DUNEX Flux Profile
Direct flux measurements collected at The Army Corp Field Research Facility, Duck, NC, during the DUring Nearshore Event eXperiment (DUNEX). Data were collected from a beach tower approximately 50 m from the mean waterline. The data were recorded at 20 Hz with four Gill R3-50 sonic anemometer, at 14.4, 18.4, 22.4, and 26.4 m above mean water level. This data provided here are mean meteorological and derived variables. If you are interested in the high frequency data (u', v', w', t') please contact [email protected] directly
Replication Data for A GeoAI‑based Analytical Platform for Modeling Socioeconomic, Health, and Environmental Dynamics in Hays County, Texas.
This replication dataset supports the article "A GeoAI‑based Analytical Platform for Modeling Socioeconomic, Health, and Environmental Dynamics in Hays County, Texas." It contains the processed geospatial data and interactive dashboard files needed to reproduce the study's integrated spatial analysis of environmental, socioeconomic, and health interactions in Hays County.
Data Files
HaysData.geojson – Census‑tract level variables for demographics, housing, environment, and health
https://joshuaokeke.github.io/hayscounty/ – Interactive web dashboard for visualization and analysis
Methodology
Federal data (U.S. Census ACS, CDC PLACES, EPA EJScreen, FEMA NFHL) were harmonized at census‑tract level. The platform performs spatial statistics (Moran’s I, LISA), bivariate mapping, and regression modeling via a web interface.
Purpose
Enables users to:
Explore Hays County vulnerability patterns
Replicate spatial statistical results
Conduct custom analyses
Support equity‑focused plannin

—— Information provided by Don Felipe Martínez y Pinto Infante y Ávila, resident of the city of Toluca, attesting to his status as an hidalgo and of "clean blood". The dossier contains: 1) a certified extract from the parish baptismal register of Zultepec concerning Lucas Mariano, legitimate son of Don Felipe Martínez and Doña Ángela Celedonia de Bretos; 2) a clerical certification stating that in Metepec, on April 24, 1760, Lucas Mariano Agustín received the sacrament of confirmation, identifying his parents and confirming their status as Spaniards and their residence in Toluca; 3) a petition by Don Felipe Martínez y Pinto Infante y Ávila requesting authenticated copies of a royal privilege of arms originally granted to his fifth great-grandfather, in which he affirms the cleanliness of blood of himself, his deceased wife Doña Celedonia Ángela de Bretos Rodríguez de Prado, and their children; 4) a transcription of a royal privilege of arms issued in Madrid in 1538 by Carlos V and Juana I, by which arms are granted to Juan Infante for his military service in Cuba and in New Spain; 5) four testimonies by men in Toluca who uniformly attest to Don Felipe Martínez’s noble status and cleanliness of blood, repeatedly emphasizing that neither he, nor his wife, nor their descendants—explicitly naming Doña María Anna Bernarda—had any association with the Inquisition or with “bad race”; and 6) an official authentication by royal authorities and scribes affirming the legal validity of the dossier. The dossier also contains two painted coat of arms. 23 f. (46 p.

Community Firearm Violence and Dental Care Use in Middle Adulthood: Testa et al.
Prior research links violence inside the home to reduced dental care utilization, yet little is known about how community firearm violence affects dental care behaviors. The current study used data from wave V (2016-2018) of the National Longitudinal Study of Adolescent to Adult Health (Add Health), linked to census tract-level fatal and nonfatal shooting data from the American Violence Project for the 100 largest cities in the United States. The analytic sample included 1925 respondents aged 33-42. The primary outcome was self-reported dental care use in the past year. Firearm violence exposure was categorized as 0, 1, or 2 + shootings in a respondent's census tract over a 2-year period. Logistic regression models were used to estimate the relationship between shootings and dental care use, adjusting for individual sociodemographic factors, prior dental use, violence exposure, and contextual variables including poverty and dentists per capita. Respondents exposed to multiple shootings had significantly lower odds of past-year dental care use (OR = 0.625, 95% CI: 0.418-0.934) compared to those with no exposure, after adjustment. These findings provide new evidence that suggests exposure to neighborhood violence may reduce dental care use, net of key confounding variables. Public health and dental initiatives may consider violence exposure when designing interventions to increase care utilization
