    Get PDF
Apart from key ecological role, some algal species have emerged as important indicators of chemical pollutants. Among such algal species, Cladophora glomerata L. which is a prevalent filamentous green alga found along the southern coast of Caspian Sea has emerged as important indicator of some metal pollution. The current study reports the analysis of Cladophora samples during summer of 2016 for selected metals and other nutrients. The antioxidant activity was also investigated in collected algal samples from various sampling points along the Caspian Sea with peak tourists”™ activity. The detection of heavy metals in Cladophora glomerata was found higher than normal background levels for studied metals (Cu, Zn, Mn and Fe). Such higher values of metals in this indicator species is alarming and shows a threat to recreational value of Coasts of Farah Abad region along Caspian Sea. It is urged that policy makers and stakeholders need to devise strategies to protect coastal areas of Caspian Sea so retain their recreational value and natural ecological phenomenon

Diabetes is one of the most common and chronic diseases. According to this point, the purpose of this study was to predict psychological well-being based on perceived social support and emotional regulation styles in people with diabetes. The population consisted of all diabetic patients referred to health centers of Research Institute of Endocrine Sciences, Red Crescent Therapy of Tehran Pars, Taban Clinic in West Township. The statistical sample was estimated to be 210 by the Green formula. Samples were from Tehran patients, which were selected through selective and targeted sampling; the research tool was RSPWB-SF psychological well-being questionnaire, Garnowski\u27s Cognitive Emotion Regulation (2001), and Social Assistant of Wax et al (SS-A). Statistical method: Structural equation modeling was used to analyze the data. The results showed that the fit of the model was confirmed with χ2/df = 2/24, TLI / NNFI= 0/92, CFI= 0/93, IFI = 0/93, GFI = 0/86, and NFI = 0/89. It was also shown that the family support variables (t = 13/06, r = 0/56) and friends support (t = 12/12, r = 0/44) can assess psychological well-being with p <0.05. Among the emotional adjustment styles, rumination variables (T = -12 / 42, r = -0 / 46), blame for others (T = -15 / 15, r = -0 / 65) and positive evaluation (T = 13 / 46, r = 0 /58) can assess psychological well-being with p <0.05. The rumination variables (T = -8 / 38, r = -0 / 31), catastrophic (T = -9 / 98, r = -0 / 38), blame others (T = -14 / 25, r = -0/62) and positive evaluation (T = 12/97, r = 0/55) can evaluate friends support with p<0.05. In this regard, rumination variables (r = -9/42, r = -0/35), disaster (T = -10 / 35, r = -0 / 4), blame others (T = -9 / 64, r = -0 / 35), positive re-focus (T = 12 / 26, r = 0/5) and positive evaluation (T = 10/05, r = 0/39) can also evaluate family support with p<0.05. As a result, the structural model of prediction of psychological well-being can be evaluated based on the role of interfaces of perceived social support by emotional adjustment styles in people with diabetes

    Get PDF
Herein, we reported a case of malignant pleural effusion as the initial metastatic presentation of occult gastric cancer in a 52-year-old diabetic woman. This is the first report of gastric cancer metastasized to pleura as a primary presentation. The pathologic results of adenocarcinoma pleural specimens were indicative of an undifferentiated cancer. Based on the results of immunohistochemistry, we suggested the metastasis of gastric cancer. For patients with such distinct clinical presentations, it would be suitable to study gastric cancer as one of the probable primary sites

Herramienta para el procesamiento en lote de documentos digitales para el sistema REPXOS 3.0.

