Hay mención de varias oposiciones de los diocesanos y de cédulas reales proveídas anteriormente sobre el caso. —— Instructions to the Viceroy and the Audiencia of Mexico on the establishment of Franciscan, Augustinian, and Dominican convents in New Spain. The king reiterates that the religious orders do not have to obtain a license from the prelates to erect doctrinas and that these should be erected in areas without a parish to increase the conversion and religious education of the Indigenous.
