How do OT programs recruit and admit diverse students?
The findings of this study indicated that although universities valuethe recruitment and admissions of diverse students, work still needs to be done. Universities should consider recruitment strategies used by schools with more diversity like creating articulation agreements with universities with diverse student bodies, having diverse admissions staff, and ensuring marketing materials reflect diversity and inclusivity. They should also consider admissions strategies like inclusion of a diverse review committee and student group interviews. Future research should explore diverse students’ perspectives on their recruitment and admissions experiences
