Main text data : Microsphere Dataset (10 µm Beads)
This dataset contains raw lensfree on-chip measurements of 10 µm polystyrene microspheres acquired using a maskless and on-chip LED-array microscope with spatially-varying illumination angle calibration. The dataset includes the raw measurement matrix (.mat), and calibration parameters used to perform phase reconstruction and illumination-angle correction
Characterization of MPs found in Texas Class A Land Applied Biosolids
The dataset here includes information on microplastics (MPs) found in Class A Land-Applied biosolids 'Hou-Actinite' including size, shapes, colors, and chemistry. Size and shapes were characterized by sieving analysis following ASTM standards and ImageJ Particle Analysis protocols. Chemistry was characterized by Raman Spectroscopy. You will find excel files, TIFF files, and spectra files in this dataset.
Comparison of Human and Large Language Model Coded Themes in Patient Comments About Their Care Experience
The themes that arise in patient verbatim comments regarding experience can guide clinician and unit improvements, but traditional qualitative analysis is time-consuming. This study evaluated whether large language models (LLMs) can efficiently identify themes in patient feedback. We analyzed 77 transcribed comments from post-visit telephone surveys in musculoskeletal specialty care grouped by rating: 0, 1-2, and 3-6 on a 0 to 10-point scale. An LLM first generated themes, after which human coders refined and applied these themes to all comments. We compared the themes and theme counts generated by an LLM and by humans using the LLM as a tool. The LLM themes and subthemes that varied by rating category. Human coders consolidated these into three consistent themes across rating categories: trust and relationship, lack of direction, and logistics. The lowest recommendation rating was dominated by relationship concerns, whereas mid-range scores mostly addressed logistical issues. LLM theme counts approximated human counts across groups, suggesting that LLMs can streamline qualitative review while preserving human judgment in refinement
—— Extract of letters reporting on the progress of the California missions and their expansion. He describes the establishment of two new missions at San Francisco and one at San Juan Capistrano, noting logistical challenges such as supplies, soldiers for escorts, the need for church ornaments and bells, and the growth in the number of Indigenous converts. He also notes abundant harvests and gardens that provided food for both missionaries and soldiers, and the eventual peaceful resolution of disputes over rations and supplies. 4 f. (8 p.
DUNEX Nearshore
Direct flux measurements collected at The Army Corp Field Research Facility, Duck, NC, during the DUring Nearshore Event eXperiment (DUNEX) for August 2021 to January 2023. Data were collected from the end of the Field Research Facility pier which is approximately 500 m offshore and on a beach tower. The data were recorded at 20 Hz with a Campbell Scientific IRGASON (integrated infrared gas analyzer and sonic anemometer) at 14.4 m above mean water level on the pierhead and four Gill R3-50 sonic anemometers at 14.4, 18.4, 22.4, and 26.m above mean water level on the beach tower. This data provided here are mean meteorological and derived variables. If you are interested in the high frequency data (u', v', w', t') please contact [email protected] directly
Labeled Zebra Finch Songs
30 random song files from a single day of recording for each of 36 adult male zebra finches. Bird's experimental conditions and song tutors can be found in Bird_list.csv
Each bird's .zip contains 30 .wav files of song, 30 .not.mat files with song annotations generated using the *evsonganaly* GUI in MATLAB, and a .csv file called '[Bird_ID]_syll_df_evsonganaly.csv' with all annotations from all files in the folder.
Each row in this .csv represents a single syllable. The 'files' column has the name of the .wav containing that syllable, the 'onsets' and 'offsets' columns have the timestamps of the syllable onset and offset within the .wav file in milliseconds, and the 'labels' column contains the manual annotation of that syllable type. Syllables labeled 'i' represent introductory notes. Otherwise, the labeling characters are arbitrary
