John Jay Blake Collection
J. J. Blake was born in Vermont, Wisconsin in 1870. Blake graduated with a B.L. degree from the University of Wisconsin. In 1894 he came to Idaho and practiced law with E. J. Frawley until 1898. Correspondence, financial records, case files and miscellaneous records of Blake's law practice in association with E.J. Frawley, William E. Borah, and C.C. Cavanah; and as attorney for Boise City, Idaho. Also includes records concerning Blake's mining interests
