This study analyzes the impact of bullying on the attitude transformation of Shoya Ishida, the main character and former bully in Naoko Yamada’s animated film A Silent Voice. The research aims to identify the types of bullying committed by the main character and examine how these actions influence his personal transformation throughout the story. This study employs a qualitative descriptive method using Miles and Huberman’s approach to analyze film dialogues and scenes involving the character. The findings reveal nine instances of bullying committed by Shoya, consisting of verbal mockery, insults, and physical aggression. Meanwhile, thirty-seven data points indicate significant attitude transformation, including confession of guilt, efforts to improve relationships, and increased empathy toward others. These results show that Shoya’s transformation outweighs his harmful actions, suggesting a substantial shift in self-awareness and emotional maturity. The study concludes that bullying leaves long-term effects not only on victims but also on perpetrators, who may experience guilt and eventually change. This research highlights how fictional narratives can reflect real-life issues and provide messages about empathy, accountability, and the possibility of personal growth

This study aims to analyze the implementation of inclusive education policies for people with intellectual disabilities in Surakarta City. Although inclusive policies have been regulated nationally and regionally, their implementation at the school level still faces challenges in terms of communication, resource readiness, implementer disposition, and bureaucratic structure. This study employed a qualitative descriptive approach, utilizing data collection techniques that included in-depth interviews, observation, and documentation. Data analysis was conducted using the interactive model of Miles, Huberman, and Saldaña. The results indicate that the dissemination of policy information is uneven, with the disability community playing a crucial role as an effective link for communication. Human resources and infrastructure still need to be strengthened, especially in teacher training and administrative access to budget support. Implementer attitudes show diversity, but direct experience accompanying students with disabilities has been shown to foster more substantial commitment. The bureaucratic structure still faces complex coordination and administrative barriers. This study contributes to the field by identifying the strategic role of the community in policy dissemination, non-technical administrative barriers to resource access, and the importance of micro-experiences in strengthening the commitment of inclusive policy implementers

The research used field research, where the researcher directly observed and participated in almost all performance management processes within the Regional Office of the Ministry of Religious Affairs in Gorontalo Province. The results of this study reveal that the Regional Office of the Ministry of Religious Affairs in Gorontalo Province has generally implemented performance management processes effectively. Full text link
This study aims to analyze what factors support the successful implementation of Smart Villages in rural Indonesia. The research method used was a systematic literature review (SLR), by analyzing 16 selected articles from the Scopus database using strict inclusion-exclusion criteria and the PRISMA procedure. The results of the study show that five main factors drive the success of Smart Villages, namely: the provision of digital technology and infrastructure, social participation and the improvement of people's digital literacy, village digital economy transformation, leadership and adaptive governance, as well as sustainability characteristics such as precision agriculture, renewable energy, sharing economy, and social innovation. The discussion emphasized that smart village development must be based on multi-actor collaboration with a technological approach tailored to the local context. The conclusion of this study is that the success of Smart Villages depends on a combination of technological, social, economic, and institutional factors. However, the limitations of this study lie in the non-use of primary field data and the limited sources of literature in Indonesian. For further research, it is recommended to conduct field studies in various village contexts, as well as the development of integrative models that combine social, cultural, and technological approaches to support the sustainability of Smart Villages.

Treatment adherence is a major challenge in controlling Pulmonary Tuberculosis (TB). Family support is believed to be a key factor, yet the specific roles of different support dimensions within unique socio-economic contexts like Papua are not well understood. The aim of this study is to analyze the relationship between family support dimensions and medication adherence among Pulmonary TB patients in the working area of Sentani Kota Health Center. This study employed an analytical survey design with a cross-sectional approach. The sample consisted of 79 Pulmonary TB patients selected from a population of 97 through convenience sampling based on willingness to participate. Data on the relationship between family support (emotional, appraisal, informational, instrumental) and medication adherence were analyzed using the chi-square test. Medication adherence was very high (91.1%). No statistically significant relationship was found between overall family support and medication adherence (p = 1.000). However, sub-variable analysis revealed a sharp disparity: emotional (67% good) and appraisal (66% good) support were high, while informational (51% poor) and especially instrumental (97% poor) support were very low. In this highly adherent patient cohort, general family support was not a differentiating factor for adherence, however a critical deficit in informational and instrumental support was identified
