Les processus d’intégration régionale en Afrique seront-ils importants pour tenter de répondre à la crise? Ou la réponse se trouvera-t-elle dans des acteurs extracontinentaux? Impacto do medo face à Covid-19 no suporte social e na ansiedade de mulheres com cancro da mama
Get PDFDissertação de mestrado em Psicologia Clínica, Universidade Lusíada de Lisboa, 2024Exame público realizado em 05 de setembro de 2024O presente estudo pretende explorar três variáveis referentes ao cancro da mama, mais especificamente o medo face à Covid-19, o suporte social e a ansiedade, sendo estas o foco da investigação. O principal objetivo prende-se na compreensão do impacto do medo face à Covid-19 no suporte social e na ansiedade de mulheres com cancro da mama. De modo a recolher os dados necessários foram utilizados três instrumentos, um referente ao medo face à Covid-19, a Escala de medo face à Covid-19, outro referente ao suporte social, a escala de Satisfação com o Suporte Social, e por último outro referente à ansiedade, o Inventário de Ansiedade de Beck. A amostra (n=58) foi constituída por um conjunto de indivíduos do sexo feminino, entre os 20 e 65 anos de idade, detentores de doença oncológica, mais especificamente cancro da mama. Os resultados obtidos sugerem que a amostra em estudo revela níveis médios de medo face à Covid-19, explicados como resultado das consequências psicológicas da pandemia verificadas na saúde mental da população; níveis moderados de ansiedade, assim como níveis intermédios de satisfação com o suporte social percebido, interpretados mediante as suscetibilidades inerentes ao cancro da mama, o receio da exposição ao vírus, o isolamento social e o decréscimo de disposição e energia na realização de atividades.The present study aims to explore three variables related to breast cancer, more specifically fear in the face of Covid-19, social support, and anxiety, which are the focus of the investigation. The main objective is to understand the impact of fear in the face of Covid-19 on the social support and anxiety of women with breast cancer. In order to collect the necessary data, three instruments were used, one referring to fear of Covid-19, the Fear of Covid-19 Scale, another referring to social support, the Satisfaction with Social Support scale, and finally another referring to anxiety, the Beck Anxiety Inventory. The sample (n=58) consisted of a group of female individuals, between 20 and 65 years of age, with an oncological disease, more specifically breast cancer. The results obtained suggest that the sample under study reveals average levels of fear regarding Covid-19, explained as a result of the psychological consequences of the pandemic verified on the mental health of the population; moderate levels of anxiety, as well as intermediate levels of satisfaction with perceived social support, interpreted through the susceptibilities inherent to breast cancer, fear of exposure to the virus, social isolation and decreased disposition and energy when carrying out activities
A literacia financeira no perfil de risco de um investidor : estudo da literacia financeira dos portugueses e a sua influência no perfil de risco de um investidor
Get PDFMestrado em GestãoExame Público realizado em 11 de abril de 2024Este estudo tem como como objetivo analisar a influência da literacia financeira no perfil de risco de um investidor. Para atingir este objetivo é realizado um inquérito para avaliar os conhecimentos, comportamentos e atitudes financeiras dos indivíduos, para identificar os diferentes graus de literacia dos participantes, tal como identificar a situação financeira, os objetivos e as noções de investimentos para posteriormente se analisar e compreender, os vários perfis de risco. A metodologia utilizada é uma pesquisa quantitativa e uma amostragem não probabilística por conveniência, com recurso ao inquérito por questionário online com perguntas relacionadas com os dois temas. Para o tratamento estatístico e estimação dos modelos é utilizado o E-Views.
Hoje é importante para um individuo realizar boas escolhas financeiras e fazer uma boa gestão do seu dinheiro para conseguir viver de uma forma estável. Este estudo é relevância porque pretende medir, o nível de literacia dos participantes. Posteriormente compara-se o nível de educação e conhecimentos, com o tipo de investidor, para perceber os fatores influenciadores da literacia financeira ou outros no tipo de investimento.
Conclui-se que a grande maioria dos inquiridos apresenta uma fraca literacia financeira e um perfil de risco moderado. A literacia financeira é de grande importância para o perfil de risco, mas apenas os conhecimentos financeiros voltados para os investimentos foram dados como influenciadores. Como a maior parte dos participantes tem uma fraca educação financeira e não tem objetivos financeiros bem definidos, os valores e os comportamentos financeiros nada influenciaram no perfil de risco porque não estavam de acordo com o investimento pretendido.
Em suma, este estudo destaca a importância da literacia financeira na tomada de decisões de investimento e sugere que o conhecimento financeiro adequado pode melhorar os resultados financeiros dos investidores.

