    INCREASING PRODUCTIVITY OF SCLUPTOR IN KAPAL VILLAGE, BADUNG, BALI

    To increase the productivity, modern hand tools such as electrical grinder, electrical drill and band saw have been used by the scluptor in Kapal village. Due to ignorance, in using them not all precaution were taken into consideration. Also squatting and bending positions produced many complaints. Therefore, an ergonomics intervention has been conducted. Using multistage random sampling technique, 20 subjects were sampled from the scluptors. Blood pressure, and heart rate were measured, and subjective feelings were recorded using Nordic Body Map, before and after working for a week. The results showed that after working; 1.2% increased in systolic blood pressure; 4.7% increased HR per minute; and 20.7% subjective complaints (p<0.05). To overcome the problems ergonomics intervention have been conducted which consist of three types as follows: 1) advising to have rest pause 3-5 minutes in every one hour working; 2) the workplace for electrical grinder must be separated from another workplaces, and the operator of electrical grinder machine should have a rest after 30 minutes, in case the electrical grinder could not be separated all workers there should use cotton car plugs. 3) the physical fitness of scluptors should be improved by doing exercise program 3-5 times per week. After two weeks of awareness program, responses found as follows: 87% of workers engaged in having short rest pauses 90% of workers engaged in using ear plugs and 77% were engaged fitness program. The preliminary results showed there are a decreased in systolic blood pressure 0.46%, (p>0.05). HR 4.96% (p<0.05), subjective complaints 18.39% (p<0.05), and associated by an increased of productivity at about 17.55% (p<0.05)

    Policies related to the automotive industry have become significant for the Ministry of Industry. The problem in determining these policies is the determination of important factors for the automotive industry so that the policies formulated are right on target. The search for these important factors can be done by using the factor analysis method. So far, no studies have been conducted to examine the factors that influence the growth of the automotive industry. In this study, factor analysis is performed on factors in the automotive industry using the principal component analysis algorithm. The algorithm seeks to describe independently the aspects that become the main factors in determining the automotive industry. Based on an analysis of factors in the automotive industry production, the most influential factors are foreign investment, vehicle ownership ratios, and at last the change in GDP

    Liquefied Petroleum Gas (LPG) is a fuel that is currently widely used by the community in meeting their daily needs. Safety in the use of LPG) is one of the important aspects for Indonesian people both at home, eating-places, tourist attractions, campuses and other places that use LPG. Fires often occur caused by LPG leaks that are not realized by the owner and the people around him, causing fires. The fire caused by gas leakage not only harms the owner but also people who are not far from the fire. From these problems, the authors make a design of cloud computing-based detection system of gas leak using a microcontroller NodeMCU Esp8266 that can provide notifications via smartphone in case of fire and automatically do the first treatment by turning on the exhaust. Notifications sent via the smartphone appear not only when opening the application, but also when it does not open the application

    Visualization of Fraunhofer diffraction pattern of circular apperture has been obtained using the 4 point Gauss-Legendre Quadrature  integration method. The 4 point Gauss-Legendre quadrature integration method is used to solve the integral function of intensity. The intensity function is used to display the intensity distribution of the Fraunhofer diffraction pattern of circular apperture in a visual form through a computer programming simulation based on GUI (Graphycal User Interface) MATLAB. Simulation results show changes in initial intensity affect diffraction patterns

    Analysis of Modification in Synaptic Plasticity STDP (Spike Timing Dependent Plasticity) Model by Changing Intracellular Calcium Concentration

    Synapses are a junction between neurons that has a plastic property. Synaptic plasticity can be in the form of long-term potentiation (LTP) and long-term depression (LTD). The changes in intracellular calcium concentration can trigger LTP and LTD. Spike Timing Dependent Plasticity (STDP) is a modification of synapses that depend on the spike timing of pre-synapses and post-synapses neuron. In this study, we analyze the effects of intracellular calcium on the STDP phenomena based on Badoual’s model using mechanisms involving parameters such as calcium pumping, AMPA receptors, NMDA receptors, LTP enzymes, and LTD enzymes. In this model, a high calcium concentration will activate the LTP enzyme, while a low calcium concentration will activate the LTD enzyme, each of which will trigger the occurrence of LTP and LTD. The existence of LTP and LTD is the basis for the formation of the STDP. In this model, the parameters can be adjusted to obtain the STDP corresponding to experimental results where LTP is observed in the range between 0 < ∆t < 50ms, while LTD is observed at wider intervals between −150ms < ∆t <0. These parameters are related to the decay time of the NMDA receptor

    Nowadays people exchange information in digital media such as text, audio, video and imagery. The development of Information and Communication makes the delivery of information and data more efficient. Current developments in technology which are very significant have an impact on the community in exchanging information and communicating. Confidential hidden data can also be in the form of image, audio, text, or video. The Hill Chiper algorithm uses a matrix of size m x m as a key for encryption and decryption. One way to recover the original text is of course to guess the decryption key, so the process of guessing the decryption key must be difficult. break ciphertext into palintext without knowing which key to use. The LSB part that is converted to the value of the message to be inserted. After affixing a secret message, each pixel is rebuilt into a whole image that resembles the original image media. The Hill Cipher algorithm is used to determine the position of the plaintext encryption into a random ciphertext. 2. Testing text messages using the hill cipher algorithm successfully carried out in accordance with the flow or the steps so as to produce a ciphertext in the form of randomization of the letters of the alphabet.

