    Indonesia produced a total of 3,203,775 tons of pineapples in 2022, generating approximately 4,024,800 kg of pineapple peel waste annually, which is then wasted. Therefore, this research aims to utilize pineapple peel waste as the main material for bio-batteries and employs Cu-Al electrodes. The objective of this study is to enhance the voltage and current of bio-batteries made from pineapple peel waste by maintaining the cells in a closed condition to reduce oxidation and using a denser electrolyte through the addition of NaOH and used battery electrolytes. This research employs an experimental method to determine the measurement values of voltage, current, power, light intensity, and bio-battery capacity. The research findings indicate that bio-batteries made from pineapple peel waste with the addition of NaOH and used battery electrolytes increase the maximum voltage and current by 181% and 100%, respectively, resulting in a power output of 36 mW and a light intensity of 540 lux. The best bio-battery capacity of 780 mAH is found in sample A3. Bio-batteries made from pineapple peel waste with the addition of NaOH and used battery electrolytes show potential as an alternative energy source

    This research was carried out to find out the dynamics of climate change in the Bangka Belitung Islands, by utilizing BMKG observer station data at Depati Meteorological Station, starting in 1981 until 2022 that the official obtained from the BMKG website online. This research was conducted at the Education laboratory of FKIP Physics University of Sriwijaya. The research method used is secondary data research with a quantitative approach. Data analysis was used using the RClimDex application with the Expert Team on Climate Change Detection and Indices (ETCCDI) rules. Trend analysis was carried out with non-pithelmetry statistical tests Man-Kendall and Sens tests. The temperature indexes experience significant trends, which indicates that the longer the temperature in the Bangka Belitung Islands will increase

    The purpose of this paper is to describe the essence that occurs at each stage in the discrepancy evaluation model which consists of the Design, Installation, Process and Product stages related to the Blended Learning method in the modern spectacles course at the Muslim University of Maros. Based on the type of research used, this research is included in program evaluation research using the discrepancy evaluation model. The research sample consisted of 14 people plus 1 modern physics lecturer. Data collection was carried out using a mixed method with data collection instruments using, (1) interview guidelines, (2) questionnaires with a Likert scale model and (3) documentation. The data analysis technique used for qualitative data is data analysis using the Miles and Huberman model. This data analysis technique consists of data collection, data reduction and drawing conclusions. As for the quantitative data, the data analysis technique used is quantitative descriptive analysis and the calculation of the coefficient of determination. The results showed that (1) there was no discrepancy in the design stage (2) there was a discrepancy in the installation stage of 0.04 (3) there was a discrepancy in the Process stage of 0.23 (4) there was a discrepancy in the Product stage of 0. 78. So that the Blended Learning lectures can be continued with suggestions for improvement, namely (1) Lecturers continue to carry out their obligations to carry out face-to-face lectures, (2) Require students to study material in Google Classroom, (3) Uploaded material has various forms

    This research aims to describe on how far the tasks in textbook develop the communicative task in CLT approach used in textbook. The researches choose descriptive method in this.The data are taken from the textbook for ten grade of Secondary School entitled Work in Progress written by Budi Hermawan, Dwi Haryanti, and Nining Suryaningsih which published by Ministry of Research, Technology and Higher Education Indonesia in 2022.The technique of collecting data in this research  used documentary analysis. The data are collected only from the first chapter as it already represent the communicative task asked by the researchers. Several steps used in analyzing data, they  are  defining criteria, subjective analysis, objective analysis, and matching. The research results that: (1) this textbook is suitable to be used regarding to the learners need (2) The percentage of communicative task in the first chapter is 75.1% - 87.5%. It means that this textbook is specifically in chapter 1 is recommended in teaching and learning

