Imperfecciones Controladas: Integrando lo natural en la gráfica digital arquitectónica
No full textThe digitization in architectural graphic representation has led to a quest for perfection that often overlooks the authenticity and irregularity of the real world. This article addresses how the deliberate inclusion of "controlled imperfections" can reintroduce humanity and authenticity into these forms of representation, enhancing the aesthetic experience and the emotional connection of the viewer.
The study aims to explore the role of imperfections in digital architectural graphic representation, arguing that they can enrich the visual narrative and aesthetic perception. The methodology is based on a phenomenological and hermeneutic analysis of the proposal "Rustic Whispers: Corten Dreams in Italy\u27s Countryside" for the competition “Rural Housing: The Adaptive Reuse of an Italian Cascina”, in which compositional elements that lead to the integration of irregular and natural elements in the graphic representation are identified, as it unfolds in the discursive scenario of architectural competitions.
The main results of the analysis show that the integration of these imperfections not only increases the realism of the representations but also promotes a greater connection between the viewer and the work. Representations enriched with imperfections invite deeper exploration and offer a more immersive and sensory visual narrative. In conclusion, the adoption of this concept in digital architectural representations challenges the homogeneity and sterility of digital perfection, promoting a more human architecture connected with its environment.La digitalización en la representación gráfica arquitectónica ha llevado a una búsqueda de perfección, que a menudo omite la autenticidad y la irregularidad del mundo real. Este artículo aborda cómo la inclusión deliberada de "imperfecciones controladas" puede reintroducir la humanidad y la autenticidad en estas formas de representación, mejorando la experiencia estética y la conexión emocional del espectador.
El objetivo del estudio es explorar el rol de las imperfecciones en la representación gráfica arquitectónica digital, argumentando que pueden enriquecer la narrativa visual y la percepción estética. La metodología tiene por base un análisis con enfoque fenomenológico y hermenéutico de la propuesta Rustic Whispers: Corten Dreams in Italy\u27s Countryside, para el concurso Rural Housing: The Adaptive Reuse o an Italian Cascina, en donde se identifican elementos compositivos que se dirigen hacia la integración de elementos irregulares y naturales en la representación gráfica, mientras esta se desenvuelve en el escenario discursivo de las competiciones arquitectónicas.
Los resultados principales del análisis muestran que la integración de estas imperfecciones no solo aumenta el realismo de las representaciones, sino que también fomenta una mayor conexión entre el espectador y la obra. Las representaciones enriquecidas con imperfecciones invitan a una exploración más profunda y ofrecen una narrativa visual más envolvente y sensorial. Se concluye que la adopción de este concepto, en las representaciones digitales arquitectónicas, desafía la homogeneidad y la esterilidad de la perfección digital, y fomenta una arquitectura más humana y conectada con su entorno
Perfil Psicológico de Buenos y Malos Pagadores de Crédito en Barranquilla, Colombia
No full textThe financial world profits from the credit product, in turn, users can acquire goods that would otherwise be impossible for them. However, the circle is broken if one of the parties fails to comply, therefore, detecting possible bad payers in advance is important for companies. Research is done to discern personality traits of good and bad credit payers. First stage consists of in-depth interviews to ten analysts and credit users. It is found that bad payers tend to indulge in external elements, being ostentatious, impulsive, and short-term; good payers, instead, indulge in internal elements. Money is a shelter to good payers, while it becomes a satisfaction, an oppression even a treason to bad ones. There are two profiles for bad payers: indifferent and addicted. For second research stage, nine factors and 48 items, with a Likert scale, are tested on 100 people. Factor analysis reduces factors to five. Money and calm are factors that identify bad payers.El mundo financiero obtiene ganancias del producto crédito, a su vez, los usuarios pueden adquirir bienes que de otra manera les sería imposible. Sin embargo, el círculo se rompe si una de las partes incumple, por ello, para las empresas es importante detectar con anticipación posibles malos pagadores. La investigación busca descubrir rasgos de personalidad de buenos y malos pagadores. La primera etapa consiste en entrevistas a profundidad con diez analistas y usuarios de crédito. Se revela que los malos pagadores tienden a ser ostentosos, impulsivos, cortoplacistas y encuentran satisfacción en elementos externos. Mientras que los buenos pagadores encuentran satisfacción en elementos internos. Para los buenos pagadores el dinero cobija, para los malos pagadores el dinero satisface, oprime o traiciona. Hay dos perfiles de malos pagadores: indiferentes y adictos. En la segunda etapa de investigación se establecen nueve factores y 48 ítems con escala de Likert que son probados en 100 personas. El análisis factorial reduce a cinco los factores. Los factores dinero y calma permiten identificar a los malos pagadores

