    Veil and Hijab: Twitter Sentiment Analysis Perspective

    Controversies about veil and hijab are often occur in society. Especially in today’s digital era, public opinion expressed through social media can greatly influence the others opinions, regardless of whether it is positive or negative. Therefore, this research was aiming to conduct an approach through analysis sentiment of public opinion about the veil and hijab to know how much accurate the sentiment analysis predict the positive, negative, or other sentiments with using Twitter data as the research object. The algorithm used in this study is Support Vector Machine (SVM) because of its fairly good classification model though it trained using small set of data. The SVM on this research was combined with Radial Base Function (RBF) kernel because of its numerical difficulties that are fewer than linear and polynomial kernel and also because this research doesn’t have a large feature.  The amount of data used is 3556 tweets data. Tweets data, which is numbered 1056, is classified manually for the learning process. The remaining 2500 data will be classified automatically with the classifier model that has been created. A total of 1056 tweets data that have been classified manually is separated into training and testing data with a ratio of 8: 2. The result of the sentiment analysis process using Support Vector Machine algorithm RBF kernel with C=1 and γ=1  has an accuracy score of 73.6% with precision to negative opinions are 62%, positive opinions are 83%, neutral opinions reach 53% and irrelevant opinions that talk about hijab and veil reach 98%. It shows that sentiment analysis can be used for predicting the negative, positive or other sentiments of a sentence based on a certain topic, in this case veil and hijab

    Analysis of Fuzzy Logic Modification for Student Assessment in e-Learning

    The phenomenon of the rapid transfer of learning to online systems, such as e-Learning, has occurred massively. Institutions must ensure that student assessments run well. The characteristics of learning in e-Learning require an appropriate assessment method. The fuzzy logic method can be an option. Research shows that fuzzy logic is capable of providing flexible and objective performance evaluation. Fuzzy logic is a method that can overcome the uncertainty of transparency and objectivity of student assessments. In general, fuzzy logic applications are carried out by standards. Modification is an attempt to reveal the flexibility and to optimize the use of fuzzy logic. This study presents an analysis of fuzzy logic modification for the assessment of Algorithm and Data Structures courses held in e-Learning. These modifications include (i) modification of the parameter score with score compatibility, (ii) consequent modification of the fuzzy rules and (iii) modification of the implication process. The study results show that although the use of fuzzy logic requires more complicated procedures and tools, it can present various kinds of assessment as an option for educators to assess students in e-Learning

    UD. Sumber Alam Stone merupakan usaha dagang yang menjual berbagai jenis batu alam. Dalam proses usaha dagang terdapat kendala berupa kurangnya persediaan barang. Untuk mengatasinya diperlukan solusi manajemen yang baik berupa peramalan terhadap penjualan dan persediaan barang. Dalam penelitian ini, penulis membangun aplikasi prediksi dengan menggunakan metode SES untuk memprediksi penjualan tahun 2019 dan metode EOQ untuk mengelola persediaan barang berupa pemesanan optimal, pemesanan ekonomis, biaya persediaan, safety stock dan reorder point pada tahun 2019. Data yang digunakan dalam penelitian ini adalah data penjualan batu alam dari tahun 2012 sampai 2018. Pengujian yang dilakukan pada aplikasi ini menggunakan pengujian blackbox. Hasil prediksi penjualan pada tahun 2019 adalah 2059 , dari prediksi tersebut diperoleh pemesanan optimal sebesar 258  untuk setiap pemesanan ekonomis yang berjumlah 8 kali pemesanan, dengan total biaya persediaan batu alam sebesar Rp. 4.868.322. safety stock atau persediaan pengamanan pada setiap kali melakukan stok barang sebanyak 30  dan reoder point atau titik pemesanan kembali pada lead time tercepat 3 hari sebanyak  32 , sedangkan untuk lead time terlama 7 hari sebanyak 71

