    The goal of this literature review is to Compare and contrast the types of quantitative research approaches used to conduct studies on the relationship between motivation and IT project success. Additionally, the secondary goal is to Examine and discuss the issues of sampling, validity, reliability, and bias within these contexts. Wester, Borders, Boul, and Horton (2013) define research as, "An activity conducted to increase knowledge by systematically collecting, analyzing, and interpreting data to answer carefully formulated questions about publicly observable phenomena." (p. 280). Research is a critical part of the scientific method that allows our society and species to understand the world around us. Research can be divided into multiple categories. The two predominant research categories are qualitative and quantitative. Simply making the choice between quantitative and qualitative research is a challenge that deadlocks many research projects. Students struggle with this very dilemma, often changing the direction of their research multiple times before settling on a solid direction

    Discrimination of Textures Using Texton Patterns

    Textural patterns can often be used to recognize familiar objects in an image or retrieve images with similar texture from a database. Texture patterns can provide significant and abundance of texture and shape information. One of the recent significant and important texture features called Texton represents the various patterns of image which is useful in texture analysis. The present paper is an extension of our previous paper [1]. The present paper divides the 3 D7; 3 neighbourhood into two different 2 D7; 2 neighbourhood grids each consist four pixels. On this 2 D7; 2 grids shape descriptor indexes (SDI) are evaluated separately and added to form a Total Shape Descriptor Index Image (TSDI). By deriving textons on TSDI image Total Texton Shape Matrix (TTSM) image is formed and Grey Level Co-Occurence Matrix (GLCM) parameters are derived on it for efficient texture discrimination.     Collaborative cloud computing involves providing cloud services on globally distributed resources belonging to different organizations in a cooperative manner. Resource management and allocation in Collaborative Cloud is challenging because of the heterogeneity of the resources. The other challenge is guaranteeing the Quality of Service (QOS) and availability of these resources. Users2019; resource demands have to be managed properly to ensure acceptable QOS. In this paper, we propose a method for effective management and allocation of resources using machine learning and using multi attribute tuning. The method has been simulated in cloud-sim as well as implemented on Amazon work space and results show that the proposed method performs better than reputation based algorithms

    Hybrid Genetic Algorithms for Scheduling High-Speed Multimedia Systems

    It has been observed that most conventional operating systems could not cope with the scheduling of multimedia tasks owing to the large size of these files. For instance, processing of multimedia tasks using the traditional operating systems are fraught with problems such as low quality of service and delay jitters. In order to address these problems, a scheduling algorithm christened hybrid genetic algorithm for multimedia task scheduling (HGAMTS) was developed. It employed heuristic knowledge of the problem domain to model a hybrid genetic algorithm in a multiprocessor environment. The system is made up of the scheduler model and the task model. The scheduler model consist a centralized dynamic scheduling scheme. In this scheme, all tasks arrive at a central processor (scheduler). The model has a minimum of five and maximum of ten processors. Attached to each processor is a dispatch queue

The correct and timely assessment of testability can lead to improvisation of software testing process. Though many researchers and quality controllers have proved its importance, but still the research has not gained much momentum in emphasizing the need of making testability analysis necessary during all software development phases. In this paper we review and analyse the factors affecting testability estimation of object oriented software systems during design and analysis phase of development life cycle. Wireless sensors networks (WSNs) can operate in harsh environments in which actual monitoring by human being are risky, inefficient and sometimes infeasible. This is the main advantages of WSN. In most of the cases, replenishment of batteries might be impossible. That2019;s why lifetime of WSN shows a very strong dependency on battery lifetime. So an important issue in sensor networks is power scarcity, which depends on battery size and weight limitations of WSN node. Energy-aware algorithms are designed for extending the lifetime of wireless sensor network. Different mechanisms can be used to optimize the energy of sensors and they have a great impact on prolonging the network lifetime.     Virtual classroom is an irreplaceable part of distant learning systems and an important direction in the online education research field. A number of research works have been carried out in this area and many of them have been successfully implemented. However, most of them are video tutorial-based learning portal and video streaming classroom. In this paper, a model of real-time interactive virtual classroom has been proposed and implemented that provides real-time interactive classes with the collaboration of teacher and students in a single portal. It allows some responsive and co-operative tools that help teachers and students to interact easily irrespective of their distance. This virtual classroom has been designed to focus on the learners living is remote areas who cannot access the modern amenities of education. One of the main research goals is to provide the effective teaching and learning system where the distance between teacher and students can be reduced. Moreover, this paper makes some analysis and discussion about the testing and effectiveness of virtual classroom and analyzes the learning outcome