No full textThis scientific article shows part of the results of an investigation that aims to analyze cases of gender-based violence, attended and referred by the Echeandía Health Establishment - Type “C”, which were not received by the State Attorney General’s Office and Unit Multi-competent Judiciary, belonging to the Echeandía Canton, during the period January-August 2023.The analysis of the Notification Forms of cases of alleged gender violence and serious violations of human rights will allow us to know the number of cases of gender-based violence that remained impunity and to examine the independent variables of the cases of gender-based violence: gender identity, age groups, self-definition of ethnicity, place of residence (urban or rural), type of violence they have suffered and identification of the alleged aggressor.This investigation shows that the State Attorney General’s Office and the Multicompetent Judicial Unit, belonging to the Echeandía Canton, play a fundamental role for victims, not only by receiving complaints or by stopping an episode of ill-treatment but as a generic resource that validates them and links them with other resources that allow them to manage their way out of violence.El presente artículo muestra parte de los resultados de una investigación que pretende analizar los casos de violencia basada en género (VBG), atendidos y derivados por el Establecimiento de Salud Echeandía-Tipología “C”, que no fueron receptados por la Fiscalía General del Estado y la Unidad Judicial Multicompetente, pertenecientes al cantón Echeandía, durante el período enero-agosto, 2023.
Mediante el análisis de los formularios de notificación de casos de presunta violencia de género y graves violaciones a los derechos humanos, se podrá conocer el número de casos de VBG que se quedaron en la impunidad y examinar sus variables independientes: Identidad de género, grupos de edad, autodefinición de etnia, lugar de residencia (urbana o rural), tipo de violencia que han sufrido e identificación del presunto agresor.Esta investigación muestra que, la Fiscalía General del Estado y la Unidad Judicial Multicompetente,pertenecientes al cantón Echeandía, cumplen un rol fundamental para las víctimas, no únicamente mediante la recepción de denuncias o para frenar un episodio de malos tratos, sino como recurso genérico que las valida y las vincula con otros recursos que les permitan gestionar su salida de la violencia

The system uses geo-database and application development modules that are integrated with internet communication systems. It is designed to cover all stages of oil spill management, including before, during, and after an accident. The system can be linked with various satellites, airborne monitoring systems, and ground devices through communication systems to facilitate oil spill early warning, situational analysis, risk analysis, damage analysis, monitoring, and management in real-time. The components of the system include a database, central repository, disaster models, command and control, and communication schemes. This paper illustrates the conjunction of computer software and hardware with a variety of models and technologies for real-time oil spill monitoring and management.este artículo presenta un sistema de gestión de derra-mes de petróleo que es interactivo y en tiempo real. el sistema utiliza módulos de desarrollo de aplicaciones y geobases de datos, que se integran con los siste-mas de comunicación por internet. está diseñado para cubrir todas las etapas de la gestión de derrames de petróleo, incluso antes, durante y después de un ac-cidente. el sistema se puede vincular con varios sa-télites, sistemas de monitoreo aéreo y dispositivos te-rrestres, a través de sistemas de comunicación, para facilitar la alerta temprana de derrames de petróleo, el análisis de situación, el análisis de riesgos, el análisis de daños, el monitoreo y la gestión en tiempo real. los componentes del sistema incluyen una base de datos, un repositorio central, modelos de desastres, comando y control, y esquemas de comunicación. este artículo ilustra la conjunción de software y hardware con una variedad de modelos y tecnologías para el monitoreo y gestión de derrames de petróleo en tiempo real
Femicidio y violencia de género en Ecuador: Hallazgos claves y tendencias emergentes
