No full textWe consider an experimental architecture where one or more gNBs (i.e., a combination of RU, DU and CU) with an E2 interface connect to one near-RT RIC. Each gNB is able to support multiple traffic slices. In our experiment, we choose to use three broad 5G slices: enhanced mobile broadband (eMBB), massive machine type communication (mMTC), and ultra reliable low latency communication (URLLC). UEs are assigned to the appropriate traffic slices. The gNB records a wide range of Key Performance Indicators (KPIs) and periodically reports these KPIs to an xApp in the near-RT RIC. For each traffic slice, we generate both normal traffic and attack traffic that comprises anomalies
Smarter Intersections Pilot Project
No full textThe Smarter Intersections Pilot Project deployed and tested smart infrastructure technology in College Station, Texas to achieve to main goals: 1) Improve intersection safety and mobility for vulnerable road users, pedestrians, bicyclists, and those using other mobility devices, including people with mobility and visual disabilities, and 2) Demonstrate that the technology functions as proposed. The project used Cellular Vehicle-to-Everything (C-V2X) units at five intersections in tandem with on-board units (OBUs) in transit and emergency response vehicles to alert VRUs using crosswalks and bike lanes of turning buses and emergency vehicles through auditory and visual cues. It also explored incorporating that information into a Smart Phone application that blind/low-vision people can use to navigate an intersection. Further, the project simulated how the information can be communicated to an automated shuttle approaching an intersection

No full textThis 3DEM dataset was acquired from the dentate gyrus region of the rat hippocampus and was used for the paper titled "Perisynaptic astroglial response to in vivo long-term potentiation and concurrent long-term depression in the hippocampal dentate gyrus". The dataset consists of four components: (1) serial-section EM images, (2) corresponding PyReconstruct trace files (.jser) for each image series, (3) .blend files containing 3D reconstructions of tripartite synapses (axon, spine, postsynaptic density, and perisynaptic astroglia), and (4) a .csv file summarizing quantitative measurements extracted for statistical analysis.
