Evaluating the Effectiveness of the SQ3R Method in Enhancing Students' Reading Proficiency
Background: Reading proficiency plays a pivotal role in language acquisition, influencing comprehension levels. However, while the SQ3R method has been identified as a tool for enhancing reading skills, its practical application and effectiveness in high school English settings are insufficiently studied, revealing a significant research gap.
Methodology: This research employs a mixed-methods approach utilizing the Quan-qual model to address this gap comprehensively. Quantitative methods entail a true experimental design involving control and experimental groups, with 54 class X students purposively sampled. Additionally, qualitative data were collected through interviews with four representative students.
Findings: The findings reveal the effectiveness of the SQ3R method in improving reading achievement, supported by significant score enhancements in reading tests. Interviews with students also indicate positive attitudes toward SQ3R, boosting their motivation for reading. These results emphasize SQ3R's potential to elevate high school students' reading skills and enhance engagement in English language learning.
Conclusion: This study underscores the effectiveness of the SQ3R method in enhancing reading achievement among high school students. Utilizing a mixed-methods approach, it reveals substantial score enhancements in reading tests and positive student perceptions, indicating increased motivation for reading. These findings highlight SQ3R's potential to elevate reading proficiency and engagement in English language learning, offering valuable insights for educators and curriculum development.
Originality: The research identifies a gap in the exploration of the SQ3R method's application in high school English language learning, particularly regarding its effectiveness and students' perceptions. Further investigation is necessary to delve into qualitative aspects and involve diverse samples for a comprehensive understanding of English language learning in high school contexts
Pengaruh Koordinasi Mata Tangan Dan Percaya Diri Terhadap Kemampuan Dribbling Pada Permainan Bola Basket Siswa SMAN 2 Soppeng
The purpose of this research is (1) to determine whether there is an influence of eye-hand coordination on dribbling ability in basketball games among students at SMAN 2 Soppeng. (2) to find out whether there is an influence of self-confidence on dribbling ability in basketball games among students at SMAN 2 Soppeng. (3) to determine whether there is an influence of eye-hand coordination and self-confidence on dribbling ability in basketball games among students at SMAN 2 Soppeng. This research is of a descriptive and inferential nature. The target population is all students at SMAN 2 Soppeng, while the accessible population in this study consists of the 2nd-grade science and social science classes. The sample in this research is 30 male students from SMAN 2 Soppeng, selected through simple random sampling. The results of this study indicate that (1) there is a significant influence of eye-hand coordination on dribbling ability in basketball games among students at SMAN 2 Soppeng, amounting to 72.2%. (2) There is a significant influence of self-confidence on dribbling ability in basketball games among students at SMAN 2 Soppeng, amounting to 73.5%. (3) There is a significant influence of eye-hand coordination and self-confidence on dribbling ability in basketball games among students at SMAN 2 Soppeng, amounting to 81.1%.

