An Optimal Factor Analysis Approach to Improve the Wavelet-based Image Resolution Enhancement Techniques
The existing wavelet-based image resolution enhancement techniques have many assumptions, such as limitation of the way to generate low-resolution images and the selection of wavelet functions, which limits their applications in different fields. This paper initially identifies the factors that effectively affect the performance of these techniques and quantitatively evaluates the impact of the existing assumptions. An approach called Optimal Factor Analysis employing the genetic algorithm is then introduced to increase the applicability and fidelity of the existing methods. Moreover, a new Figure of Merit is proposed to assist the selection of parameters and better measure the overall performance. The experimental results show that the proposed approach improves the performance of the selected image resolution enhancement methods and has potential to be extended to other methods
Anti-Fraud Schema System for Identification and Prevention of Fraud Behaviors in E-Commerce Services
This study aims to determine the best practices and provide a model of the technical solutions that can effectively and systematically limit fraudulent transactions of online orders in e-commerce services, using the methods of analytical mining and case studies. Based on a process of fraud prevention and detection performed in the e-business Dangdang, Inc., a leading online retailer in China, twelve identifying features of fraudulent order data were extracted and compiled into a feature matrix. Logistic regression with this matrix was then used to build a model to judge if an order was fraudulent. The model was tested using various order data with machine learning techniques to meet the requirements of being effective, correct, adaptive, and persistent. Then an online detection and prevention schema was established and the hypothesis of so-called Behavior Pattern Change Assumption (BPCA) was proven. The results show the model can detect 94% of fraudulent orders. The Anti-fraud Schema System established for Dangdang is shown to be the best model for the determination and prevention of fraudulent behaviors in the e-commerce services

ECARDM: Energy Consumption Aware Route Discovery for Multicasting in Mobile Ad hoc Networks
Consideration of energy consumption in the case of wireless ad hoc networks leads to effective reduction of energy consumption by the nodes and increases the lifetime of the batteries for nodes. It is imperative from the existing models that there is significant scope for improvement in the energy-consumption based route discovery models. A model of Fuzzy based marginal energy disbursed multicast route discovery model for MANETs can support in reducing the power consumption has been proposed in our earlier research paper. In the present paper, a contemporary solution termed 201C;Energy Consumption Aware Route Discovery for Multicasting for MANETs201D; has been proposed, which is profoundly a fuzzy reasoning and genetic algorithm based model that focus on both the energy consumption and also the element of end-to-end delay whilst discovering the route. The experimental study of the model in comparison to BWDCMR and GAEEQMR models depicted that the proposed algorithm is very effective and can certainly be result oriented
Guiding Software Developers using Automated Adaptation of Object Ensembles Plug-in
Software developing process has been improving day by day The development process can be affected through different ways like changing the development environment strategies and upcoming technologies In order to save valuable times and to speed up the process we can guide programmer during the development time through providing relevant recommendations There are some strategies that suggest related code snippets and API-items to the software programmers There are some techniques that apply general code searching approaches and some techniques that employ online based repository mining process But it is kind of difficult tasks to guide programmers when they need specific type conversion like adapting existing interfaces from the previously used types as per their demands One of the familiar approaches to guide developers in such a situation is to adapt collections and arrays through automated adaptation of object ensembles But how does it help a novice developer in real time software development that is not explicitly exemplified In this paper we have tried to introduce a system that works as a plug-in tool incorporated with a data mining integrated environment to recommend the relevant interfaces while they look for a type conversion We have a mined repository of respective adapter classes and related APIs from where programmers search their query and get their result using the relevant transformer classes The system that recommends developers entitled automated objective ensembles AOE plug-in From the investigation that we have done we can see that our approach works much better than some of the existing approache
An Intelligent Framework for Natural Language Stems Processing
This work describes an intelligent framework that enables the derivation of stems from inflected words. Word stemming is one of the most important factors affecting the performance of many language applications including parsing, syntactic analysis, speech recognition, retrieval systems, medical systems, tutoring systems, biological systems,2026;, and translation systems. Computational stemming is essential for dealing with some natural language processing such as Arabic Language, since Arabic is a highly inflected language. Computational stemming is an urgent necessity for dealing with Arabic natural language processing. The framework is based on logic programming that creates a program to enabling the computer to reason logically. This framework provides information on semantics of words and resolves ambiguity. It determines the position of each addition or bound morpheme and identifies whether the inflected word is a subject, object, or something else. Position identification (expression) is vital for enhancing understandability mechanisms. The proposed framework adapts bi-directional approaches. It can deduce morphemes from inflected words or it can build inflected words from stems. The proposed framework handles multi-word expressions and identification of names. The framework is based on definiteclause grammar where rules are built according to Arabic patterns (templates) using programming language prolog as predicates in first-order logic. This framework is based on using predicates in firstorder logic with object-oriented programming convention which can address problems of complexity. This complexity of natural language processing comes from the huge amount of storage required. This storage reduces the efficiency of the software system. In order to deal with this complexity, the research uses Prolog as it is based on efficient and simple proof routines. It has dynamic memory allocation of automatic garbage collection. This facility, in addition to relieve th
Towards Developing an Effective Hand Gesture Recognition System for Human Computer Interaction: A Literature Survey
Gesture recognition is a mathematical analysis of movement of body parts (hand / face) done with the help of computing device. It helps computers to understand human body language and build a more powerful link between humans and machines. Many research works are developed in the field of hand gesture recognition. Each works have achieved different recognition accuracies with different hand gesture datasets, however most of the firms are having insufficient insight to develop necessary achievements to meet their development in real time datasets. Under such circumstances, it is very essential to have a complete knowledge of recognition methods of hand gesture recognition, its strength and weakness and the development criteria as well. Lots of reports declare its work to be better but a complete relative analysis is lacking in these works. In this paper, we provide a study of representative techniques for hand gesture recognition, recognition methods and also presented a brief introduction about hand gesture recognition. The main objective of this work is to highlight the position of various recognition techniqueswhich can indirectly help in developing new techniques for solving the issues in the hand gesture recognition systems. Moreover we present a concise description about the hand gesture recognition systems recognition methods and the instructions for future research
Evolution of Object-Oriented Database Systems
Data bases are quintessential part of most modern web and mobile applications. In most part, relational databases dominate the database market but the evolution of object-oriented databases has provided users and developers with an alternative option. Object-oriented databases provide a number of advantages over relational databases like ease of extensibility, custom data models, provision for modelling complex data structures and faster access time. But they do lack in certain areas and have no strict standards and implementation mostly depends upon the vendor. Nevertheless, object-oriented databases are slowly finding their way into database market, especially in the area of large-scale databases. But the long history of relational databases keeps them alive as tough competitor and the future seems to be going towards object-relational databases

Artificial Intelligence and Mind
According to the absence of any indication in favor of the subjective experience in artificial intelligence simulations including a model with many numbers of neurons and synapses, this should be due to the system structure, not the numbers. This structure may be due to an extra dimension with a different information (quale). While the number of transistors is directly proportional to the more complex calculation, it does not include 201C;awareness201D;