No full textFemicide is a serious social problem that has persisted since ancient times and that unfortunately is still present in our contemporary reality. Along the same lines, the objective of this study is to diagnose the historical behavior of cases of femicide and its relationship with complaints filed for gender violence. Likewise, the research has a quantitative approach and is characterized by the use of statistical tests such as: Kolmogorov-Smirnov, Kendall\u27s Tau-b Correlation and Box-Jenkins ARIMA models to analyze time series. On the other hand, the design is not experimental and longitudinal, examining various time periods from 2014 to 2022. In addition, it is an explanatory-correlational study that seeks to establish the relationship between femicide and its explanatory variables. The main results are: (i) the time series of femicide does not follow a normal distribution; (ii) present seasonality on special dates; (iii) a significant percentage of victims were financially dependent on their partners; (iv) a high concentration of cases is observed in urban areas; and (v) certain types of taxpayer complaints to mitigate this problem. In conclusion, this is research that examines the evolution of femicide and its link with complaints of gender violence, providing relevant results for the design of public policies regarding the prevention and eradication of all types of gender violence against women.El femicidio es un problema social grave que persiste desde tiempos ancestrales y, lamentablemente, sigue dándose en nuestra realidad contemporánea. Tomando en cuenta esto, el objetivo del presente estudio es diagnosticar el comportamiento histórico de los casos de femicidio y su relación con las denuncias presentadas por violencia de género. Asimismo, la investigación tiene un enfoque cuantitativo, el cual está caracterizado por la utilización de pruebas estadísticas como: Kolmogórov-Smirnov, Correlación de Tau-b de Kendall y los modelos Arima de Box-Jenkins para analizar series temporales. Por otra parte, el diseño es no-experimental y longitudinal, y examina varios períodos de tiempo desde el año 2014 hasta 2022. Además, es un estudio explicativo-correlacional, que busca establecer la relación entre el femicidio y sus variables explicativas. Los principales resultados son: (i) la serie temporal de femicidios no sigue una distribución normal; (ii) el femicidio presenta estacionalidad en fechas especiales; (iii) un porcentaje significativo de víctimas dependía económicamente de sus parejas; (iv) se observa una alta concentración de casos en zonas urbanas; y, (v) ciertos tipos de denuncias contribuyen a mitigar esta problemática. En conclusión, se trata de una investigación que examina la evolución del femicidio y su vínculo con las denuncias por violencia de género, lo cual aporta resultados relevantes para el diseño de políticas públicas, en materia de prevención y erradicación de todo tipo de violencia de género contra las mujeres
La diáspora africana en Ecuador: memorias, conexiones e historias olvidadas
No full textThe article highlights the importance of promoting the study of the African diaspora in Ecuador and the region. By reviewing literature from different parts of the world, it seeks to serve as a trigger for undergraduate and graduate students interested in the comprehensive and multidisciplinary inclusion of the topic of slavery.
Building upon Lucio Ferreira\u27s studies in Brazil (2009), a critical review and deductive bibliographic discussion are conducted, linking ideas, theoretical conceptions, and concepts with the aim of constructing sustained empirical evidence (Sautu 2006, 87). Authors from different continents gather diverse research experiences from museums and heritage sites related to the African diaspora. This work addresses the limited number of long-term, extensive, and impactful studies available on Ecuador.
The present study maps possibilities for contribution in this line of research, seeking to shed light on those excluded from official history without real representation in the memory of their country. The review and analysis of scientific production databases conclude that the state and research criteria tied to the official version have hindered and allowed the loss of crucial time and evidence for understanding the past and its impact on contemporary society.El artículo resalta la importancia de promover el estudio de la diáspora africana en Ecuador y la región, al repasar bibliografía de diferentes partes del mundo, busca convertirse en un disparador para quienes cursan carreras de pre y posgrado con intereses en la inclusión del tema de la esclavitud en su vasta complejidad, de una forma más integral y multidisciplinaria.
Partiendo de los estudios de Lucio Ferreira (2009) en Brasil, se realiza una revisión crítica y discusión bibliográfica deductiva que vincula ideas, concepciones teóricas y conceptos con proyección a la construcción sostenida de evidencia empírica (Sautu, 2006, p. 87), en donde, autores de distintos continentes recogen diversas experiencias investigativas de museos y sitios patrimoniales vinculados a la diáspora africana. De frente, al reducido número de estudios de largo aliento, alcance e impacto que se encuentran sobre Ecuador.
