Database used in Machine Learning Methods to Map Stabilizer Effectiveness based on Common Soil Properties
This database consists of the unconfined compressive strength (UCS) of chemically stabilized soil along with data such as percentage of sand, silty, and clay, Liquid Limit (LL), Plastic Limit (PL), Plasticity Index (PI), percentage of stabilizer, and organic content. All of these data were digitized from the reports, articles, dissertations, etc. that are listed in the journal related to this database.
The UCS values are provided for 7 days soaked, 7 days unsoaked, 28 days Soaked, and 28 days unsoaked strength for 237 sample
Laboratory Evidence of Transient Pressure Surge in a Fluid-Filled Fracture as a Potential Driver of Remote Dynamic Earthquake Triggering
We upload the data in the paper " Laboratory Evidence of Transient Pressure Surge in a Fluid-Filled Fracture as a Potential Driver of Remote Dynamic Earthquake Triggering" accepted by The Seismic Recordin
Bone Ablation Data for BOE 2021 paper
Data for the following paper:
Subramanian, K., L. Andrus, and A. Ben-Yakar, “Ultrafast laser surgery probe with a calcium fluoride miniaturized objective for bone ablation,” Biomedical Optics Express, 2021.
This file contains the raw profilometry data used to evaluate the ablation performance of the probe described in Subramanian et. al., BOE, 2021.
Analysis of this data is shown in Fig. 4 of Subramanian et. al., BOE, 2021.
Individual datasets consist of 3D profiles of ablation trenches created on the surface of bovine rib bones for multiple experimental conditions.
Datasets are formatted as follows:
X_Y_Z_n.asc
X = average power (in Watts). Repetition rate of laser is 303 kHz. Divide pulse energy by beam area (w0 = 1.96 um) to determine fluence.
Y = voltage output of wave function generator driving piezo. Related to FOV scan width. 3V = 30 um, 6V = 66 um, 9V = 92 um
Z = translation speed of the sample relative to probe tip (in mm/s). Piezo-scanned FOV is translated in 1D @ a speed = Z.
n = alphanumeric identifier for datasets (i.e., ablation trenches) acquired using the same conditions, i.e., same fluence, FOV scan width, and translation speed
Histology Data
This data set also contains histology images of mouse skin stained with Masson Trichrome stain. It contains 80 total .tif files that are named to provide information on the sample. The name of each image provides details on the sample including subject age (i.e., young = 12 weeks, aged = 52 weeks), subject number, and sample location (i.e., dorsal or ventral). For each sample, we took multiple images at different locations (e.g., Image1, Image2, etc). Samples were fixed in 10% neutral buffered formalin for 24 hours, until transferred to 70% ethanol for storage. Samples were shipped to a commercial histology service (Histoserv Inc, Germantown, MD). Images were acquired with a 10x objective on a light microscope setup (BX53 Upright Microscope, Olympus, Tokyo, Japan). Pixel conversion is 1 pixel = 645 nm.
