Data and results of air trapping simulations
This technical report provides data and results in support of Lokhandwala et al. (2025), which uses the US Environmental Protection Agency Storm Water Management Model (EPA SWMM) to evaluate the initiation of air trapping between two manholes. Presented herein are data graphics of the simulation set for the entrapped air volume, , against inflow bias, , along with metrics of against both the relative inflow, , and the entrapping flow, . Comparisons of envelope centroid metric ) of the trapped volume envelope () show that the centroid metric is a minor contributor to trapping. Effects of manhole diameter, which are neglected in Lokhandwala et al. (2025) are explored and shown to be irrelevant for typical scales of manhole diameter to conduit diameter. Also, effects of gradual rise in inflows at both junctions are studied and the choice of using sharp inflows in the analysis of Lokhandwala et al. (2025) is justified. Note that the full test set included 15 different bottom slopes over the range , but reported results are limited to the set as the other slope cases do not provide any significant insights into behaviors
Simulation of seep flares offshore Pakistan
Input files, simulation scripts, and output data for simulations of natural seeps offshore Pakistan, as reported in Roemer et al. (2012)
Halting the Aging Clock in Asphalt Binders: Past, Present, and Future
This presentation takes a look at the historical arc of investigations into oxidative aging in asphalt binders as well as the present and future directions to develop oxidation resistant asphalt binders
Single Fiber Mechanics
This data set contains single PCL fiber mechanics from a three point bending test
2 Replication Data for: Experiment 2
These videos were taken in a GEC reference cell (Cell2 BU at CASPER labs, Baylor University). The videos were taken with a Grasshopper3 cammera with a 100mm lens. The camera is looking down through the top of the cell at the target dusty surface. A stingray laser is optically shaped into a sheet. The sheet is oriented perpendicular to the target surface and then scanned across the surface
SWAT Literature Database
Welcome to the SWAT Literature Database for Peer-Reviewed Journal Articles. The database is an outgrowth of the “SWAT review article” that was published in Trans. ASABE in 2007
(Gassman et al., 2007), that can be accessed at https://swat.tamu.edu/publications/
(Comprehensive review of SWAT model article). Gassman et al (2014) provided description of the types of studies included, database structure, search options and other details for the database at that time (1,700 articles were indexed at that point
Dr. Raghavan Srinivasan (https://blackland.tamu.edu/people/srinivasan-raghavan/) provided
the initial inspiration for the database. Mr. Curtis Balmer, Center for Agricultural and Rural Development (CARD), Iowa State University (ISU), created and maintained the on-line database
from 2009 through the middle of 2022 (until his untimely death). Administration of the database was transferred to Texas A&M AgriLife on October 1, 2024 and is now accessible at