El presente trabajo mapea posibilidades de aporte en esa línea de investigación en búsqueda de los excluidos de la historia oficial sin una representación real en la memoria de su país. La revisión y análisis de bases de datos de producción científica concluye que el Estado y los criterios de investigación sobre la versión oficial ha retrasado y permitido la pérdida de tiempo y evidencias cruciales para comprender el pasado y su impacto en la sociedad actual

No full textThe essay performs a theoretical and historical review of the foundations of capitalism, the stock market, and its functionality in capitalism, seen within the context of business development, economic development, and international economic crises. Through a bibliographic, historical-analytical and descriptive review, we have reached the conclusion that, despite the risks that may come from flexible limits on stock exchanges, as in the cases of the Great Depression of 1929 or in the Great Recession of 2008, the benefits of the existence of an stock market are greater because they it helps to generate increases in savings, capital investments, job creation and, in general, in the well-being of society. La FORMALIZACIÓN DE EMPRENDEDORES Y SU RELACIÓN EN LA CONTRIBUCIÓN TRIBUTARIA A LA SUNAT EN LA PROVINCIA DE CORONEL PORTILLO
No full textObjective: Determine the relationship between the formalization of entrepreneurs and their tax contribution to SUNAT in the province of Coronel Portillo. Method: An applied research design with a quantitative, non-experimental, transversal and correlational approach was used. Data collection was carried out through surveys, using a questionnaire as an instrument. For the analysis, Spearman\u27s statistical evaluation test was applied, obtaining a Rh0 coefficient of 0.893, which indicates a strong relationship between the variables. Results: The results showed that the entrepreneurs\u27 intention to formalize is not necessarily linked to their level of tax culture. Some entrepreneurs with low tax knowledge express interest in formalizing, while others with greater tax culture did not do so due to distrust of the State. Conclusion: The formalization of entrepreneurs significantly influences their tax contribution, as indicated by the high correlation coefficient found. However, trust in the State is presented as a determining factor in the formalization process, showing that promoting tax culture alone does not guarantee an increase in tax contributions.Objetivo: Determinar la relación entre la formalización de los emprendedores y su contribución tributaria a la SUNAT en la provincia de Coronel Portillo. Método:Se empleó un diseño de investigación aplicado con enfoque cuantitativo, no experimental, transversal y de alcance correlacional. La recolección de datos se realizó mediante encuestas, utilizando un cuestionario como instrumento. Para el análisis, se aplicó la prueba estadística de evaluación de Spearman, obteniendo un coeficiente Rho de 0.893, lo que indica una fuerte relación entre las variables. Resultados: Los resultados mostraron que la intención de formalización de los emprendedores no está necesariamente vinculada a su nivel de cultura tributaria. Algunos emprendedores con bajo conocimiento tributario manifiestan interés en formalizarse, mientras que otros con mayor cultura tributaria no lo hicieron debido a la desconfianza hacia el Estado. Conclusión: La formalización de los emprendedores influye significativamente en su contribución tributaria, como lo indica el alto coeficiente de correlación encontrado. Sin embargo, la confianza en el Estado se presenta como un factor determinante en el proceso de formalización, evidenciando que fomentar la cultura tributaria por sí sola no garantiza un aumento de las contribuciones tributarias

No full textThe undue retention of a son or daughter by a parent constitutes a serious problem of violation of the rights of children and adolescents in Ecuador. At the same time, it puts at risk the health and physical and psychological integrity of children and adolescents,
since it constitutes a form of child abuse. The general objective of this research is to identify the consequences of the undue retention by a parent on the health and well-being of a son or daughter in Ecuador during the last decade. The research question is what are the consequences of the undue retention by a parent on the health and well-being of a son or daughter in Ecuador during the last decade? The methodology used was bibliographical. The results show that the undue retention of a son or daughter by a parent causes severe repercussions on their health and well-being at a physical, psychological, educational and social level; in addition to affecting their integral development, their self-esteem and the formation of their identity. In conclusion, it has been determined that, during the last decade in Ecuador, the undue retention of a son or daughter by a parent has been mainly the result of conflicts and disagreements between separated