Optimalisasi Biaya Pendidikan di SD Negeri 004 Berau melalui Pendekatan SWOT
Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk menganalisis dan mengoptimalkan biaya pendidikan di SD Negeri 004 Berau melalui pendekatan SWOT (Strengths, Weaknesses, Opportunities, Threats). Data dikumpulkan melalui wawancara mendalam dengan staf sekolah, observasi langsung, serta analisis dokumen keuangan dan laporan tahunan sekolah. Data sekunder diperoleh dari publikasi resmi pemerintah dan dokumen pendukung lainnya. Analisis SWOT mengidentifikasi kekuatan utama sekolah, seperti kualitas tenaga pengajar yang tinggi dan fasilitas pendidikan yang memadai, serta kelemahan signifikan berupa biaya operasional yang tinggi dan ketergantungan besar pada dana pemerintah. Peluang yang dapat dimanfaatkan termasuk potensi pendanaan tambahan dari sektor swasta dan pemanfaatan teknologi pendidikan. Namun, ancaman yang perlu diwaspadai meliputi ketidakstabilan ekonomi dan persaingan dengan sekolah lain. Berdasarkan hasil analisis, saran yang diajukan meliputi diversifikasi sumber pendanaan, pemanfaatan teknologi pendidikan, perencanaan keuangan yang cermat, dan pengembangan kerjasama dengan pihak eksternal.
Manajemen Sarana Dan Prasarana Dalam Meningkatkan Mutu Pembelajaran Di SMP Negeri 1 Muara Kaman
Dalam lembaga pendidikan, sarana dan prasarana merupakan salah satu komponen sistem manajemen; elemen-elemen ini memainkan peran penting dalam organisasi, institusi, atau sekolah mana pun. Kajian ini bertujuan untuk mengidentifikasi tantangan-tantangan yang ada, antara lain kurangnya materi pembelajaran dan belum optimalnya pengelolaan aset infrastruktur. Para peneliti dalam penelitian ini mengandalkan metodologi deskriptif kualitatif. Sebagian besar proses perencanaan, pengadaan, pemeliharaan, inventarisasi, dan pembuangan telah terlaksana dengan baik, menurut penelitian dan analisis data pengelolaan sarana dan prasarana SMP Negeri 1 Muara Kaman bertujuan untuk meningkatkan kualitas pembelajaran. Perencanaan pembelajaran secara umum berhasil, pelaksanaan pembelajaran secara umum efektif, dan hasil pembelajaran secara umum berupa pencapaian prestasi siswa pada ranah sikap, perilaku, pengetahuan, dan keterampilan; kesemuanya sangat dipengaruhi oleh kualitas pengelolaan sarana dan prasarana sekolah dalam hal ini
Penguatan Profil Pelajar Pancasila Dalam Implementasi Kurikulum Merdeka Belajar di UPT SPF SD inpres Manggala Kota Makassar
Research was carried out to find out how to implement, supporting factors, and inhibiting factors to strengthen the profile of Pancasasila students in implementing the independent curriculum. The type of research used in this research is descriptive qualitative. The research subjects were class IV UPT SPF SD Inpres Manggala. The data collection techniques used are observation, interviews and documentation. The research results obtained in strengthening the Pancasila student profile in implementing the independent curriculum behave in accordance with Pancasila with the existence of several dimensions of the Pancasila student profile and can help students and teachers to produce students who are independent and responsible for their learning processes and outcomes. The supporting factors are the development of character in students, the existence of project-based learning and coaching by teachers and the integration of Pancasila values, and support from parents. Then the inhibiting factors are the lack of understanding of students about how to adapt in learning, limited class time by teachers, teachers' understanding of how to organize learning modules and students' attitudes that lack interest in various subjects so that teachers find it difficult to apply good attitudes and independence to students
Implementasi Pendekatan Joyful Learning Terhadap Keterampilan Berpikir Kreatif Peserta Didik Kelas V di SD Negeri 3 Banjarangsana
Tujuan penelitian ini adalah untuk mendapatkan informasi tentang implementasi pendekatan Joyful Learning terhadap keterampilan berpikir kreatif peserta didik kelas V di SD Negeri 3 Banjarangsana, sehingga diperoleh informasi secara empiris. Pendekatan kuantitatif dengan pre-eksperimen One Group Pretest-Posttest Design dipilih sebagai metode dalam penelitian ini. Metode ini digunakan dengan tes awal (pretest) untuk mengetahui keadaan awal, setelah itu diberi tes akhir (posttest). Penelitian ini dilaksanakan di kelas V SD Negeri 3 Banjarangsana dengan sampel berjumlah 25 peserta didik, 15 laki-laki dan 10 perempuan. Teknik pengumpulan data dalam penelitian ini meliputi tes dan dokumentasi. Dengan instrumen penelitian berupa pretest dan posttest. Serta menggunakan teknik analisis data berupa uji hipotesis untuk mengukur seberapa besar pengaruh variabel X terhadap variabel Y dan sebagai pengujian hipotesis penelitian yang dikemukakan. Dari data yang diperoleh dalam penelitian, maka dilanjutkan dengan menulis data kemudian ditarik kesimpulan dengan menggunakan statistik parametrik. Berdasarkan hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa terdapat perubahan signifikan pada peserta didik yang diketahui dari hasil pretest, nilai rata-rata peserta didik adalah 51,33% sedangkan hasil rata-rata posttest adalah 82,08 dan dari hasil tersebut dapat diartikan bahwa terdapat pengaruh penggunaaan pendekatan Joyful Learning terhadap keterampilan berpikir kreatif peserta didik kelas V di SD Negeri 3 Banjarangsana.