    Selama pandemi Covid-19, masyarakat menjadi lebih banyak beraktivitas di rumah. Namun, gangguan kesehatan bisa datang kapan saja karena situasi dan kondisi pandemi menambah rasa stres dan bosan dengan aktivitas yang monoton selama di rumah. Pandemi Covid-19 tidak hanya mengancam kesehatan fisik tetapi juga mental banyak orang. Oleh karena itu diperlukan media yang menarik untuk meningkatkan kesadaran masyarakat terhadap pentingnya menjaga kesehatan mulai dari diri sendiri. Solusi dari permasalahan tersebut adalah dengan membuat e-book infografis mengenai kesehatan. Metode yang digunakan dalam melaksanakan program kerja adalah pembuatan e-book infografis dan optimalisasi media sosial. E-book infografis ini memiliki keunggulan berupa ilustrasi dan colorful agar dapat memberikan informasi dengan lebih mudah dan menarik minat baca masyarakat.[During the Covid-19 pandemic, people become more active at home. However, health problems can come at any time because the situation and condition of the pandemic adds to the feeling of stress and boredom with monotonous activities while at home. The Covid-19 pandemic threatens not only the physical but also mental health of many people. Therefore, it is necessary to have an attractive media to increase public awareness of the importance of maintaining health starting from yourself. The solution to this problem is to create an infographic e-book on health. The methods used in implementing the work program are making infographic e-books, optimization of social media. This infographic e-book has the advantage of being illustrated and colorful in order to provid information more easily and attracting people\u27s reading interest.

    Tujuan dari pelaksanaan program pengabdian ini adalah untuk memberikan penyuluhan/penyadaran mengenai esensi, substansi, urgensi Koperasi Syariah. Para pelaku usaha di Dusun Wonosari dapat mengoptimalkan fungsi Koperasi Syariah sebagai mitra usaha untuk menangani kendala kekurangan modal. Para pelaku usaha di Dusun Wonosari dapat mempraktekan simulasi tahap permohonan pembiayaan modal usaha di Koperasi Syariah. Hasil pelatihan ini menunjukan bahwa simulasi pengajuan pembiayaan modal usaha koperasi berbasis Syariah untuk pelaku usaha di Dusun Wonosari Desa Mergolangu Kabupaten Wonosobo menciptakan wawasan baru dan bisa mengikis rasa antipati peserta terhadap koperasi syariah. Melalui metode simulasi ini peserta pelatihan dapat dengan mudah memahami konten dari Pengabdian ini dan pesreta dapat menemukan solusi dari keterbatasan modal usaha mereka dalam menjalanjan usaha.[The purpose of implementing this service program is to provide counseling / awareness about the essence, substance, and urgency of Sharia Cooperatives. Business actors in Wonosari Hamlet can optimize the function of Sharia Cooperatives as business partners to deal with the constraints of lack of capital. Business actors in Wonosari Hamlet can practice the simulation stage of the application for business capital financing at Sharia Cooperatives. The results of this training show that the simulation of applying for Sharia-based cooperative venture capital financing for business actors in Wonosari Hamlet, Mergolangu Village, Wonosobo Regency creates new insights and can erode the participants’ sense of antipathy towards Islamic cooperatives. Through this simulation method, training participants can easily understand the content of this Community Service and participants can find solutions to the limitations of their business capital in running their business.

    Peningkatan belanja online membuktikan bahwa teknologi memberikan dapak positif terutama dalam aspek ekonomi dan bisnis. Tidak hanya membawa manfaat, tetapi teknologi juga memberikan risiko keamanan. Banyak pihak-pihak tidak bertanggung jawab yang menyalahgunakan teknologi internet untuk berbuat kejahatan. Terkait privasi dalam transaksi online, pengguna diharuskan untuk mengungkapkan sejumlah besar informasi pribadi kepada penjual. Hal tersebut rentan dengan kebocoran informasi sensitif sehingga memicu terjadinya pelanggaran data dan pencurian identitas. Ada banyak website dan aplikasi e-commerce di Indonesia yang terkenal diantaranya shopee, tokopedia, bukalapak, lazada, Blibli, JD ID, Orami, Bhinneka, Socialla, dan Zalora. E-commerce tersebut berasal dari dalam maupun luar Indonesia. Beberapa regulasi telah dikeluarkan oleh Pemerintah untuk mengatur transaksi di e-commerce. Alat keamanan seperti firewal, Infrastruktur Kunci Publik (PKI), perangkat lunak enkripsi, sertifikat digital, tanda tangan digital, biometrik, kata sandi dll digunakan untuk melindungi bisnis e-commerce.     PENGARUH VARIASI TEMPERATUR KALSINASI ZEOLIT ALAM TERHADAP KEMAMPUAN ADSORPSI LIMBAH FENOL