    The high water pollution index causes a decrease in water quality so that it can interfere with the health of living things. In order to overcome this, the government has tried to monitor water quality whose results can be known by the community. However, information disclosure and ease of accessing information are felt to be lacking. This study aims to present information about the quality status of river water and its relatively up-to-date and easily accessed by the public online. The storet method is used to determine the status of river water quality with seven parameters: temperature, EC, TDS, pH, DO, BOD and E.coli. The features provided will be explained in the results and discussion presented in several UML diagrams. In order to get results that match user expectations, this system was developed with extreme programming system development methods

    Pengembangan Aplikasi Computer Based Test dengan Protokol Two Central Facilities

    The Indonesian government has issued a policy on Ujian Nasional Berbasis Komputer (UNBK), or it can be called CBT (Computer Based Test). In this study is the development of the CBT system using the Two Central Facilities protocol, which consists of the Central Legitimization Agency (CLA) and the Central Tabulating Facilities (CTF). In developing this CBT system, CLA is used to authenticate the examinees, while CTF is used to provide questions and calculation of exam answers. To maintain security added encryption using the RSA Algorithm (Rivest-Shamir-Adleman) which functions to convert data into ciphertext. From the results of functional trials, this system has succeeded in applying the Two Central Facilities protocol. This system has been connected to the CLA and CTF servers and all data has been successfully encrypted. For this reason, in the future schools will be endeavored to implement the development of the CBT system to avoid fraud

    The rapid progress of Information and Communication Technology (ICT) makes it easier for people to communicate and get information. Information of strategic value needs to be safeguarded and stakeholders must be aware of all potential vulnerabilities in information and communication system transactions. There are several aspects that must be met in building information security in e-government. The first aspect that must be met is confidentially and privacy. The Ministry of Law and Human Rights of the Republic of Indonesia is currently implementing e-government in internal business processes and public services. One of them is the use of the Correctional Database System (SDP). Data and information in SDP are confidential because one of them contains data and information on criminal offenders in Indonesia. With the use of information technology and the more information presented by the government as part of public services the greater the vulnerability to the security and confidentiality of the information system itself. The research method used is a qualitative method with a case study approach with the application of the defense in depth model to analyze information security involving several layers of security to keep information safe. Descriptive analysis results explain that the design and development of SDPs pay attention to the basic principles of information security, namely confidentiality, integrity and availability of data. But there are vulnerabilities in information security loopholes that are very likely to occur at the layer of host defense, network defense, and physical defense

    Hampir semua aplikasi web yang memerlukan pengesahan / autentikasi, menggunakan mekanisme verifikasi password untuk masuk ke dalam sistem. Bagi pengguna, password adalah dilema. Password yang aman seringkali sulit untuk diingat, sedangkan password yang mudah diingat biasanya mudah untuk ditebak. Pengguna juga melakukan hal teledor seperti menulis password di sticky note dan semacamnya, juga menggunakan password yang sama untuk akun berbeda sehingga membuat keamanan akun semakin rentan, terutama karena serangan dengan keylogger. Untuk mengatasi hal ini, telah dikembangkan beberapa teknik pengamanan, seperti menambah faktor lain ketika login dengan kode One-Time-Password (OTP) lewat SMS, perangkat token generator seperti yang dipakai perbankan, login dengan hardware USB, akses lewat sensor biometrik fingerprint, bahkan electrocardiogram (ECG). Dengan menilik kelebihan dan kekurangan aneka pendekatan yang telah dikembangkan serta dengan orientasi fokus kepada kemudahanan pengguna, penelitian ini  mengusulkan perangkat dan metode untuk memperkuat keamanan sistem dalam proses login, dan tetap mudah dalam penggunaannya (tanpa secara manual mengingat, memasukkan username dan password), portabel, dan terjangkau. Pada makalah ini autentikasi dengan OTP diajukan dengan metode Vigenere chiper yang dimodifikasi dengan nilai salt yang selalu berubah dan pengacakan data menggunakan algoritma butterfly. Ditambah pengamanan menggunakan perangkat keras berbasis microcontroller, sensor fingerprint, dan modul Real-Time-Clock (RTC) untuk validasi kepemilikan dan sinkronisasi waktu dalam mencegah keylogger attack. Hasil pengujian memperlihatkan perangkat dapat menghasilkan OTP dengan waktu rata-rata 0,956 sekon, dan memudahkan pengguna untuk login ke aplikasi web tanpa perlu mengingat password
