    Design of Vibrate Generator

    Vibrate generator is an electric generator, which generate electric by a magnet vibration. This research inspired by the discovery of windbelt by Humdinger. The purpose of this research is to prove electric generator with magnetic vibration, to design low rpm vibrate generator. Electric generator in this vibration is simple, expected to be made society with local material. With an energy source from a ditch drainage or wind, this generator are supposed to generate electricity for one house. Major component generators are bar magnets, springs, wire coils, diode, capasitor and wood board. The principle of generator unit is a magnet attached to the spring and the end of the spring attached to the wooden board.  If the spring is vibrated, magnetic vibrations produce a magnetic flux change that penetrates the wire coil who attach beside a magnet. A wire coil penetrated flux magnetic which change with time to produce electro motive force. Every unit generator produce AC and changed to DC by Diode Bridge. The experiment results were one unit cell generator produce 2.2 volt peak to peak, 21.47 Hz, and product duration 0.5second. The design of a low rpm vibrator generator is built from a vibration generator unit arranged and connected in parallel. Each unit vibration generator is vibrated sequentially, in order for a continuous power generation

    Study of Computational Theory of Surface Plasmon Resonance (SPR) for Porcine Gelatin Detected Sensor Based Nanomaterial Fe3O4–CNT in Otto’s Configuration

    Accurate biomolecular detection can be performed through the Surface Plasmon Resonance (SPR) phenomenon. This study was conducted to determine the effect of the addition of Fe3O4 and Carbon Nanotube (CNT) nanomaterials in the Otto configurations and their use as porcine detection sensors. The research was conducted theoretically by finding the equation of reflectance and computationally using Matlab software version 7.12.0 to know SPR angle and reflectance value. This research uses ATR method with Otto configuration. The modeling was finished using HeNe laser light on 632.8 nm wavelength, semi-circle prism type BK7, metal layer of gold nanoparticles. The results of the research can be used in the detection of porcine gelatin by Otto configurations. The best air gap thickness is 30 nm. The best thickness of the gold layer and Fe3O4 layer are 50 nm and 0.05 nm. The applied of MWCNT nanoparticles is not effective in the detection of biomolecules based SPR. While the thickness of SWCNT used is 1 nm. The SWCNT material also proved to be better used in SPR systems. The addition of porcine gelatin layer in the system shows a graphic change in the form of increasing reflectance value and SPR angular shift

    The Effect of Increasing Surface Area of Graphite Electrode on the Performance of Dual Chamber Microbial Fuel Cells

    The effect of increasing surface area of graphite electrode on the performance of dual chamber Microbial Fuel Cells (MFC) was observed. The surface area of graphite electrode (anode and cathode) that was using in this experiment was 29.5cm2 and 44.5cm2 for the A and B reactor, respectively. The anode chamber contained mixed microorganism culture from real wastewater of textile industry and the cathode chamber contained 0.1M potassium permanganate electrolyte solution. The salt bridge was required to stabilize the charge between the anode and cathode chambers, and the electrodes attached to the anode and cathode chambers as the electron catcher. Both, the A and B reactor were observed for 72 hours of running time. The voltage and power density were found to increase with the increase in surface area of the graphite electrode. The highest power density was 93.93mWm-2 and 197.23mWm-2 that obtained at 36 hours and 48 hours on the A and B reactor, respectively. At the end of experiment, these MFCs system could also reduce COD by 28.6% and 15.6% on A and B reactor, respectively

    Nowadaysmany different entities collect data of the same nature, but in slightly different environments. In this sense differenthospitalscollect data about their patients’ symptoms and corresponding disease diagnoses, different banks collect transactions of their customers’ bank accounts,multiple cyber-security companies collect data about log files and corresponding attacks, etc. It is shown that if those different entitieswould mergetheir privately collected datain a single dataset and use itto train a machine learning (ML) model, they oftenend upwith a trained model that outperforms the human expertsof the corresponding fieldsinterms ofaccurate predictions. However, there is a drawback.Due to privacy concerns,empowered by laws and ethical reasons, no entity is willing to share with others their privately collected data. The sameproblem appears during the classification case overanalready trained ML model. On one hand,a user that has an unclassified query(record),doesn’t want to share with the server that owns the trained model neither the content of the query (which might contain private data such as credit card number, IP address, etc.), nor the finalprediction(classification) of the query. On the other hand, the owner of the trained model doesn’t want to leak any parameter ofthe trained model to the user. In order to overcome those shortcomings, severalcryptographic and probabilistictechniques have been proposed during the last few yearsto enable both privacy preserving training and privacy preserving classificationschemes. Some of them include anonymization and k-anonymity, differential privacy, secure multiparty computation (MPC), federated learning, Private Information Retrieval (PIR), Oblivious Transfer (OT), garbled circuitsand/orhomomorphic encryption, to name a few.Theoretical analyses and experimental results show that the current privacy preserving schemes are suitable for real-case deployment, while the accuracy of most of them differ little or not at all with the schemes that work in non-privacy preserving fashion

