A Design Remote Control System to Feed Birds Using ESP8266
Get PDFKeeping lovebirds at home becomes one of hobbies that is fascinating to some people. Keeping them as pets means educate us to be regular people, particularly related to the process of food provision. Innovation on feeding bird is required such as automatic feeding which can be controlled from far areas. It will be very beneficial when the lovebird keepers are not at home. Therefore, this study develops at designing an automatic system for feeding birds completed with remote control. For this reason, the researcher used ESP8266 connected to NODEMCU as the hardware and BLYNK server as the control bridge of internet. The data would then be transmitted from smartphone to esp8266 system to control the feeding process. In the context of feeding process, the researcher used RTC-clock owned by BLYNK server to substitute RTC as the hardware. Automation system of food provision was carried out by synchronizing the data of hours from the users. The research data were used to design feeder bucket which could give food around 7.2-52.8 grams and feeder bucket for accommodating food about 6.2-48.3 grams. The results of control and connection via BLYNK server demonstrated that 90% data were connected. In terms of data accuracy, this automatic feeder could be accurately 100% successful in a certain time
Teaching Programming Using the Robot-Based Learning Approach
Get PDFThis paper discusses learning theories, STEM, educational robotics as well as the current generation of students found in classrooms by reviewing previous and current academic literature on these topics, to assist in ascertaining the current advancements and theories related to the Robot-based learning approach as well as how these advancements have helped improve this approach and enabled educators to better make use of it. Furthermore, this paper reviews previous academic literature on computer programming to discuss the current learning approaches in use and the kind of learning tools being utilized. Once this topics are reviewed the reader can have a clear picture of the learning approach, what learning theory does it belong too, the type of students found in the classroom as well as what motivates them and the subject that is being taught as well as the different learning tools for this subject. The reader will also learn why improving the effectiveness of how programming is learned helps create more students good in STEM and how it assists in realising the Malaysian Educational Development Plan. This paper reviewed literature from the year 2014 and above as the information is more relevant and current, except for literature that is from a leading or renowned individual in any field that is being discussed in this dissertation
Sistem Temujanji Interaktif Berasaskan WEB
Get PDFKajian ini menghasilkan sistem berasaskan web yang bertujuan untuk memudahkan penepatan temujanji bagi pensyarah Jabatan Komputeran, Fakulti Seni, Komputeran dan Industri Kreatif dan pelajar program Kejuruteraan Perisian (AC10) yang dikenali sebagai AC10 Appointment System. Tujuan utama pembangunan sistem ini adalah untuk memudahkan pelajar membuat temujanji dengan pensyarah dengan lebih teratur dan tersusun disamping memudahkan urusan pensyarah menerima termujanji yang akan dibuat oleh pelajar. Sistem ini telah dibangunkan dengan menggunakan metodologi prototaip. Instrumen soal selidik telah digunakan untuk menguji fungsi dan kebolehgunaan AC10 Appointment System. Seramai 20 orang pelajar dari program Kejuruteraan Perisian telah dipilih sebagai respondent untuk kajian ini. Hasil kajian ini mendapati bahawa sistem berasaskan web AC10 Appointment System diterima dengan baik dan berharap sistem ini dapat digunakan bagi memudahkan urusan membut temujanji di antara pensyarah dan pelajar.
Web-Based Interactive Appoinment System
Abstract: This study produces a web-based system that aims to facilitate appointment planning for lecturers of the Department of Computer, Faculty of Arts, Computers and Creative Industry and students of Software Engineering program (AC10) known as AC10 Appointment System. The main purpose of the development of this system is to facilitate students to make appointments with lecturers in a more organized and organized while facilitating the affairs of lecturers to accept the promises that will be made by students. This system was developed using a prototype methodology. Questionnaire instruments were used to test the functionality and usability of the AC10 Appointment System. A total of 20 students from the Software Engineering program were selected as respondents for this study. The results of this study found that the web-based system AC10 Appointment System was well received and hoped that this system could be used to facilitate the appointment of lecturers and students
The Relationship between Academic Procrastination and Academic Performance of Freshmen Students from a Teacher Education Institution
Get PDFThe academic environment is full of challenges and obstacles. With this idea, students promote some unconventional practices in studying. One of which is academic procrastination. This study analyzed the relationship between academic procrastination and academic performance of freshmen students from a teacher education institution. The researcher used a descriptive-correlational research design for this study. Ninety (90) freshmen students took part in the survey using a convenience sampling technique in the academic year of 2018-2019. This study used an adapted instrument for data gathering through a survey. The study also utilized SPSS 20 to analyze the data. Results showed that the respondents procrastinate in their academic activities. In terms of academic performance, professional education subjects got the lowest rating score and the major subjects got the highest. In addition, the program, scholarship status, and religion of the respondents got significant statistical differences. Furthermore, the study also obtained a low indirect relationship between academic procrastination, general education subjects, and professional education subjects. From the findings of the study, the researcher provided pertinent recommendations for parents, students, instructors, and the institution

