah kaedah temubual dan kaedah perpustakaan bagi mendapatkan maklumat mengenai berpasangan atau berdua-duaan dalam kalangan pelajar sekolah. Kesimpulannya, masalah berdua-duaan atau berpasang-pasangan di sekolah semamamngnya berada di tahap yang membimbangkan. Ini adalah kerana masalah ini merupakan suatu masalah yang tiada satu sekolah pun terlepas daripadanya termasuklah sekolah menengah agama. Sekiranya perkara ini tidak dikawal ianya akan membawa kepada permasalahan gejala sosial remaja seperti lari rumah, buang anak, keruntuhan akhlak, dan lemah dalam pelajaran. Masyarakat, media massa, dan ibu bapa memainkan peranan penting dalam mengatasi masalah ini.
Problem of Couple among School Students
Abstract: The problem of couple mostly involves adolescents aged 16 years and over which at this age teens are in the final rank of adolescents. The conflicts that apply in this phase are very important because they are able to influence one's future as they mature. The problem of being together or in pairs is a very difficult problem even in any school. The objective of the study is to examine the factors, the impression of a problem, and the steps to overcome problems together in school students. The reviewer has used a number of study methods including the social and library methods to obtain information about pairs or partners in school students. In conclusion, the problem of being alone or in pairs at school is at a very confusing stage. This is because this problem is a problem that not even one school apart from including a religious secondary school. If this case is not guarded it will lead to problems of adolescent social symptoms such as running away, throwing away children, moral collapse, and weakness in learning. Society, mass media, and mother and father play an important role in overcoming this problem.

Brain Operated Wheelchair Using a Single Electrode EEG Device and BCI
This paper predominantly explains the use of a simplistic uni-polar device to obtain EEG for the development of a Brain-Computer Interface (BCI). In contrast, BCI's eye-blinking stimuli can also be obtained. Consequently, focus and eye-blinking stimuli can be captured as control pulses in electric wheelchairs via a computer interface and electrical interface. Analysis of the Age Replacement Method to Reduce Tool Downtime
A manufacturing company engaged in the manufacturing of diesel engines in Indonesia has a problem with high downtime. The most frequent replacement frequency is in the cylinder liner line which in April - June 2018 has 1254 units of replacements, besides that the cylinder liner line also has the highest downtime of 7243.94 minutes. To overcome this problem, it is necessary to schedule tool replacement using the Age Replacement method, where this method is to determine the tool replacement schedule with the least downtime. After that the calculation is done using the Availability method, where the higher the Availability value of a tool, the better the condition of the tool to operate according to its function. And finally the calculation is done using the Reliability method, where the higher the value of the reliability of a tool, the less likely the damage will occur to the tool
Technology Can Save the Environment
The environment is fast degrading. Experts believe that in the nearest future, the environment will collapse, if the current rate of degradation continues. One of the main drivers of this degradation is believed to be technology. This has led to the widespread perception of technology as a curse rather than a blessing to the environment and humanity. This work agrees that technology is one of the main causes of environmental problems but disagrees that technology is a curse. Technology in itself is value-neutral; it is its usage that leads to bad or good consequences. It is the contention of these researchers, that technology when well driven could restore the health of the environment. Technology due to its wrong positioning in the past has caused environmental problems. It could be repositioned to foster environmental health in the future. Technology therefore, has the potential, to restore and heal what it has wounded, when properly driven
Identification of Salmonella sp in Islamic Boarding School in Bath Water Sumbergempol Sudistrict
