Get PDF目的：脳卒中術後に意識障害を残す患者の家族へのケアに対する看護師の認識を明らかにすること．
方法：脳外科病棟で５年以上の勤務経験を有する看護師17名を対象にグループインタビューを行い，
質的内容分析の手法を参考にして分析した．
結果：219の分析単位から，３つのカテゴリーと，１つのメインカテゴリー≪経験に基づく家族理
解と複雑な思いを孕むケアの実践≫が抽出された．
結論：看護師は，これまでの経験から，術後回復と意識回復の区別が難しい中でも患者の変化に敏
感な家族の特徴を把握していた．そして，患者を尊重して，家族の不安に配慮しながら患者のケア
に巻き込むことで，ともに回復を目指す家族ケアを実践していた．しかし実践には常に，葛藤の続
く家族への対応や一人で実践することの困難感が伴っていた．Objective: This study aimed to shed light on the awareness of nurse regarding care for families
of patients experiencing disorders of consciousness following surgery for stroke.
Methods: A group interview was conducted with 17 nurses, each with more than 5 years’
experience working in the cerebral surgery ward. Data were analyzed using qualitative content
analysis techniques.
Results: From the 219 units of analysis, 3 subcategories that made up 1 overarching category
were extracted: understanding of patients’ families through experiences and care practices in
which empathy and emotional intelligence are used.
Conclusions: From their experiences thus far, we can conclude that the nurses had been aware
of the characteristics of families who were perceptive about the changes in the patient, even
when it was difficult to distinguish between postoperative recovery and the recovery of consciousness. In addition, by respecting the patient and being involved in caring for the patient
while also being considerate of the family’s anxieties, the nurses had also been providing care for
families that aimed toward recovery. However, the nurses experienced difficulties when dealing

のものを変えることは難しいが，日常生活で入手しやすい食品を摂取することにより，便秘の改善
がなされるのではないかと考えた．既に実施した４週間の予備試験で，「蜂蜜」と「青汁」の摂取
により便秘改善に効果が期待できることがわかった．このうち，入手のしやすさと食べやすさで蜂
蜜を試験食品に選定し，便秘の高齢者に長期間摂取してもらい，便秘の改善に効果が見られるのか
検討した．被験者は蜂蜜を摂取する「5g 摂取群」と「10g 摂取群」，比較を行う「対照群」の３群
に分けた．その結果，「排便回数」「排便量」「便性状」の全てにおいて，蜂蜜を摂取した「5g 摂取
群」と「10g 摂取群」に有意差が見られた．また，「5g 摂取群」と「10g 摂取群」に大きな差は見
られなかった．高齢者が蜂蜜の摂取を続けることにより，便秘の改善に効果があると考える．departmental bulletin pape
To Keep on Playing the Tragic Hero on a Big London Stage —Edmund Kean’s Attempt in Keeping His Fame by Playing Hamlet and Othello in 1814—
Get PDFEdmund Kean made his debut on the London stage playing Shylock from Shakespeare’s
Merchant of Venice in January 1814. Shylock was swiftly followed by Richard from Shakespeare’s
histories Richard the Third. By playing these two roles he has made a name in London.
However to be able to keep performing on a big London stage Kean had to continue producing
successful reviews in each of the roles he will perform in front of London theatre critics and
audiences. His attempt in securing the lead position was clear in the choice of roles he would
perform after Shylock and Richard : which was Hamlet. Hamlet is still considered as a role that
shows the actor’s true ability in acting. And Kean’s attempt in playing Hamlet was a miserable
failure: especially in the eye of the theatre critics, although frocks of audiences gathered to the
theatre. But they were there to see Kean not Hamlet. And to make up for that failure he chose
another role that he thought would revive his assessment as an actor which was Othello. Yet
Othello and Hamlet is a character with somewhat shared qualities and the result was as
expected. To revive his two failed attempts Kean’s next choice of character was Iago from
Othello. In choosing a character that has shared qualities with Shylock and Richard of course
brought success which was easily granted. Yet by playing a similar role showed Kean’s limited
quality as an actor which would have been taken as a risk if he wanted to keep his position as
an leading London actor. However Kean was ready to embrace this risk and face the