or divorced parents. These parents have used their sons and daughters as instruments of revenge or blackmail, which has generated conflicts in the psyche of minors and has caused negative emotional repercussions in the short, medium and long term.La retención indebida de un hijo o hija por parte de un progenitor constituye un grave problema de violación de los derechos de la niñez y la adolescencia en Ecuador. A su vez, pone en riesgo la salud e integridad física y psicológica de los niños, niñas y adolescentes, ya que constituye una forma de maltrato infantil. El objetivo general de esta investigación es identificar las consecuencias de la retención indebida por parte de un progenitor en la salud y bienestar de un hijo o hija en Ecuador durante la última década. La pregunta de investigación es ¿cuáles son las consecuencias de la retención indebida por parte de un progenitor en la salud y bienestar de un hijo o hija en Ecuador durante la última década? La metodología empleada fue de corte bibliográfico. Los resultados evidencian que la retención indebida de un hijo o hija por parte de un progenitor ocasiona severas repercusiones en su salud y bienestar a nivel físico, psicológico, educativo y social, además de afectar su desarrollo integral, su autoestima y a la conformación de su identidad. Como conclusión se ha determinado que, durante la última década en Ecuador, la retención indebida de un hijo o hija por parte de un progenitor ha sido principalmente consecuencia de conflictos y desavenencias entre padres separados o divorciados. Estos padres han utilizado a sus hijos e hijas como instrumentos de venganza o chantaje, lo que ha generado conflictos en la psique de los menores y ha provocado repercusiones emocionales negativas a corto, mediano y largo plazo
Análisis del desempeño climático y de sistemas sostenibles pasivos del hotel “Ciudad de Catamayo” en el centro de Catamayo
No full textNowadays, architectural projects that include a sustainable approach by understanding the climatic conditions of the site, guarantee a better thermal comfort performance to its users. In addition, there is a growing demand from users and tourists for sustainable projects whose carbon footprint is the smallest possible to protect the environment in compliance with the UN’s 2030 sustainable agenda. Due to the tourist potential of Catamayo and the climatic characteristics that are presented, this academic article evaluates the climatic conditions of the site, and the behavior of an existing building in Catamayo, on which recommendations are generated to improve the comfort zone inside the building based on sustainable passive strategies. This includes the climatic analysis of the site using the psychometric chart, wind rose and stereological chart to know its climatic variation and focus the data
obtained in the analysis on the existing building of the hotel “Ciudad de Catamayo”. In fact, the building faces long hours of solar exposure during the day, which conditions to generate a high energy consumption to maintain an adequate internal temperature for its guests. Therefore, based on the data from the analysis and several simulations of solar and wind paths, passive strategies are established to be implemented that allow the building to reduce solar radiation gain and include natural ventilation to reduce energy consumption and improve the internal comfort zone of the hotel.En la actualidad, los proyectos arquitectónicos que incluyen un enfoque sostenible entendiendo las con-diciones climático del sitio, garantizan un mejor des-empeño de confort térmico a sus usuarios. además, existe una creciente demanda de usuarios y turistas por proyectos sostenibles cuya huella de carbono sea la menor posible en procura de proteger al medioam-biente cumpliendo la agenda sostenible 2030 de la ONU. Debido al potencial turístico de Catamayo y las características climáticas que se presentan, este arti-culo académico evalúa las condiciones climáticas del sitio, y el comportamiento de un edificio existente en Catamayo, sobre el cual se genera recomendaciones para mejorar la zona de confort al interior del edificio basado en estrategias pasivas sostenibles. Para esto se incluye el análisis climático del cantón utilizando la carta psicométrica, rosa de los vientos y la carta este-reológica para conocer su variación climática y enfo-
car los datos obtenidos en el análisis sobre el edificio existente del hotel “Ciudad de Catamayo”. De hecho, el edificio enfrenta largas horas de exposición solar du-rante el día, lo que condiciona a generar un alto consu-mo energético para mantener una temperatura interna adecuada para sus huéspedes. Por lo tanto, en base a los datos del análisis realizado y varias simulaciones de recorrido solar y recorrido de vientos, se establece estrategias pasivas a implementarse que permitan a la edificación reducir la ganancia de radiación solar e incluyan una ventilación natural para disminuir el con-sumo energético y mejorar la zona de confort interna del hotel