People apply the pulverized fruits to the skin that will be exposed to sunlight. Antioxidant bioassay method (DPPH) is used to prove the effectiveness of the fruits.Baccaurea lanceolata fruitsvwere extracted by 70% ethanol, followed by fractionation with n-hexane, ether, ethyl acetate and methanol to give n-hexane (fr-H), ether (fr. Et2O), ethyl acetate (fr. EtOAc) and methanol (fr. MeOH) fractions respectively. Preparative TLC (SiO2) of the fr. EtOAc that showed the the highest antioxidant activity among those fractions. Based on spectroscopic data and comparison with reported data, the isolated compounds were identified as β-Sitosterol

Article 74 of Law Number 40 of 2007 affirms that companies that carry out their business activities in the field of natural resources and / or fields related to natural resources must implement Corporate Social Responsibility. However, the implementation of Corporate Social Responsibility of these private companies is very minimal felt by the community because Pelalawan Regency is the second most populous region in Riau Province. This research aims to explain the legal issues in the implementation of Corporate Social Responsibility of private companies to improve community welfare in Pelalawan Regency, Riau Province. The method used in this research is socio-legal research. The results of this research explain that there are several legal issues that cause the implementation of Corporate Social Responsibility of private companies in Pelalawan Regency not running optimally, namely the absence of local regulations that specifically regulate Corporate Social Responsibility in Pelalawan Regency, the lack of supervision from the government regions, the lack of legal knowledge of the Pelalawan Regency community regarding Corporate Social Responsibility, and the absence of strict criminal sanctions for companies that do not implement Corporate Social Responsibility in Regional Regulation No. 6 of 2012 concerning Corporate Social Responsibility in Riau Provinc

Get PDFMasalah tingkah laku vape dalam kalangan awal remaja iaitu remaja yang berumur 12 tahun ke bawah dan 12 tahun keatas adalah satu perkara yang membimbangkan di dalam kalangan pelajar sekolah di Malaysia. Objektif kajian ini iaitu untuk menghuraikan punca berlakunya masalah vape, mengenal pasti strategi, pendekatan atau cadangan untuk mengurangkan masalah vape di sekolah, mengenal pasti keberkesanan sesi kaunseling terhadap pelajar yang terlibat dalam gejala vape, mengenal pasti kesan vape ke atas pelajar peringkat awal remaja, dan untuk mengkaji tahap perkembangan masalah vape di sekolah. Kaedah kajian ini meliputi reka bentuk kajian, instrument kajian dan prosedur atau proses menganalisis data bagi menjawab persoalan-persoalan kajian yang telah dikemukakan lebih awal. Dapatan kajian yang boleh disimpulkan menurut Ustaz Tengku perkembangan vape disekolah adalah semakin meningkat dan ia sukar dikawal. Hal ini demikian kerana wujudnya vape yang sukar untuk dikenal. Fenomena penggunaan vape menjadi ikutan anak muda dan kanak-kanak. Hal ini amat membimbangkan kerana ia bertentangan dengan Pelan Strategik Kebangsaan Bagi Kawalan Tembakau 2015-2020 dengan misi menjadikan Malaysia negara bebas daripada sebarang bentuk amalan merokok menjelang 2045.
Vape Problems in School among Early Teens
Abstract: Vape behavior problems among early adolescents who are 12 and under 12 are a concern among Malaysian schoolchildren. The objectives of this study were to identify the causes of vape problems, identify strategies, approaches or recommendations for reducing vape problems in schools, identify the effectiveness of counseling sessions for students involved in vape symptoms, identify vape effects on early adolescent students, and to study the developmental stages of vape problems in schools. The research methods include study design, instrumentation and data analysis procedures or processes to answer the research questions that were presented earlier. The findings of the study that can be concluded according to Ustaz Tengku the development of vape school are increasing and it is difficult to control. This is because of the vape that is difficult to identify. The phenomenon of the use of vape has been traced to young people and children. This is alarming as it goes against the National Strategic Plan for Tobacco Control 2015-2020 with the mission of making Malaysia a country free from any form of smoking by 2045.

Get PDFThis research presents the design and development of a chicken egg incubator. The aim is to design and construct an “Intelligent Egg Incubator” that can hatch chicken eggs automatically. In the design, author used a temperature control system that controls the temperature of the incubator. This system consists of a temperature sensor, heating and cooling elements and a controller. If the temperature of the incubator exceeds a certain value, the cooling unit will operate to reduce the temperature while if the temperature goes below another threshold value, the heating element will start to operate to increase the temperature. Furthermore, author used a motion sensor to detect the movements of the eggs. If there is a movement inside the incubator, the owner of the incubator will get the notification about the conditions of the egg

Councilor oversight is a crucial function for promoting and enhancing transparency, accountability, effectiveness and efficiency in Zimbabwean local authorities. Despite the existence of councilor oversight, local authorities in Zimbabwe continue to face operational, regulatory and oversight challenges. To establish the factors militating against effective councilor oversight at Nkayi, the respondents were purposively selected and the research used both primary and secondary data. The study established that low academic qualifications among councilors, councilors terms of office, political affiliation and partisanship and limited timeframes as the key impediments to effective councilor oversight at Nkayi Rural District Council