    Demokrasi Pendidikan Islam di Perguruan Tinggi

    Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk menganalisis demokrasi pendidikan Islam di perguruan tinggi. Metode yang digunakan dalam penelitian ini adalah studi kepustakaan. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan : (1) konsep dasar demokrasi pendidikan Islam meliputi; pengertian demokrasi pendidikan, pendidikan Islam sebagai landasan demokrasi pendidikan, menekankan nilai-nilai keadilan, pemikiran kritis, musyawarah, kepemimpinan adil, keterbukaab terhadap keragaman, pendidikan karakater dan pemberdayaan individu. (2) prinsip-prinsip  demokrasi  pendidikan Islam mencakup musyawarah, keadilan kebebasan berpendapat, transparansi. (3) Implikasi bagi dosen dan tenaga kependidikan termasuk partisipasi dalam pengambilan keputusan, kebebasan akademik, pengelolaan sumber daya, pengembangan berpikir kritis, pengembangan kurikulum, dan tanggung jawab sosial. Bagi mahasiswa, implikasinya melibatkan partisipasi aktif, pengembangan keterampilan demokrasi, riset, nilai-nilai demokratis Islam, serta pertumbuhan pribadi dan spiritual. (4) Tantangan dan hambatan melibatkan regulasi, intoleransi, pengaruh eksternal, keterbatasan sumber daya, dan tantangan multikulturalisme. Integrasi prinsip-prinsip demokrasi dengan nilai-nilai Islam diharapkan dapat menciptakan lingkungan pendidikan yang demokratis di perguruan tinggi

    Proses pembelajaran sebaiknya mampu menciptakan lingkungan belajar yang efektif  sehingga hasil belajar dapat maksimal. Salah satu proses pembelajaran yang efektif dengan memanfaatakan model CTL. Model pembelajaran CTL membantu peserta didik dalam menemukan makna atau pengalaman secara nyata. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui penerapan model pembelajaran CTL dalam meningkatkan hasil belajar siswa kelas XI di SMAN 2 Muaro Jambi melalui tindakan pre-test, treatment, dan post-test dengan menggunakan hasil belajar siswa sebagai capaian akhirnya. Penarikan sampel dalam penelitian ini menggunakan sampling jenuh, yakni menggunakan 2 (dua) kelas yang mana kelas tersebut adalah XI IPS 1 sebagai kelas eksperimen dan kelas XI IPS 4 sebagai kelas kontrol dengan jumlah 57 siswa. Berdasarkan penelitian yang telah dilakukan di SMAN 2 Muaro Jambi dengan menggunakan model pembelajaran  CTL dan konvesional atau metode ceramah, diketahui pada kelas XI IPS 1 sebagai kelas eksperimen dengan menggunakan model pembelajaran CTL dapat diketahui bahwa masih terdapat 17 (81,48%) siswa yang belum mampu mencapai nilai KKM. Sementara, pada kelas XI IPS 4 sebagai kelas kontrol dengan menggunakan metode pembelajaran konvensional jika dilihat dari hasil treatment, post-test, dan pre-test akhir tidak lebih dari 50% siswa yang berhasil mendapatkan nilai di atas KKM

    Tujuan Penelitian ini adalah untuk mengetahui perbedaan kemampuan berpikir kritis Siswa pada Pembelajaran PAI dengan menggunakan Media Game Kahoot dan Quizizz di SMA Negeri 1 Waru Sidoarjo. Metode penelitian ini menggunakan pendekatan Kuantitatif dengan jenis Komparasi. Subyek Penelitian adalah siswa kelas X yang populasinya berjumlah 392 siswa dan menggunakan Purposive Sampling yang berjumlah 60 siswa. Teknik pengumpulan data yang digunakan berupa serangkaian Tes. Teknik analisis data menggunakan Uji Normalitas, Uji Homogenitas dan Uji T. Adapun hasil perhitungan dari penelitian ini menunjukkan bahwa thitung= 4,111 lebih besar dari pada ttabel= 2,001. Sehingga H0 ditolak dan H1 diterima, artinya terdapat Perbedaan kemampuan berpikir kritis Siswa pada pembelajaran PAI dengan menggunakan Media Game Kahoot dan Quizizz di SMA Negeri 1 Waru Sidoarjo

