    An Investigation of IoT Importance and Viability of Health Records Retrieval using Electronic Tags in Pilgrimage

    Health care services is one of the most important domains in the world. One of most important goals of healthcare services is the need of make accurate healthcare decisions in the right time. Retrieving useful historical health records of patients in real-time is necessary to provide accurate healthcare decisions. Traditional health record systems like paper-based system require time and efforts to collect, manage, and retrieve patients2019; records. Electronic health record systems were adopted to allow health staff to retrieve useful health records in real-time and consequently improve and speed up healthcare services. EHR is effective to serve patients in their local countries. Although EHR is effective for local healthcare services (i.e. hospitals within patient country), the implementations of EHR for global purposes is still an issue. EHR is not applicable for the persons who travel to other countries. One of the most important travelling purposes for Muslims is the pilgrimage journey. Each year millions of Muslims travel to KSA to complete pilgrimage rites. Pilgrims may need healthcare services and these services should be accomplished accurately in real-time which requires historical health records based electronic approaches. This study aims to investigate the importance and viability of IoT implementations to support EHR retrieving of pilgrims using electronic tags. A questionnaire with 60 academic staff and interview with five experts from KSA were conducted to address the main aim of this study. The significance of the results show that EHR supporting tags reading is a promising solution to enhance healthcare services and avoid the challenges of EHR implementations in pilgrimage

    Police say alcohol, drugs and speed are the three major factors that cause collisions, we thought that it would be insightful to analyze the collision data to ensure the correctness of this conclusion; and also to get further information like what age groups were involved, in what areas have accidents occurred, what were the reasons behind collisions, etc. These experiences can possibly make overall population mindful of the reasons for crashes created by impacts. To analyze more than hundred thousand records we adopted Spark for faster processing of this massive data set. In this paper, we are presenting facts based on data and analytics which lead to conclusions like the number of collisions decreased between 2009 and 2013, Females involved in collisions were much less than males, etc. Moving ahead in our research, we addressed complex analytics like areas near CalStateLA more prone to collisions, brands of cars more involved in collisions and which specific type of collision was most observed

    Opinion mining and sentiment analysis methods has become a prerogative models in terms of gaining insights from the huge volume of data that is being generated from vivid sources. There are vivid range of data that is being generated from varied sources. If such veracity and variety of data can be explored in terms of evaluating the opinion mining process, it could help the target groups in getting the public pulse which could support them in taking informed decisions. Though the process of opinion mining and sentiment analysis has been one of the hot topics focused upon by the researchers, the process has not been completely revolutionary. In this study the focus has been upon reviewing varied range of models and solutions that are proposed for sentiment analysis and opinion mining. From the vivid range of inputs that are gathered and the detailed study that is carried out, it is evident that the current models are still in complex terms of evaluation and result fetching, due to constraints like comprehensive knowledge and natural language limitation factors. As a futuristic model in the domain, the process of adapting scope of evolutionary computational methods and adapting hybridization of such methods for feature extraction as an idea is tossed in this paper

    Simultaneous Initiating EPR and Quantum Channel by Quantum Key Distribution Protocol

    Cryptography is the background of protecting the flowed information between various communicated parties. Quantum cryptography gives the extreme trust to transferred information by creating a unique secret key that is based upon the law of physics. This paper will discuss a novel algorithm that is presented through quantum key distribution (QKD) protocol. This QKD protocol depends on parallel quantum communications between participants within EPR and quantum channels. The proposed protocol utilizes the EPR channel to prove the authentication while the quantum channel to transfer the shared key. Moreover, the proposed protocol initiates the verification of the participant2019;s identity between the communicators by the EPR channel. After that the transferred data into quantum channel will create the secret key that contains a string of qubits as well as no need to communicate into classical channel

However, the challenge is about effective performance of such solutions with optimal efficiency. Due to certain intrinsic factors like numerous standards that are available, and also due to the necessity for identifying the best solutions that are based on application requirements. Some of the key issues that have to be considered in the process of WBASN are about the impacts that are taking place from the wireless medium, the lifetime of batteries in the WBASN devices and the other significant condition like the coexistence of the systems among varied other wireless networks that are constituted in the proximity. In this study, scores of models that has been proposed pertaining to MAC protocols for WBASN solutions has been reviewed to understand the efficacy of the existing systems, and a scope for process improvement has been explored for conducting in detail research and developing a solution

    Face Recognition using Fused Diagonal and Matrix Features

    Face recognition with less information availability in terms of the number of image samples is a challenging task A simple and efficient method for face recognition is proposed in this paper to address small sample size problem and rotation variation of input images The robert s operator is used as edge detection method to elicit borders to crop the facial part and then all cropped images are resized to a uniform 50 50 size to complete the preprocessing step Preprocessed test images are rotated in different angles to check the robustness of proposed algorithm All preprocessed images are partitioned into one hundred 5 5 equal size parts The matrix 2-norm infinite norm trace and rank are elicited for each of 5 5 part and respectively averaged to yield on hundred matrix features Another one hundred diagonal features are extracted by applying a 3 3 mask on each image Final one hundred features are obtained by fusing averaged matrix and diogonal features Euclidian distance measure is used for comparision of database and query image features The results are comparitively better on three publically availabe datasets compared to existing method
