    Real and Simulated Lidar Data

    This dataset contains real and simulated lidar data of a simple static scenario where a square and flat lidar target is positioned in front of the sensor at different distances. The real data is captured with an Ouster OS1 lidar sensor. For generating the corresponding simulated data, the [Sensor Model Development Library](https://www.persival.de/smdl) provided by Persival GmbH was used. The implementation of the individual sensor effects was carried out by Kristof Hofrichter, an employee of the FZD at Technical University of Darmstadt. Further information about the data is provided in the metadata.txt file

    We evaluated the effectiveness of the BATEX system in reducing metabolic cost exclusively at 100% PWS of the No-Exo condition. At this speed, muscle activity and metabolic cost were measured under three conditions: (1) the No-Exosuit condition, where participants walked without the exosuit; (2) the No-Assistance condition as Zero-Torque, where participants wore the exosuit without the rubber bands engaged; (3) the Assisted Exosuits condition, where participants walked with the exosuit using the tuned parameters from the previous experiment

    The dataset contains the MATLAB code used to create the plots in the paper "A General Approach to the Linear Stability of Viscoelastic Shear-Flows". The file Spectra.m can be run to create the eigenvalue spectra, while Maxwell_neutralCurve.m plots the neutral. Both of which access the Maxwell.m and polymat.m file. Additional files that are required to run the files are balance2.m for balancing the generalized eigenvalue problem, cheb.m (from the Chebfun library) for calculating the Chebychev points and differentiation matrices clencurct.m (from the Chebfun library) for calculating the Clenshaw Curtis quadrature weights. The Kelvin.m file is standalone and plots the Kelvin modes

    Input files for simulations with SolidLBM

    This data set contains the input files for the simulations conducted as part of the doctoral thesis. The files are: Python scripts for running simulations (lattice Boltzmann, finite elements) to produce raw data and the input files defining the specific simulation; and Python scripts for the post-processing of raw data and figure preparation. This needs the SolidLBM- or SolidLBMeval-module, repsectively. Input files are text-files with different file extensions (.geo, .par, .bc, .toml) that describe parameters of the simulation. Additionally, .msh and .bc_alt files are generated by the 'mesher'-module of SolidLBM and are needed as input for the 'solver'. The FE simulations require a ,toml file as input for the parameters. The raw data is produced either as .vtu files (LB) or .xdmf files with HDF5 (FE). Examples of the produced raw output data is given for the TRT convergence study in trt-convergence-study.tar. Otherwise, the scripts and input files are sufficient to run simulations and produce the output data. The scripts for post-processing of data produce plots as visulisations of the simulation results. Intermediate results are saved as .npz (Numpy archives) for faster reproduction of plots without recalculation. Examples of this are also included in trt-convergence-study.tar. The TRT parameter study (trt-param-study.tar) further builds upon the evaluation of data compiled in a spreadsheet (.ods).This data set contains the input files for the simulations conducted as part of the doctoral thesis

    Evaluation: Transcript of the interview with a project manager for the dismantling of core systems at a nuclear power plant

    Background: As part of the doctoral thesis "XR-KIS: An Extended Reality-based Information System for Knowledge Management in Nuclear Facilities," expert interviews were conducted for both requirements analysis and evaluation. The aim of the evaluation was to determine the extent to which the developed XR-KIS application is applicable to different nuclear facilities, as intended in the concept, in light of its implementation in the Mont Terri underground rock laboratory in Switzerland. Half of the interview partners had already been interviewed during the requirements phase, which ensures a balanced ratio of experts who were familiar with the concept from the outset and those who only became acquainted with the application after its completion. Regarding the transcript "Interview with a project manager for the dismantling of core systems at a nuclear power plant": The expert worked for many years as a systems and components manager at a nuclear power plant. Following the shutdown of the plant, he is now the project manager for the dismantling of its core systems. The evaluation discussion focused largely on the functions that XR-KIS provides for nuclear power plants and how these are mapped in software already in use at his site. This direct comparison highlights the innovative potential of XR-KIS and its ability to connect to existing software environments.     Evaluation: Transkript des Interviews mit einem Projektleiter für den Abbau von Großkomponenten in einem Kernkraftwerk

    Hintergrund: Im Rahmen des Dissertationsprojekts „XR-KIS: An Extended Reality-based Information System for Knowledge Management in Nuclear Facilities“ wurden zur Anforderungsanalyse sowie zur Evaluation Experteninterviews durchgeführt. Ziel der Evaluation war es, anhand der Umsetzung im Felslabor Mont Terri in der Schweiz zu ermitteln, inwieweit der entwickelte XR-KIS-Prototyp wie im Konzept vorgesehen auf verschiedene kerntechnische Anlagen anwendbar ist. Die Hälfte der Interviewpartner war bereits während der Anforderungsphase befragt worden, wodurch ein ausgewogenes Verhältnis zwischen Experten, die das Konzept von Anfang an kannten, und solchen, die die Anwendung erst nach ihrer Fertigstellung kennenlernten, gewährleistet ist. Zum Transkript "Interview mit einem Projektleiter für den Abbau von Großkomponenten in einem Kernkraftwerk": Der Experte arbeitete viele Jahre als System- und Komponentenverantwortlicher in einem Kernkraftwerk. Nach dessen Stilllegung ist er nun Projektleiter für den Rückbau der Kernsysteme. Die Diskussionsrunde zur Evaluation konzentrierte sich vor allem auf die Funktionen, die XR-KIS für Kernkraftwerke bereitstellt, und darauf, wie diese in der bereits an seinem Standort eingesetzten Software abgebildet sind. Dieser direkte Vergleich verdeutlicht das Innovationspotenzial von XR-KIS und die Möglichkeit, es in bestehende Softwareumgebungen zu integrieren.