Salmonella is a bacterium that causes typhoid fever. Salmonella sp is able to live in water, dry waste, dust and if these bacteria live in a suitable living place then the bacteria multiply reach infective dose. The bathroom water is usually used for various things one of them gargling it allows the pathogenic bacteria left in the mouth and swallowed into the digestive tract so causing abdominal pain and fever. The purpose of this study is to determine whether there are Salmonella sp bacteria in the bathwater bath in the boarding school. This research is descriptive research. Which was held on 7 to 10 May 2018 at the Microbiology Laboratory DIII Health Analyst STIKes Hutama Abdi Husada Tulungagung. Population in this research is all boarding school existing in Sumbergempol District, sampling technique in this research is total sampling, which obtained as many as 6 samples of boarding school. The instruments used are sterile tube, measuring pipette, incubator, plate, plate agar medium, aquadest, oven and laboratory equipment required. The results obtained that from 6 samples, 1 positive Salmonella sp bacteria and 5 samples of Salmonella sp bacteria. The results of the research are then analyzed descriptively. Based on the results of the study it can be concluded that 16.67% positive Salmonella sp identified and 83.33% negative or unidentified Salmonella sp. The presence of Salmonella sp in the bathroom tub is caused by a bathroom tub that has a distance with a septic tank less than 10 meters. Research on the identification of bacteria other than Salmonella sp is also needed to know the presence or absence of other bacteria that exist in the water bathtub boarding school District Sumbergempol
International Humanitarian Law and Military Intervention: Reflections on Operation Allied Forces in the Former Federal Republic of Yugoslavia in 1999
Military intervention is a crucial tool used to compel nation states to abide by the principles of international law. The United Nations, through its Charter (Chapter VII) authorises the use of force by the UN and or regional organisations as a legitimate scheme of settling international disputes. A closer look on the majority of these interventions, however, shows that the conduct of the forces taking part in these interventions turn to violate some crucial principles of international law. Additional Protocol 1 of 1977 to the 1949 Geneva protocols provides for the regulations in terms of the conduct of forces in an armed conflict to minimise civilian carnage and injuries as well as damage on civilian objects. This paper assessed the effectiveness of International Humanitarian Law (IHL) in cases of a military intervention. The study was a case study focusing on the experiences of the North Atlantic Treaty Organisation (NATO) forces that intervened in the former Federal Republic of Yugoslavia (FRY) in 1999. The study depended on secondary sources of information. The paper reveals that forces taking part in these operations normally harm civilian population and objects beyond reasonable proportion if they do not pay attention to the details on the ground. The paper then recommends that more should be done to uphold and adhere to the provisions of Chapter VI of the UN Charter while ensuring that forces taking part in military interventions are parties to key international legislations that govern their conduct to prevent states from purposefully violate the law
Faktor Utama Vandalisme dalam Kalangan Pelajar di Sekolah
Di Malaysia, tingkah laku merosakkan harta benda di tempat awam dikategorikan sebagai salah laku yang berat dan serius. Objek kajian ini iaitu mengenalpasti faktor berlakunya masalah vandalisme dalam kalangan pelajar sekolah, menjelaskan kesan-kesan vandalisme kepada pelajar dan pihak sekolah, mengenalpasti langkah-langkah yang diambil oleh pihak sekolah dan pihak keluarga untuk mengatasi masalah vandalisme dalam kalangan pelajar sekolah, dan mengenalpasti cabaran yang dihadapi oleh pihak sekolah dalam mengatasi masalah vandalisme ini. Kaedah yang digunakan oleh pengkaji dalam kajian ini adalah dengan menggunakan kaedah temu bual untuk mendapatkan maklumat. Hasil temu bual ditulis semula serta disokong dengan beberapa rujukan daripada jaringan internet dan sumber-sumber ilmiah. Kaedah temu bual yang pengkaji gunakan ialah temu bual semi-struktur. Kesimpulannya, masalah gejala vandalisme dalam kalangan pelajar sekolah mahupun remaja di Malaysia dilihat tidaklah terlalu teruk, namun jika masalah ini tidak dipandang serius ia boleh memberi impak yang besar kepada negara. Masalah vandalisme yang melanda remaja pada masa kini adalah dipengaruhi oleh beberapa faktor. Antara faktor-faktor tersebut ialah masalah institusi keluarga, persekitaran dan sebagainya
