The onset of new media in today’s world has led to many obstacles to be faced by conventional media. For example in USA, there has been tremendous shift from conventional to new media and not only this, we can clearly see the effect on the circulation of print newspapers world-wide. But if we talk about India, people still prefer the conventional media over new media even though online newspapers are accessible easily. The popularity of Indian newspapers causes the attraction of advertisers to advertise in newspapers. We cannot deny that these two complement each other. In this research paper the main attention is given to that the Internet will not replace newspapers, just as radio has not replace the newspapers and not only that, television has complemented the radio. Here, we also take a look at the present situation of conventional media especially print newspaper in today’s scenario. We cannot fully say that conventional media does not have the online presence but yes we can say that it has partially embraced the new technology. The circulation of print media has been affected a little bit due to the preference of young generation for new media as they say that it is more attractive and presentable as compared to the online version of mainstream media. Television stations like NDTV, AAJTAK, etc do have their online presence. Nowadays most of the Indian citizens have their own Internet connection which creates an easy path for the people to read newspaper online but this caused problem for the print media from advertising revenues at this time of global economic decline. This paper brings out a conclusion that both new media and conventional media will continue to function in the future and reinforce each other presumably beyond the envisaged year 2020

Religious traditions are often criticized. The soul’s existence is one of the most debated in talks between science and religion. But is the concept of the soul really so vague and does it really have no empirical evidence for a practical theory? Vedic philosophy and quantum mechanics may bring interesting ideas to consider.

Media coverage of Science and Technology in Delhi NCR – July 2017

The mass media have a serious role to play in enabling the public understanding of science and technology. Media persons typically adopt the position of “intermediaries” between the scientist and members of the public who are fascinated in a given scientific subject or issue. For this motive, according to Farr (1993), any effort to understand the social depiction of science – that is, how science is seized in the public dreams – would be unfinished without examining the mass media exemplification of science. Until now in India especially in NCR very rare studies have analytically inspected the volume, quality, scope, and insights of the coverage of science and technology. One such learning by Ved Prakash (2016) scrutinized the state of science and technology coverage in the print media e.g newspaper and magazine, in NCR. This one established that there were fairly few science and technology write-up, news or feature story in the sample of newspapers studied. A number of analysts have tried to examine the issues that account for the type and level of coverage that science and technology get in the mass media. However news organisations in various progressive economies are scrabbling back meaningfully on the resources they dedicate to covering science and technology, attentiveness in this field is growing in India. According to Irwin (2009), for the period of a major conference on science journalism in 2009, orators from developing countries were expectant about a flow of interest in science and science journalism in their countries

The science of strengthening self sustenance: Domain of Diffusion @ Manufacturing

    No full text
Before money gets into the pocket (may be from the bank accounts or from trade) it must first be manufactured in factories. Essentially all factories run at the behest of scientists and engineers - who create infrastructure, machines and processed raw materials. All in all, they entail varied amounts of risks and are thus entrepreneurial in nature. The dynamics however is in integration, whether of scientific competencies or of scientific attribution of resources, and of the talents or the operator’s fundamental behavior. The mechanism of making money through innovation led development of useful products is envisaged in the present work. A development of manufacturing competence is planned by diffusion. Since the risks are heavy and controls difficult, the business process is subject to a better understanding of critical points, and control over one’s competencies and talents in the operative domain. Say, by building a subtle companionship between diffusion and entrepreneurship, this work attempts to detail the scope of diffusion towards manufacturing of money - both conceptually and in material form.