    Abstrak. Aktivasi zeolite alam dengan kalsinasi berbagai temperature telah dilakukan. Zeolite alam dimanfaatkan sebagai absorben penurunan limbah fenol. Tujuan dari penelitian ini untuk mengetahui karakteristik zeolit alam variasi temperatur kalsinasi, temperatur kalsinasi zeolit alam terhadap kemampuan optimum adsorpsi limbah fenol, model isoterm adsorpsi dan kinetika adsorpsi limbah fenol pada zeolit alam terkalsinasi, dan karakteristik zeolit alam setelah proses adsorpsi limbah fenol Zeolit alam dipreparsi, diaktivasi dengan kalsinasi variasi temperatur, dan diaplikasi sebagai adsorben limbah fenol. Variasi temperatur kalsinasi digunakan adalah 400oC, 450oC, dan 500oC. Karakterisasi menggunakan FTIR dan XRD pada zeolit alam sebelum kalsinasi, zeolit alam kalsinasi, dan zeolit alam setelah adsoprsi. Model isoterm adsorpsi ditentukan dengan menggunakan metode regresi linear terhadap persamaan isoterm Langmuir dan Freundlich dan kinetika adsorpsi didasrkan pada kinetika orde nol, orde satu, orde dua, dan orde tiga. Berdasarkan hasil karakterisasi XRD zeolite alam sebelum kalsinasi, 2θ merefleksikan intensitas tajam pada daerah 2θ = 9,82°; 13,46°; 19,69°; 22,35°; 23,15°; 25,68°; 36,34°; dan 27,74° menunjukkan karakteristik zeolit alam modernit. Spektra FTIR zeolit alam sebelum kalsinasi diamati pada bilangan gelombang 300 sapai 4000 cm-1 menunjukkan rentangan simetri O-Al-O atau O-Si-O pada internal tetrahedral yang ditandai munculnya puncak pada bilangan gelombang 650-720 cm-1. Hasil karakterisasi XRD zeolit alam terkalsinasi tidak mengalami perubahan dengan puncak refleksi sebelum kalsinasi. Spectra IR zeolite alam terkalsinasi menunjukkan pergeseran ke bilangan gelombang karena proses dealuminasi. Peningkatan temperatur kalsinasi zeolit alam meningkatkan kemampuan adsorpsi zeolit alam dengan kemampuan adsorpsi tertinggi zeolit alam terjadi pada temperatur kalsinasi 450 ˚C dan konsentrasi awal fenol 6 ppm. Adsorpsi zeolit alam terhadap fenol mengikuti model isoterm Langmuir dan mengikuti kinetika reaksi orde satu, serta tidak merubah struktur zeolit alam.     CORRELATION BETWEEN TECHNOLOGICAL READINESS AND BUSINESS SOPHISTICATION IN GLOBAL COMPETITIVENESS

    In today’s global economy, the competitiveness of a country has important role to bring the country into prosperity and a respectable position among others. That is why during the past decade, scholars, policy makers and even business leaders throughout the world put a very serious attentions to the issue. Since 1979, the World Economic Forum has published the Global Competitiveness Report which encompasses Global Competitiveness Index (GCI) in order to measure national competitiveness in different countries throughout the world. Using the two sets of variables of “Technological Readiness” and “Business Sophistication” as the two basic pillars of national competitiveness, this study is aimed at investigating the interaction between the two pillars in order to help countries which are in transition from stage II to stage III of development by providing meaningful information for their national competitiveness improvement. This study used descriptive-correlation methodology. According to the GCI 2010 report which covered a statistical population of 139 countries, the secondary analysis using Canonical Correlation Analysis was done. The result shows that there is a significant and positive relationship between the set of variables of “Technological Readiness” and “Business Sophistication”

    Mechanical Characteristics Testing of Biodegradable Ramie Fiber Reinforced Polylactic Acid (PLA) Fabricated with Hot-Press Molding

    In this research, composite material was fabricated from both renewable resources and biodegradable materials: ramie woven fabric as reinforcement and 3D printed polylactic acid (PLA) filament as resin matrix. The laminate composites were produced using a film stacking method and processed using hot-press molding. The mechanical properties of woven ramie fabric, PLA matrix, and laminate composites were investigated. It is shown that the breaking force of the plain woven ramie fabric in the warp direction was greater than in the weft direction. Further, the tensile and impact properties of laminate at warp direction higher than weft direction when ramie fabric reinforcement is used. In addition, scanning electron microscopy examination of laminate composite showed good bonding between ramie fiber and PLA matrix. In summary, laminated composites based on polylactic acid and woven ramie fabric display good performance capability, which can use for the development of engineering applications