    Get PDF

ABSTRACTThe purpose of this study is to study the probable deviation of temperature and precipitation elements in the northwest of the country from normal. For this purpose, at first, the time series of the minimum temperature and the monthly precipitation of the selected synoptic meteorological stations of the region for the past half century (1956-2005) were collected and adjusted. The statistical deficiencies of some series were corrected by the double mass method, in order to investigate and recognize the changes of the time series The Kendall test and the Mann-Kendall statistical-graphic statistical test were used and the type and time of the change of data were determined. The results of the research show that assuming randomness of the data It is strongly rejected and the trend situation is dominant on the data. Based on the graphic diagrams, changes in the parameters u and u mean minimum temperature and rainfall in the region over the past half century have been changed. These changes are short-term fluctuations and trend. This is most evident in most time series since the 1990s. In terms of the distribution of time and location of major precipitation in the region, especially in the east and west of Lake Urmia, sudden changes and significant mutation And during the 1990s and 2000s, the steep slope was on the downside of the medium-temperature minimum and precipitate series. In terms of the average temperature, there is a minimal contrast between the west and east of the region. Thus, in the west of Lake Urmia mutations and sudden changes are significant in the negative direction. But in the eastern lake (Tabriz), a significant temperature mutation in most of the months of the year is a positive one, which is likely to be a recent phenomenon of recent urbanization in this regional contradiction. In northern and southern parts of the region, no significant changes were observed in terms of temperature and the normal state was observed

The archetype of garden in the works of tatar poets of the xx-th century in the context of the dialogue of cultures

    Get PDF
The archetype of the garden is a universal aesthetic category, which is inherent in literatures and cultures of many people belonging to different religions (Christianity, Islam). The application of this category to the analysis of the works of Tatar poets of the twentieth century makes it possible to consider both the specificity of functional and semantic embodiment of the archetype of the garden and to make a generalized conclusion about the tradition and innovation in the context of the dialogue of cultures. The novelty of the research is both in the material (the archetype of the garden in the works of Kh.  Tufan, and I.  Yuzeev is not the subject of considerable scientific interest nowadays) and in research methods relevant to the material. Having considered the peculiarity of the embodiment of the archetype of the garden in the works of modern Tatar poets who were deeply rooted in their native literature and culture, it is possible to identify the similarities and differences associated with the choice of artistic means, their world outlook and the relationship to the traditions of Oriental and Western cultures. For example, the symbolism of the images of the garden, apple tree, cultivatedand wild flowers and plants allows K. Tufan to express his innermost reflections on philosophical and moral problems. The image of the garden in the Tatar poetry of the twentieth century takes on some symbolic features. In I. Yuzeev`s poetry the image of the garden appears in the traditions of the ancient mythological view on the world as a single harmonious whole. The results of the research given in the article provide possibilities of studying other universals in the poetry of the authors under review and other contemporary poets

Detecting the Minerals”™ Ore Grade Using the Emotional Network and Image Processing Techniques

    Get PDF
The image processing has widely delved into mining activities for years. The image processing is actually a simulation of the human eye which is able to distinguish differences. This agent empowers any neural network or intelligent system to detect valuable minerals of any given gangue. Similarly, morphology is defined as an extensive set of image processing algorithms that processes the images based on geometric shapes. Morphological operations refer to insertion of a structure element to an input image in order to create an equal output image. In the morphological operations, the value of each pixel in the output image is taken into account in relation to a corresponding pixel in the input image along with its neighbors. Having selected a local size and shape, you may run morphological operations which are sensitive to certain shapes in the structure of input images. Since it has been argued that dilation and erosion are the most basic morphological operations, they are discussed in this article. The texture features of images have been used in image processing.   These features, which are called Haralick texture features, are characterized with specific definitions and matrix formula. In this paper, it has been attempted to examine the minerals”™ ore grade using the emotional network and image processing techniques. This method is fundamentally based on emotional learning and temporal difference learning. Besides, it is characterized with a fuzzy-neural structure

Mulla Sadra\u27s Views about Divine Knowledge from the Perspective of Avicenna

    Get PDF
The main questions addressed in the present article are: How the divine knowledge of the essence and the creatures is perceived by Avicenna and Mulla Sadra? What are possible similarities and differences in the viewpoints of the two philosophers? And which view is more complete and less defective? According to the findings of the study, Avicenna and Mulla Sadra interpret God\u27s knowledge of the essence through the union of the knower and the known, but the divine knowledge of the creatures is addressed by Avicenna through the imprinted forms while Mulla Sadra deals with the issue through the principality of existence and its degrees of gradation. It was also shown that the explanation of Avicenna about God\u27s knowledge of the creatures faces problems such as the emptiness of the God”™s essence from the cognitive perfection. But Mulla Sadra\u27s explanation can account for this issue more effectively