To achieve this objective, a survey is conducted to assess the financial knowledge, behaviors, and attitudes of individuals, in order to identify the different levels of literacy among participants, as well as to identify their financial situation, objectives, and investment preferences. Subsequently, the study analyzes and comprehends the various risk profiles. The methodology employed is a quantitative research approach using a non-probabilistic convenience sampling method, with an online questionnaire survey related to the two subjects. E-Views is used for statistical analysis and model estimation.
Today, it is important for an individual to make sound financial choices and effectively manage their money to lead a stable life. This study is relevant because it intends to measure the participants' level of financial literacy. Subsequently, it compares the level of education and knowledge with the type of investor to understand the influencing factors of financial literacy or other aspects in the type of investment.
It is concluded that the majority of respondents exhibit low financial literacy and a moderate risk profile. Financial literacy plays a significant role in the risk profile, but only financial knowledge related to investments was identified as an influencing factor. Since most participants have limited financial education and undefined financial goals, values and financial behaviors had no impact on the risk profile because they were not aligned with the intended investment.
In summary, this study highlights the importance of financial literacy in investment decision-making and suggests that appropriate financial knowledge can enhance investors' financial outcomes.

Sustainability in architecture : application of the passive house concept in Portugal

As reservas de petróleo são finitas e estão a esgotar-se rapidamente. A fiabilidade e a sustentabilidade do aprovisionamento energético têm sido objeto de escrutínio. Além disso, a atual concentração de dióxido de carbono na atmosfera representa uma ameaça iminente para a estabilidade do planeta. Se não forem tomadas medidas corretivas, a humanidade poderá ser obrigada a adaptar-se a um aumento médio da temperatura de 6°C, um cenário que perturbaria fundamentalmente o equilíbrio do nosso planeta.
Os esforços para transformar o paradigma energético prevalecente não são apenas uma perspetiva para um futuro distante; exigem respostas imediatas e o estabelecimento de objectivos ambiciosos. É imperativo reduzir o consumo de energia e fazer a transição para fontes de energia alternativas. O conceito de passive house surgiu como uma solução pragmática e eficiente, respondendo a preocupações relacionadas com a eficiência energética, a viabilidade económica e o conforto geral.
A tarefa que temos em mãos envolve a implementação do conceito de Casa Passiva em projetos de construção em Portugal e a elevação dos padrões de eficiência energética e de conforto do parque edificado existente, mantendo ao mesmo tempo a acessibilidade económica. Ao fazê-lo, podemos contribuir significativamente para a redução do consumo de energia, a mitigação das emissões de CO₂ e o aumento da autossuficiência energética do nosso país, contribuindo assim para a exploração da sustentabilidade no domínio da arquitetura em Portugal.The current pattern of energy consumption, predominantly dependent on oil, and its observed growth rates, are the underlying source of numerous challenges facing humanity. Oil reserves are finite and rapidly running out. The reliability and sustainability of energy supplies have been scrutinised. In addition, the current concentration of carbon dioxide in the atmosphere poses an imminent threat to the stability of the planet. If corrective measures are not taken, humanity could be forced to adapt to an average temperature rise of 6°C, a scenario that would fundamentally upset the balance of our planet.
Efforts to transform the prevailing energy paradigm are not just a prospect for the distant future; they require immediate responses and the setting of ambitious goals. It is imperative to reduce energy consumption and make the transition to alternative energy sources. The passive house concept has emerged as a pragmatic and efficient solution, responding to concerns related to energy efficiency, economic viability and general comfort.
The task at hand involves implementing the Passive House concept in construction projects in Portugal and raising the energy efficiency and comfort standards of the existing building stock, while maintaining af fordability. In doing so, we can make a significant contribution to reducing energy consumption, mitigating CO₂ emissions and increasing our country’s energy self-sufficiency, thus contributing to the exploration of sustainability in the field of architecture in Portugal