    Herpetofauna in Indonesia is very abundant, one of the richest areas of herpetofauna in Indonesia is in the Menoreh Mountain of Kulon Progo. Girimulyo started pioneering the natural tourist in the Kembang Soka Waterfall and Sungai Mudal Park. In 2012 the diversity in this place was researched by Qurniawan et al. This study aimed for renewing data of herpetofauna. The study was conducted from February to June 2018. This study used VES (Visual Encounter Survey) method, which works in combination with the belt transect method. A total of 22 Herpetofauna species has been found and identified in the Sungai Mudal Park and Kembang Soka Waterfall consists of 9 families, 5 families from the Amphibian class and 4 families from the Reptile class

    The Effect of Addition of Avocado Fruit Seeds On Bioplastic Biodegradation

    Bioplastics can be made with chitosan as a base material with a sorbitol plasticizer and avocado-based seed starch. This study tries to discuss the comparison of avocado seeds to bioplastic biodegradability required based on weight loss in soil media. This research was carried out in empathic, namely making avocado starch, making bioplastics, analyzing bioplastic functional groups, and testing biodegradation of bioplastics in soil media. Variations used are avocado seeds used are 0; 0.1; 0.3; 0.5; 0.7; and 1.4 grams. Bioplastic functional group analysis was performed using FTIR. Bioplastic biodegradability in soil media. Bioplastics are 76% degraded within 12 days in the soil. This shows that bioplastics can be biodegradable

    Kedung Kopong waterfall area which is located in Glagah Village, and the mountain area Banyak Angkrem whichhave an altitude of 753 meters above sea level are located in Kalirejo Village, Kec. Salaman, Kab. Magelang, Central Java is a tourist area which is an ideal bird habitat. The existence of bird habitat in tourist areas has the potential to experiencedisruption due to tourist visiting activities. As a result, the vegetation areas, which are the most important bird habitats, are decreasing so that it is feared that many bird species will lose their habitat. The absence of data on the birds in the area, it is necessary to conduct research to obtain information on the variety of bird species in the area along with the mount of bird. This research was conducted on March 1st 2020 - March 15th 2020, every Saturday and Sunday. The data collection time in this study was adjusted to the weather situation in Kalirejo Village, Salaman District, Magelang Regency. Observation of bird species that have diurnal activity is divided into 2 sessions. This research method is to use the exploration method (explore) directly in the field in the area of Kedung Kopong and Banyak Angkrem. Data collection was carried out by tracing the existing footpaths and hiking trails. Inventory of bird species in the tourist area of Curug Kedung Kopong and the hill of Banyak Angkrem found a variety of different species. The Tesia team found around 26 species from 17 families in the two areas, were successfully identified

    Factors That Effect of the Optimal Plantlet Growth from Tissue Culture on the Acclimatization Stage

    Tissue culture is a method of propagation plants by isolating cell, tissues, protoplasts or plant organs than planting them in a sterile and controlled environment. This method is able to produce superior plants and propagation of plants are difficult to cultivate conventionallyin large quantities with a relatively fast time. Acclimatization is an important final stage in the success of tissue culture method. Acclimatization is carried out for adaptation of the plantlet environment from in vitro to in vivo conditions. This is caused in the previous stage the plantlets are heterotrophic, while on acclimatization stage it will be au totrophic. This study aims to provide an information about the factors that affect the success of acclimatization plantlets. This is a review article was conducted using the literature study method by collecting information from journals, books or internet than analyzed in descriptive qualitative to prove scientifically. On this stage, many plantlets fail to grow and even die. for increase growth and reduce plantlets mortality need to be made overcome these problems. This can be overcome by applying acclima tization supporting factors. The result that factors affecting of the success plantlet growth on acclimatization stage includ ing: the condition of the plantlets, light intensity, temperature, relative humidity, types of planting media, nutrition and fertil izing and controlling of pest and microorganisms

    Analysis of the Effectiveness of Online Learning in the Middle of the Covid-19 Outbreak

    The Covid-19 pandemic has disrupted the conventional learning process, thus affecting the world of education in Indonesia, including the implementation of lectures at the Biology Education Study Program at UIN Sunan Kalijaga Yogyakarta, so a solution is needed to answer these problems. Online learning is an alternative that can overcome this problem in an effort to reduce the spread of Covid-19 in the campus environment. The purpose of this study was to obtain an overview of online learning in the Biology Education Study Program at UIN Sunan Kalijaga Yogyakarta during the Covid-19 pandemic. Data were collected by interview via zoom cloud meeting. Data analysis was performed using interactive analysis techniques Miles & Huberman. The results showed that: (1) online learning has flexibility in its implementation and is able to encourageindependent learning and motivation to be more active in learning; (2) students already have the basic facilities needed to take part in online learning; and (3) distance learning encourages the emergence of social distancing behavior and minimizes the appearance of student crowds so that it is considered to reduce the potential for the spread of Covid-19 in tertiary institutions. Weak supervision of students, lack of strong signals in remote areas, and high quota fees are some of the challenges in online learning. Increasing independent learning, interest and motivation, courage to express ideas and questions are other advantages of online learning