Pengembangan kompetensi guru pendamping anak usia dini berkebutuhan khusus dengan autism spectrum disorder (ASD)
A teacher is a person who has academic competence and qualifications as a learning agent, provides knowledge, provides guidance and direction to students according to their scientific field, and will make students intelligent, smart, able to understand the knowledge that has been taught and has broad and critical thinking insights. Shadow teachers are teachers who work directly and face to face with children and assist the class teacher. The presence of a shadow teacher is very helpful in conditioning the class when the class teacher is providing lessons and explanations to students. Shadow teacher will deal with one student with special needs. Competency standards for shadow teachers meet three criteria, pedagogical standards, personality standards and professional standards. To become an shadow teacher, you need a supportive academic education, having an educational certificate at the level of D-IV/S1 PGTK or psychology or other relevant education. Or a diploma D-II PGTK from an accredited study program. The need for shadow teachers who are really needed by inclusive schools is not yet balanced with the number of students with special needs in schools. Apart from that, shadow teachers have not been provided with adequate training. This research was carried out through a literature review with a qualitative approach. The systematic review process uses various literature reviews and articles from national scale scientific journals. The analysis obtained from the study is that training is needed to support the competence of accompanying teachers in the process of teaching students with special needs. The training required is 1) explanation of inclusive education, 2) children with special needs and their characteristics and diversity, 3) growth and development of children with special needs, 4) how to provide stimulation to children with special needs, 5) how to care for and protect children with special needs, 6 ) create an individual learning program. The number of shadow teachers currently in Samarinda city inclusive schools is not yet comparable to the inclusion schools that have been decreed by the Mayor
Peran Kepala Sekolah sebagai Pemimpin Transformasional di Sekolah Menengah Kejuruan
This study aims to analyze the role of the principal as a transformational leader in Vocational High Schools (SMK) and its impact on educational effectiveness. Qualitative research methods with a literature study approach are used to examine theories of transformational leadership and best practices in the context of education. Data were obtained through a literature review of relevant books, scientific journals, and official websites. Data analysis techniques using the Miles and Huberman method include data reduction, data presentation, and drawing conclusions. The study shows that principals who act as transformational leaders have the ability to inspire and motivate other members of the school community to achieve common goals, encourage innovation, and manage resources effectively. The study found that principals who play an effective transformational role not only set the direction and goals of teaching, but also significantly help improve the quality of teaching and prepare students for the world of work..

Penelitian menunjukkan bahwa kepala sekolah yang berperan sebagai pemimpin transformasional memiliki kemampuan untuk menginspirasi dan memotivasi anggota komunitas sekolah lainnya untuk mencapai tujuan bersama, mendorong inovasi, dan mengelola sumber daya secara efektif. Studi ini menemukan bahwa kepala sekolah yang menjalankan peran transformasional yang efektif tidak hanya menetapkan arah dan tujuan pengajaran, tetapi juga secara signifikan membantu meningkatkan kualitas pengajaran dan mempersiapkan siswa untuk dunia kerja.

Peran Kepemimpinan Kepala Sekolah dalam Mengimplementasikan Merdeka Belajar di Sekolah Dasar
The role and responsibilities of the school principal are very crucial in achieving learning goals. This study aims to improve understanding of the functions and leadership of school principals in achieving educational goals. In addition, this study also attempts to examine the influence of principal leadership on achieving educational goals. No field survey was conducted in this study. Instead, researchers collected data from books, magazines, articles, and other sources relevant to the principal's duties in achieving goals in elementary schools. They also reviewed previous research. The results of the study revealed that (1) the principal formulates school policy strategies and methods to achieve educational goals, and (2) the role of the principal has great significance for school success. This program was initiated by Nadiem Makarim, Minister of Education, Culture, Research, and Technology.Peran dan tanggung jawab kepala sekolah sangat krusial dalam mencapai tujuan pembelajaran. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk meningkatkan pemahaman tentang fungsi dan kepemimpinan kepala sekolah dalam meraih sasaran pendidikan. Selain itu, penelitian ini juga berupaya mengkaji pengaruh kepemimpinan kepala sekolah terhadap pencapaian sasaran pendidikan. Tidak ada survei lapangan yang dilakukan dalam penelitian ini. Sebagai gantinya, peneliti mengumpulkan data dari buku, majalah, artikel, dan sumber lain yang relevan dengan tugas kepala sekolah dalam mencapai tujuan di sekolah dasar. Mereka juga meninjau penelitian terdahulu. Hasil penelitian mengungkapkan bahwa (1) kepala sekolah merumuskan strategi kebijakan sekolah serta metode untuk mencapai tujuan pendidikan, dan (2) peran kepala sekolah memiliki signifikansi besar terhadap keberhasilan sekolah. Program ini diinisiasi oleh Nadiem Makarim, Menteri Pendidikan, Kebudayaan, Riset, dan Teknologi.

STRATEGI KEPEMIMPINAN SEKOLAH DAN PENGEMBANGAN PROFESIONALISME GURU DI ERA DIGITAL MENDUKUNG INTEGRASI TEKNOLOGI DALAM PENDIDIKAN
ABSTRACT
In the era of digitalization, effective school leadership and teacher professionalism development are crucial for successful integration of technology in education. This research aims to explore the strategies of school leadership and the development of teacher professionalism in the digital era. Using a qualitative approach, data were collected through interviews and observations from 10 teachers and 2 school leaders. The findings reveal that clear vision and strategic planning by school leaders are essential in guiding schools towards effective technology integration. Training and ongoing professional development for teachers play a significant role in enhancing their technological skills and innovative teaching practices. Collaboration among teachers and adequate technical support are also crucial factors in promoting effective technology use in education. The study contributes to a deeper understanding of how school leadership and teacher professionalism influence learning effectiveness in the digital age.
