Perceptions of small animal nutrition: an exploration of education and self-reported proficiency among student veterinary professionals
This dataset will contribute towards the project manager’s doctoral degree aimed at exploring knowledge, attitudes, behaviour and practice of small animal veterinary nutrition. It also underpins a manuscript which has been submitted for publication in the Journal of Veterinary Medical Education (JVME)
Uukuniemi virus infection causes a pervasive remodelling of the RNA-binding proteome in tick cells
This data set underpins all of the published figures of the manuscript. It includes qPCR data, luciferase data, all proteomics data and virus titration
iMCD Movement Data
Overview:
The Integrated Multimedia City Household Survey dataset was produced as a result of a collaborative Economic and Social Research Council, ESRC-funded project across the University of Glasgow, Newcastle and Sheffield.
The purpose of the iMCD datasets was to provide a 360° overview of a life in the city, combining various datasets and methods of collection.
iMCD Movement Data
iMCD data on people's movements around Glasgow between 15th April 2015 - 21st November 2015.
Access and restrictions:
Licences are available for non-commercial academic research use only. The data is available to request as Safeguarded data under UBDC's End User Licence. To use the data, researchers need to apply to UBDC setting out a summary of the work they plan to undertake so that the usage can be assessed against these criteria. Please apply to UBDC. If the intended use falls within the terms of the licence, researchers will be asked to sign an End User Licence agreement. Datasets will be shared with eligible applicants on receipt of completed license agreements.

Materiality matters: exploring how archivists engage with, and represent, textile pattern books digitally
This dataset contains research data gathered and analysed as part of doctoral research into the contribution that material evidence makes to the interpretation of historic textile pattern books and archivists’ consideration of the records’ materiality when facilitating digital access to textile heritage collections. The dataset contains data collected through a survey of textile heritage researchers; from interviews with heritage professionals; and the researcher’s physical study of archived pattern books
TLR7-induced murine inflammation results in a global neuroinflammatory response driving neural circuit-specific transcriptomic changes
Spatial transcriptomics (CosMx) data profiling of brains of wild-type C57BL/6J female mice (8 weeks old) undergoing a 3-day topical application of control or Aldara (Imiquimod-containing cream) cream to induce neuroinflammation
Educating for academic integrity: effectiveness of a digital resource on plagiarism awareness among postgraduate bioscience students
This dataset links to a Scholarship of Teaching and Learning study which the research team conducted from February 2024 to October 2025 to evaluate student perceptions of a Moodle-based academic integrity training resource, ‘Good Academic Practice in the Biosciences’. The study received ethical approval from the MVLS ethics committee (see later for detail). We conducted an online survey using Qualtrics with closed (Lickert-style) and open-ended questions as part of the research to collect both quantitative and qualitative data.
The survey was fully anonymous and so the data files comprise:
1. A Word document of Qualtrics survey questions
2. An Excel file of full exported data from Qualtrics.
3. The SPSS database file of Lickert-style data.
4. Output files of statistical analyses performed in SPSS.
5. Excel file of semi-quantitative data analyses of open-ended responses
6. Excel file of qualitative analyses of open-ended responses
7. Prepared manuscript file
