Realizaron confirmaciones falsas y otros rituales religiosos, incluyendo una misa y comunión con tortillas. En el cuarto día, mientras inspeccionaba su campo de maíz, Agustín fue atacado brutalmente por un oso, sufriendo heridas graves que resultaron en su muerte. Antes de morir, expresó remordimiento por sus acciones a su hermano y a su hijo. They performed mock confirmations and other religious rituals, including a mass and communion with tortillas. On the fourth day, while inspecting his cornfield, Agustín was viciously attacked by a bear, suffering severe injuries that led to his death.
