Os limites do lugar no ocidente: breve revisão das circunscrições topológicas
Get PDFIn this review is discussed how the topological representations - those that say that they are the places and spaces - are used for political, economic and ecological ends, from their speeches of truth and legitimacy of world concepts. It were analyzed as circumscriptions of the place in the West, considering the individuals and their locations, in ways of aggregating and segregating. The representations here, they are characterized by circular figures in intransitive lines and sedimented from hierarchies and estates. Such divisions point to what has been conventionally termed, in modernity, social groups, lineages, castes, etc. In addition to two circumscribing, disaggregating and excluding of the other, there is a strong negative environmental character in relation to the constituted place Idealist and politically: the city, the ideal urban spaces. There is a strong negative character of the environment in relation to the place due to the formation of the cities, considered as the ideal urban spaces.Nessa revisão é discutido como as representações topológicas - aquelas que dizem o que são os lugares e espaços - são utilizadas para fins políticos, econômicos e ecológicos, a partir dos seus discursos de verdade e legitimidade de conceitos de mundo. Foram analisadas as circunscrições do lugar no Ocidente, considerando os indivíduos e suas localizações, em formas de agregar e segregar. As representações aqui consideradas se caracterizaram por meio de figuras circulares em linhas intransitivas e sedimentadas a partir de hierarquias e estamentos. Tais divisões apontam para o que convencionou-se denominar, na modernidade, de grupos sociais, linhagens, castas, etc. Além dos aspectos circunscritivo, desagregativo e excludente do outro, há um forte caráter de afastamento negativo do meio ambiente em relação ao lugar constituído idealista e politicamente: a cidade, os espaços urbanos ideais. Fibras de Cocos nucifera como sorvente de petróleo em ambiente marinho
Get PDFThe main environmental impacts caused by oil activities are derived from exploration, transportation and refining activities. Following the Gulf of Mexico accident in 2010, increased global environmental concern in developing methods and materials that have the ability to remove, recover and degrade oil. The present study aimed to take advantage of the coconut residue (Cocos nucifera L.) as sorbent in oil spill in the marine environment. The results showed that, in addition to the good sorption capacity of oil with a high presence of n-alkanes, the use of coconut fiber without heat treatment is better, whereas coconut fiber with heat treatment is more suitable for oil with high presence of resins and asphaltenes.Os principais impactos ambientais causados por atividades petrolíferas são decorrentes de atividades de exploração, transporte e refino. Após o acidente do Golfo do México em 2010, aumentou a preocupação ambiental global em desenvolvimento de métodos e materiais que tenham capacidade de remover, recuperar e degradar o petróleo. O presente estudo objetivou aproveitar o resíduo de coco (Cocos nucifera L.) como sorvente em derramamento de óleo no ambiente marinho. Os resultados evidenciaram que, além da boa capacidade de sorção de óleo com grande presença de n- alcanos, o uso da fibra de coco sem tratamento térmico é melhor, enquanto a fibra de coco com tratamento térmico é mais adequada para óleo com grande presença de resinas e asfaltenos