    This article discusses the comparison of management at the Nihayatul Amal and Al-Muhajirin Islamic boarding schools, with the aim of knowing the similarities, differences, disadvantages and advantages between the two. Then this article is in the form of qualitative research with a critical analysis approach to the two Islamic boarding schools, and the data taken is the result of searching for previous research such as journals, books and so on as well as interviews with the alumni concerned. The result obtained is that these two Islamic boarding schools have their own characteristics, especially in terms of curriculum where the Nihayatul Amal boarding school is more inclined to the classical system but the Al-Muhajirin pesantren uses an integration system between classical and modern, as well as from the organization of the Al-Muhajirin pesantren they recruit service students who have been declared to have passed strata 1 while in the Nihayatul Amal boarding school only service students have participating in PKL activities, and from an institutional point of view, Nihayatul Amal has the status of a pure Islamic boarding school while Al-Muhajirin has the status of a foundation

    AbstractResearchers emphasize the connection of mathematics with daily life. A good understanding of math is crucial due to its real-life applications, yet many find it challenging. Mathematics is not just formulas but also a vital tool for problem-solving. Negative views on math can diminish learning interest and academic outcomes. To address this, engaging and relevant teaching approaches are necessary. The importance of mathematical thinking development in primary school is highlighted, forming the basis for future complex math comprehension. This study employs a qualitative approach, with the researcher as the main instrument. The method used is library research, involving data collection from books and literature on mathematical thinking development in primary school children. The study concludes that mathematical thinking development in primary school children follows Piaget\u27s four stages: sensorimotor, preoperational, concrete operational, and formal operational. Influenced by psychological, environmental, educational, genetic, and cognitive factors, teachers and parents play crucial roles in providing support through conducive learning environments and diverse mathematical experiences. Teaching strategies such as problem-based learning and technology use support the development of critical, creative, and independent mathematical thinking.Keywords: Mathematical Thinking, Cognitive, School Mathematics AbstrakPara peneliti menekankan keterkaitan matematika dengan kehidupan sehari-hari. Pemahaman matematika yang baik penting karena aplikasinya dalam kehidupan nyata. Namun, banyak yang merasa sulit memahaminya. Matematika bukan hanya rumus, tetapi juga alat penting untuk memecahkan masalah. Pandangan negatif terhadap matematika dapat mengurangi minat belajar dan hasil akademis. Untuk mengatasi hal ini, pendekatan pembelajaran yang menarik dan relevan diperlukan. Pentingnya perkembangan berpikir matematika pada usia sekolah dasar juga disoroti, karena membentuk dasar untuk pemahaman matematika yang lebih kompleks di masa depan. Penelitian ini menggunakan pendekatan kualitatif dengan peneliti sebagai instrumen utama. Metode yang digunakan adalah studi kepustakaan, melibatkan pengumpulan data dari buku-buku dan literatur tentang perkembangan berpikir matematis pada anak usia Sekolah Dasar. Dari penelitian ini didapatkan kesimpulan bahwa perkembangan berpikir matematika pada anak usia sekolah dasar melalui empat tahap Piaget; sensorimotorik, pra-operasional, operasional konkret, dan operasional formal. Dipengaruhi oleh faktor psikologis, lingkungan, pendidikan, genetik, dan kognitif. Guru dan orang tua berperan penting dalam memberikan dukungan melalui lingkungan belajar yang mendukung dan pengalaman matematika yang beragam. Strategi pengajaran seperti pengajaran berbasis masalah dan penggunaan teknologi mendukung perkembangan berpikir matematika yang kritis, kreatif, dan mandiri.Keywords: Berpikir Matematis, Kognitif, Matematika Sekola
