A Study on Structural Optimization of SEA Subsystems assumed to be Power Flow as Objective Function
This paper describes a structural optimization method for subsystems in statistical energy analysis (SEA). The objective function is power flow (PF), which shows the power flow between the subsystems. Under the constraint function that is the total mass, the design variable is taken as the thickness of each subsystem in the case of analytical SEA in commercial SEA software VA One. The proposed method is based on a combination of SEA and FEM calculation, calculating repeatedly until satisfying the value of objective functions under arbitrary constraints. A result of applying the proposed method to a simple structure consisting of two flat plates connected in an L-shaped configuration is given. The validity of the optimal thickness distribution by proposed method were verified by comparison of subsystem energy, input power, natural frequency and coupling loss factor before and after optimization.departmental bulletin pape
Preliminary Study on the Development of a Shipbuilding Technology Simulator
With regard to recent shipbuilding techniques, welding technicians with advanced skills in fabricating steel structures is decreasing. In particular, there is concern about a decrease in productivity and weld quality in the field where welding is used for various applications. The author has been working in cooperation with Nagasaki Prefecture since 2013 to develop a "shipbuilding technology simulator" to educate unskilled young technicians at the production site of the shipbuilding industry. He developed a simulator utilizing the ICT and performs the assessment of technicians welding skills and the visualization of technical knowledge. In this study, for the purpose of development of welding simulator, it was decided to investigate out a study on the determination of weld quality by the operator using the welding arc sound.departmental bulletin pape

War and Peace Described in Textbooks for Moral Education in The People's Republic of China--Integration through Moral Textbooks
Moral education textbooks of “Morality and Life” and “Morality and Society” in the PRC combine history, geography and politics with morality in a world view. Morality is not integrated as a separate world view within personality, as it is in Japan, but it is overwhelmingly organized outside of children themselves. We analyzed 10 kinds of moral education textbooks used in the PRC, published from 2002 to 2013. In Chinese moral textbooks, the history of the Opium War and the defeat of the Japanese military are organized in order to legitimize the Chinese Communist party's integration and operation within China. Peace in these textbooks is not only viewed as the opposite of War, but the concept richly includes a view of the Chinese people’s liberation, global unity of economy with other countries, development of science and technology in the PRC, along with world politics from a Chinese perspective.departmental bulletin pape
Non-linear Curve Fitting by Linear Least-squares Method with Space Compensation Ability
Recently, new technologies such as Industry4.0 and/or Internet of Thing (IoT) are being studied as part of rapid advances in information and communication technology (ICT), where the importance of real-time processing is anticipated to increase.
The least-squares method (LSM) is one of the most popular ways to determine the characteristics of measured data. Iteration calculation is frequently used to obtain a high preciseness on the batch processing in LSM applied to non-linear curve fitting, but adaptive control equipment and other real-time computer systems need to reduce the steps of data processing for time-sharing.
In this paper, a new linear LSM with space compensation ability is presented to balance high preciseness and reduction of the amount of data processing even for non-linear curve fitting, and it is evaluated in comparison with results from linear LSM without space compensation ability and non-linear LSM with iteration.departmental bulletin pape

The Formation of the College Related Facilities in Amakusa
“The Society of Jesus Japanese Report Collection” has been analyzed from early times. I’ll report on 16th and 17th century Christianity from the angle of the area science-colony forming viewpoint. The existence of Amakusa College was confirmed from that book, but there is no established theory. It was proven that Kawachiura, in a narrow sense, is the location of Amakusa by the effort of historians in 1990. But the exact location remains unknown. I present a hypothesis about the location and the constitution of Christian facilities in Kawachiura.departmental bulletin pape

The Formation of an Initial Cathedral and a Christian Village in the Goto Islands
In the 16th century, it is known that Almeida and Lorenzo conducted missionary work and preached Christianity in the Goto islands. However, it is not yet well known how Christian culture affected the formation of villages. I made Fukue and Okuura, which are the main church locations, an example and presented a hypothesis about the formation of villages and Christianity facilities.departmental bulletin pape
